"DON'T DIE SOON!" A massive tigerkin fighter rushed toward him, murder gleaming in those feral eyes—
Then the world went to shit.
The stone beneath his feet lurched violently. Not a tremor. Not a shake. A full-blown goddamn earthquake that ripped through the arena like the world itself was splitting apart.
"What the—" The charging tigerkin stumbled mid-rush, his face twisting in confusion.
The tigresses in the stands felt it first. Their cheers cut off as the seats bucked underneath them, stone cracking with sharp reports that echoed like gunshots.
"WHAT'S HAPPENING?!"
"THE GROUND—AHHH!"
The higher tiers started crumbling.
Tigresses screamed as they tumbled forward, claws scraping for purchase on suddenly unreliable stone. Some managed to grab onto railings.
Others weren't so lucky—bodies plummeting down, smashing into lower sections with bone-crushing impacts.
But that was just the beginning.
The sky above the open arena suddenly burned white.
