The night he woke up from a soothing dream with Shika, Shin was once again lulled into a deep sleep. This time, he was visited by Shikiga, the woman who was Li Mu's nemesis and the heart of Shi Bo.
The dreamscape was hazy, and Zi Ji Ge's figure was as fleeting as a mirage. Her eyes held deep sadness, but when they touched the warmth of Xin's life, they regained a faint sparkle.
Shikika: "...Shin-sama, your heat is like the blazing sun... Will it melt my frozen soul?"
Shikika's voice was sorrowful that it made Shin's heart ache. She was a woman who had suffered a tragic fate, losing her life in order to avenge her beloved Shihaku.
Shin: "Shikika. Your sadness is over now. I will overwrite your entire soul with the heat of your current 'life'."
Although Nobu understands her past love and tragedy, he believes that his passion here and now can save her.
2. Liberation of the Soul
Shin gently embraced Shikika's fragile body. Her skin was cold and she desperately needed his warmth.
Shin sealed away his roughness and, with all his love, penetrated deep and slowly into her. This union was not so much a physical pleasure as it was a communion of souls and a release from the chains of the past.

As Shi Jika accepted Shin's warmth, tears began to flow from her sad eyes. They were not tears of betrayal of her love for Shi Bo, but tears of joy at the release of her long-imprisoned soul.
Shikika: "Ah... Nobu-sama... this heat is different from Shihaku-sama's... it's the warmth of a strong 'life' that connects to the future... Mmm!... Everything about me... is being purified..."
In front of Shin's passion, she let go of everything from the past. Shin washed away her sadness with his passion and led her soul to the ultimate state of peace.
Shin: "Shikika. You will no longer suffer. Your love is eternal. But you also have the right to be happy. Right now, at this very moment, I will save you!"

Shikika's soul was healed by Shin's passion and she passed away peacefully.

Shin woke up with a lingering sense of sadness and the importance of overcoming the sorrows of the past. This experience gave him a new resolve to build a future of a unified China.
