Chapter 3 - First Mission, First Chaos

The warehouse had barely cooled down from yesterday's power surge when Astro leaned against a pillar, twirling his shadow-light sword. "Bruh, we've been chilling too long. Time to see if all this power actually does something useful."

Tenji stretched, cracking his knuckles. "Finally, mfana. I'm ready to smash some shit metaphorically, maybe literally."

Hunter was already messing with his holographic interface, scanning the sky. "Yo, squad. We got a situation. Something… not Earthly just popped up. Energy readings are off the charts."

Phantom materialized from the shadows, leaning against a wall. "Y'all thinkin' it's a test? Or just some random chaos?"

"Dawg," Astro said, grinning, "does it matter? Either way, we get to flex."

The Threat Appears

They were still talking when the sky tore open a shadowy alien craft descended, glowing with an eerie purple light. Four figures emerged: elite intergalactic cultivators, each radiating cosmic energy.

One waved, smirking. "Well, look at this. Fresh meat."

Astro tilted his head. "Bruh… they really think they can mess with us?"

The squad didn't wait for invitations. Astro teleported forward, shadow clones multiplying instantly. Tenji barreled ahead, fists glowing. Hunter set up predictive barriers while Phantom vanished, appearing behind one of the alien cultivators.

Testing Powers

Astro:

Light and shadow fused in every strike.

Clones acted independently, striking from every angle.

"Try not to get caught in all this, mfana," he shouted, dodging a purple energy blast.

Tenji:

Punched a pillar, sending a shockwave toward two enemies.

"Big dawg energy, engage!"

Hunter:

Shadows twisted around enemies, slowing movements.

"Don't just swing! Strategy, mahhboiii!"

Phantom:

Blinked behind enemies, cutting off escape routes.

"Silent but deadly, dawg. You feel that?"

The alien cultivators were tough, but the squad's teamwork, powers, and slightly overpowered abilities gave them the upper hand. Energy clashed, the air rippled, and the ground cracked under Tenji's fists.

Squad Banter Amid Chaos

Astro dodged a blast and yelled, "Yo, Tenji! Stop punching the floor like it owes you money!"

Tenji laughed mid-swing. "Bruh, it's satisfying!"

Hunter adjusted his interface. "Dawg, keep it tight. Don't get sloppy."

Phantom whispered from the shadows, "Lowkey, they can't even see me coming. Easy."

Aftermath & Foreshadowing

When the dust settled, the alien cultivators retreated, leaving the squad bruised but hyped.

Astro grinned. "Hell yeah. That's how you test limits."

Tenji clapped him on the back. "Big dawg confirmed."

Hunter scrolled through his interface. "Energy readings show they weren't playing. If they come back, it'll be worse."

Phantom vanished into the shadows, reappearing atop the warehouse roof. "Bruh… next time, I'm taking the high ground."

Above them, stars twinkled innocently, but the universe was watching. Hub Goblins, cultivators, and intergalactic villains were all taking notes. And the squad? They were officially on the radar.
