On the way, he had learned everything. His family hadn't even bothered to send someone to rescue him.

Taking a deep breath, he finally looked at Lana.

He believed that even the River family would one day repay her... not for saving him, but for preserving their reputation.
With that thought, Blake stepped out of the car and walked toward the mansion.
Jimmy, on the other hand, flicked her gaze toward Lana, the corner of her lips lifting into an ingratiating smile that looked practiced.
"So… if I want to buy these talismans from you," Jimmy tilted her head slightly, her tone smooth and coaxing, "how much would that cost?"
