Just as he was thinking about it, he suddenly noticed movement in the distance. A group of figures was slowly moving toward one of the cliffs.
Lucian narrowed his eyes and followed them from a distance. As he approached, he heard the faint sound of human voices.
'Hm? From the looks of it, there is a human civilization nearby, but they don't sound like NCP of the mystic realm. Maybe Axel's girlfriend was here too? Otherwise, he wouldn't move in such an opposite direction from us.'
Just as he thought this, Lana stirred slightly in her sleep. "Are we here?"
Lucian looked down at her and smiled. "Yes, we are here."
Lana finally opened her eyes and slowly examined the strange surroundings. The valley was surrounded by towering cliffs, and a cold wind swept through the narrow passage, carrying the faint smell of damp earth and moss.
She murmured, "Wow, this place looks creepy."
