Lana watched the professor walk away, his figure disappearing beyond the classroom door as the faint echo of his footsteps dissolved into the long corridor.
She calmly completed the gesture of grace, her movements unhurried and almost indifferent, as though nothing unusual had happened.
At that very moment, seeing Lana so nonchalant, every classmate in the room felt as if someone were pouring scalding water directly onto their hearts.
They truly could not bear the arrogance they believed they saw on Lana's face.
