Chapter 10 - Sisters' bickering

«Blood Word Lv. 1: Weapon!»

The blood floating around my fist hardens into a long sword glowing in deep violet.

«I did it... I did it! Look, Ayra! I did it!» I shout, exploding with uncontrollable euphoria as I show off the shining blade with pride.

«You were amazing, Lyon!» Ayra exclaims, just as overjoyed, her blood-red eyes shining with joy even brighter than mine.

Seeing her so happy and excited for my progress, I can't help but recall Gerard's words from last night.

Is Ayra really as ruthless and cruel as he claims?

Yet… her eyes, her smile… no, she's not like the other vampires.

I'm certain of it!

«At this rate, we'll see you at the top of the ranking in no time…» Sasha sneers, once again watching my training despite Ayra repeatedly ordering her to leave.

But in the end, their father's rules are clear: priority use of the training hall belongs to whoever stands higher in the ranking, and Sasha is far above us.

Still, she allowed us to use it on the condition that she could watch my training.

«Anyway, your Visanguis energy is much weaker today compared to yesterday,» Sasha observes, narrowing her eyes at me with suspicion. «Maybe something is bothering you, making it harder to focus on Ayra's tits? Or maybe...» A sly smile curls her lips. «...maybe my sister's body just doesn't excite you enough anymore? Perhaps... you need new stimulation?»

In that instant, Sasha's skimpy clothes dissolve into a red mist, and... she too is completely naked!

«My body is far more developed than my little sister's: my hips are wider, my thighs thicker, my boobs much bigger. So, what do you think... is this enough to reignite all your potential?» she teases, her voice dripping with seduction.

My eyes almost pop out of my head at the sight of her breathtaking naked body.

Sasha isn't joking; her curves are far more voluptuous than Ayra's.

Her boobs are… enormous… gigantic!

Ayra's are impressive too, but Sasha is on a completely different level! I can't help but wonder how she doesn't suffer from back pain carrying breasts the size of basketballs!

I'm drooling without even realizing it, like a starving man staring at a steaming, delicious feast.

«S-Stop playing the slut with my familiar!» Ayra snaps, her cheeks red like a tomato.

«What's wrong, little sister? Afraid that—after seeing me naked—he won't be able to trigger Visanguis while thinking of you… but only of me instead?»

«Y-You're making me angry!» Ayra stammers, her voice trembling with rage.

Suddenly, the atmosphere turns heavy, oppressive, almost scorching.

A dense vortex of red energy—Sanguis energy—erupts around Ayra's body like a storm, violent enough to hurl me backward.

The power she's releasing right now is… insane!

I can't even stand under the crushing weight of the energy saturating the air.

But it isn't just my weakness; even Dorje—far stronger and more experienced than me—can barely remain standing.

Sasha, however, doesn't seem affected in the slightest.

«The truth hurts, doesn't it, little sister?» Sasha mocks, completely unfazed.

Around her, that same devastating energy radiates outward, intensifying the already unbearable atmosphere.

Two goddesses of beauty—completely naked—ready to fight… for me?

Yes, though it's probably just an excuse.

They were surely eager to clash, and this was the spark that ignited the fire.

«A-Ayra… what are you doing?» I mutter weakly, my voice broken by pain—my body crushed as if under a hydraulic press—in a useless attempt to calm her down.

«Lyon.»

Ayra's voice is cold and stern, yet terrifyingly unsettling.

«Interfering between two vampires is an intolerable act of disrespect. You couldn't have known, so I won't punish you this time, but never dare to do it again.»

Her ruthless tone forces me to abandon any attempt to calm her.

My body trembles with fear—a fear unlike anything I've ever felt before.

The strength of a vampire is… terrifying!

In Ayra's hand materializes a sword—the very same one I managed to summon only after hours of exhausting training—while in Sasha's hands a massive scythe takes form, its crescent blade as long as the weapon's entire shaft.

With the scythe in her grip and Sanguis energy swirling around her, Sasha looks like a true goddess of death.

They used the Blood Word Weapon, but without speaking it aloud—I remember Ayra had told me that since Weapon is such a basic Blood Word, a vampire doesn't need to pronounce it to cast it.

And then… they hurl themselves at each other, moving so fast I can't even see them start—they simply vanish into nothing, leaving behind a scarlet trail.

Suddenly, an unexpected shockwave bursts from somewhere in the training hall, accompanied by a deafening metallic clang.

When they reappear, they're face-to-face, Ayra's sword locked against Sasha's scythe.

But in that instant, something happens.

A sudden beam of red light descends from the sky, striking exactly where Ayra and Sasha are fighting, forcing them to leap back in opposite directions.

The beam—initially about two meters wide—gradually narrows until it vanishes completely.

«Looks like we'll have to postpone our discussion…» Sasha murmurs.

«I'm afraid so…» Ayra replies with visible resignation.

At the spot where the red beam struck now stand two figures.

One is a woman with an imposing presence and a muscular build comparable to Gerard's.

Her dark brown hair is cut rather short, and her clothing is distinctly masculine—a green tank top and brown trousers, almost like a military uniform.

If not for her breasts, no one would ever think she was a woman.

The other figure I can barely glimpse from the corner of my eye, a small silhouette overshadowed by the towering presence of the larger woman.
