Her eyes widened. "Then how did I even have instant noodles?"
Mr. Crow shook his head slowly. "Axel, of course. He probably couldn't bear to see you hunting for food."
Warmth spread through her chest at those words.
"And there's more," Mr. Crow added. "They found food, yet they're eating without enthusiasm. Have you noticed?"
Lana nodded slowly.
"That's because they lack basic seasonings and spices," he continued.
"Without them, food becomes almost inedible. Right now, they're eating like someone forced them to chew raw apples just to survive."
Hearing this, Lana felt both amused and slightly annoyed. 'That's… painfully accurate,' she thought.
"I don't have any spices either," she admitted quietly.
Mr. Crow chuckled. "You don't need to worry about that."
She frowned. "What do you mean?"
"Your crazy uncle," he replied smoothly. "He definitely left something behind for you."
Her brows furrowed deeper. "Left what?"
