Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Abundance and Nihility [Abundance · Yaoshi]

"Let the traveler's staff strike the earth," they said, "once, twice."

With the utterance of prophecy, the divine embodiment of life slowly manifested before them—first, a pair of bare feet, then hands cradling grains.

Like a compassionate deity, mourning the suffering of mortals, grieving for the world's pain.

"Tiny sprouts shall grow into towering canopies."

"Sweet rain shall drip from the branches, washing away your ailments and poisons."

A god with the form of a man yet the visage of a woman, draped in a hood, exuding benevolence—gentle and sorrowful for all living things at first glance, yet in the next moment, radiating an eerie, unsettling aura.

Yaoshi bore six arms, each adorned with crimson beads resembling eyes.

Gazing upon mortals, unrestrained in bestowing boundless affection!

Between compassion and strangeness, the divine nature of Abundance Yaoshi stood even more pronounced.

This was the Nurturer of All Life, the God of Elysium—whose very existence was to ensure life flourished endlessly.

To those facing decay and sickness, prayers could be offered to them.

They had granted countless beings life and immortality.

Yet in the cosmos, they had also wrought endless calamity!

[Otto]: Immortality? Abundance? I wonder if this Abundance Aeon could bring back the dead?

[Jing Yuan]: The blessings of the Plague Author are both gifts and curses. Moreover, as of now, the Plague Author possesses no power to resurrect the deceased.

Jing Yuan instinctively rubbed his temples. Beneath such cosmic wonders, this was both an opportunity and a challenge. Once this knowledge was revealed to ordinary people, who could predict what would happen? Perhaps more civilizations would seek immortality, following the path of the Abundance Emanators.

[Otto]: @Jing Yuan, no need to worry, my friend. I have no intention of seeking blessings from the Abundance Aeon—I'm merely curious. Besides, we're separated by the barrier of an entire universe, aren't we?

[Tesla]: You ******* Otto! Are you planning to wreak havoc across the cosmos now?!

[Raiden Mei]: At first, I thought the Abundance Aeon seemed so benevolent—why would the Hunt pursue them? But now I understand. Unrestrained mercy is also a sin.

[Fu Xuan]: Exactly. The Plague Author's blessings only bring disaster to the world. The Mara-Struck curse follows every afflicted soul eternally—including those of our Xianzhou Alliance.

[Feixiao]: Precisely because we have tasted the calamity brought by the Plague Author that we wage war against Abundance!

[Topaz]: Uncontrolled blessings bring ruin even to the cosmos. The Abundance Emanators are reviled across the universe—a scourge no less destructive than the Antimatter Legion.

[Kosma]: …

[Pardofelis]: What A-Mo means is… we don't know if it's good or bad that we haven't ventured into space yet. Even though Earth has Honkai, cosmic disasters seem just as rampant out there.

[Kevin]: Civilization must expand outward eventually—even if every star in the sky is an enemy.

[Hulei]: Hahaha! We, the Borisin, will annihilate you Xianzhou dogs!

Though subjected to daily torture in the Shackling Prison, under Abundance's blessing, his wounds heal swiftly—yet the bone-deep agony never lessens! Amid this endless suffering, his hatred for Xianzhou only festers! Who knows if Xianzhou's reinforced defenses—prepared for potential chaos from this viewing space—will still allow prison breaks?

[Nihility · IX]

"Cover your eyes," they said, "lest the encroaching darkness unsettle your soul."

Amidst countless swirling stars, an Aeon whose form seemed woven from the galaxy itself opened its adorable eyes.

"For it shall make your soul heavy as lead and your feet numb beyond feeling."

All things resist nothingness.

All things rush toward nothingness.

All things succumb to nothingness.

[Kiana]: Huh? This Aeon looks kinda cute… O.o

[Stelle]: O.o Yeah, it really does!

[March 7th]: O.o

[Honkai Welt]: March, Stelle, Kiana—stop fooling around. The Nihility Aeon isn't something to be taken lightly.

[Herta]: The Nihility Aeon believes the universe is devoid of meaning. Its form is shrouded in layers of mist.

[Acheron]: The Formless One's manifestations vary. My homeland once vanished in an unconscious whim of theirs.

[Pardofelis]: Thought it was just some slacker Aeon… but it's actually this strong?!

[Aventurine]: If anything, Nihility is among the most powerful Aeons—its Path's corruptive influence surpasses all others.

[Sunday]: Precisely because it is Nihility, it is omnipotent—yet because it is Nihility, it does nothing. Thus, no Emanators exist for it.

[Acheron]: …Uh…

[Sunday]: Those who walk Nihility's Path still form factions: Chaotic Healers, Self-Annihilators… and the rumored Ninth Agency.

[Luocha]: Chaotic Healers are thinkers who inadvertently touched Nihility's gaze. They strive to defy its fate—to prove to IX that existence has meaning!

They seek to liberate this vast, lonely being from the abyss of oblivion—a near-paradoxical endeavor bordering on impossibility. Yet they embrace it gladly. For in realizing life's futility, a distant gaze from across the stars ignited their rebellion against Nihility itself.

[Himeko]: The Self-Annihilators likely fit your stereotype better—they deem all existence meaningless, humanity insignificant before Aeons.

[Seele]: But even in the face of despair, we must claw our way out of Nihility!

[Acheron]: How can one escape Nihility's gaze? To seek meaning within void is among the most tragic and agonizing trials—to watch your past, your very self, dissolve into nothingness. This isn't something willpower alone can overcome!

[Bronya Rand]: Truly unimaginable… The universe is vast indeed! Before our planet's glacial catastrophe, we were an interstellar civilization already integrated with cosmic society. But in this era of regression… such things feel like distant myths.

[Kiana]: Bronya! Look—it's your counterpart!

So far we've seen Bronya, Seele, and Teacher Himeko… Wonder where my counterpart and Mei's are? But I bet we're best friends too!

Hey~ My counterpart! You there?

[Acheron]: I've met many familiar faces across the stars—each walking different paths, bound by different fates. Counterparts are hardly rare in this universe…
