Chapter 1 - Patience

Hisoki is with his Grandfather, sitting in a meditating position with eyes closed and focused. Around them are beautiful and sweet blossom leaves falling on the ground and a peaceful and calming waterfall. Hisoki opened one of his eyes.

Hisoki: " What are we doing here ? "

Grandpa: " Patience, we're here to build our patience. "

Hisoki: " But why ? " he said in a bored tone.

Grandpa: " Learning new techniques, getting stronger, honing your skills, all take time and patience is key to make sure your focused and not rash when doing these things. "

Hisoki: " Well how long are gonna stay here, I'm getting bored. "

Grandfather: " (sigh) Let's go, I don't think you're ready yet. "

Hisoki: " Whatever Gramps."

Hisoki and his Grandfather leave the waterfall and head back to Naki village. Naki village is a peaceful village filled with prosperity and joy. Most people in Naki village live a normal life, like being a farmer, a fisherman, a marketer and many other humble and simple jobs. But those who are strong if, train hard and spend their time to protect the village and the people in it.

A villager: " Mr. Akazumi !! "

Grandpa: "Hmm ? "

A villager: " Mr. Akazumi, we need to talk about the upcoming trade between on of our neighboring villages.

Hisoki: " Oh hey Mr. Okane "

Mr. Okane: " Hey Hisoki, looks like you were out with Mr. Akazumi again, getting in some special training huh ? "

Hisoki: " Uh, not really, Gramps didn't teach me anything at all. I don't even think an old man like him can even teach me anything, I'm better of teaching myself.

Mr. Okane: " Hey, you should be lucky that the elder of the village is willing to spend his time to teach you something, most people don't even have the chance. " he said in angrily.

Hisoki: " Whatever, anyway Gramps, I gotta go meet up with Uzu and Shuugeki. See ya later.

Mr. Okane: " You little brat, get back here now!! "

Elder Akazumi: " Just let him go, it's fine. "

Mr. Okane: " Honestly, how is he related to such a noble and kind person like you Sir ?

Elder Akazumi: " Sure Hisoki might be a bit cocky and hardheaded, but the boy has a lot going for him. "

Mr. Okane: '' Hmm ? "

Elder Akazumi: " He wants to get really strong, badly, and it's not because he wants to prove anything to anyone, he's doing for the village. He wants to become strong, strong enough to protect the village, just like you Okane. "

Mr. Okane: " Is that so ? "

As Hisoki makes his way to his friends, Elder Akazumi and Mr. Okane look up at Hisoki as he is moving and see on the back of his clothing, his Grandfather's name engraved on it. Mr. Okane is looks impressed while Elder Akazumi looks at it with a heartwarming smile.
