Chapter 2 - "A Home Visit from Hell"

________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Akio wasn't exactly unfamiliar with Dimensional Demon-Gods.

Before he crossed over into this world, he'd watched Marvel too.

Dimensional Demon-Gods were those special kinds of beings in the Marvel universe. Each one held dominion over an entire dimension, wielding its power like it was nothing more than their personal toy. The whole strength of that dimension bent to their will.

Creepy? You bet.

The most famous of them, at least in the Marvel world, was Dormammu—the eternal nemesis of Doctor Strange.

Dormammu was the Lord of the Dark Dimension.

Now, sure, in the Doctor Strange movie he kind of got embarrassed right away, forced into retreat by Strange's time loop trick with the Time Stone. He looked like a bit of a joke there.

But make no mistake—Dormammu's actual strength was terrifying.

In the comics, he was considered one of the greatest mystical entities in all of Marvel's multiverse. He claimed his power rivaled Odin or Zeus, and he even had the guts to challenge Eternity, one of the Five Great Cosmic Beings.

His powers? Too many to list, but they included matter transmutation, dimensional travel, shape-shifting, elemental control, telepathy, creating artificial life, empowering others—you name it.

He could channel the boundless energy of the Dark Dimension itself, on top of his own inherent strength, and command its resources like a god-emperor.

Clearly, Dormammu wasn't someone to underestimate.

But here's the thing: even Dormammu wasn't the strongest among the dimensional overlords.

There were beings scarier than him.

Like Cyttorak, the ruler of the Crimson Cosmos.

This guy? Next level.

He hasn't shown up in the MCU yet, but in the comics he's insanely powerful—powerful enough to swat Dormammu like a fly.

Within his own Crimson Cosmos, Cyttorak was essentially omnipotent. He once kidnapped both Galactus and Doctor Strange, shrugged off the powers of the Infinity Gems, and even beat down gods of the past. Twisting space, erasing time? Child's play for him.

One of his most famous battles?

Someone once wielded a shard of the Phoenix Force—one-fifth of it, to be exact—and tried to negotiate with him. Cyttorak casually threw them right out of the Crimson Cosmos.

And keep in mind, that was the Phoenix Force. One of the most feared powers in the Marvel multiverse. Its flames could burn entire universes, reduce them to ash, or resurrect them anew. Even with just a fragment, it was terrifyingly strong.

Yet against Cyttorak? Tossed aside like garbage.

That's how scary the Crimson Lord was.

And now, Akio himself had joined their ranks. Like Dormammu, like Cyttorak, he had become a true Dimensional Overlord—a Dimensional Demon-God.

How could he not be thrilled?

The very next second, Akio stepped through the doorway within his body and entered his own dimension.

He called it the Light Dimension. The complete opposite of Dormammu's Dark Dimension.

This place was nothing but pure, blinding light. Endless whiteness stretched in every direction—no ground, no sky, just an infinite glow.

But Akio quickly noticed something: his Light Dimension was way too small.

Cyttorak's realm was so vast it was called the Crimson Cosmos, practically a whole universe. Dormammu, meanwhile, could form a single head from his Dark Dimension's power that rivaled Earth in size.

And Akio?

He did the math. His entire dimension was only about the size of a single planet.

Compared to the others, his was a pocket-sized realm.

Still, the title mattered. He was now a Dimensional Overlord, same rank as Dormammu and Cyttorak.

In terms of status, he was their equal. In terms of power… yeah, he'd get squashed instantly by either of them.

But Akio didn't care.

Becoming a Dimensional Overlord at all was already incredible.

Besides, a planet-sized dimension was more than enough for him. Here, in his Light Dimension, he was absolute. No one could challenge him.

And the Light Dimension also gave him terrifying new strength—strength that let him leap straight to the top.

Now, if he ran into that monster that had devoured his body's original owner… he could crush it with a single finger.

That was the power of a Dimensional Demon-God.

But before anything else, Akio wanted to remodel this Light Dimension.

Because honestly? A whole lot of blinding white light and nothing else was way too boring.

With a little effort, he reshaped it. Atmosphere, rivers, oceans, continents, grassy plains, rolling hills—it all came into being. He even built himself a grand, luxurious palace right in the middle of a vast meadow.

Now it finally looked like a place worth living in.

After all, here he was a god. Changing his realm was effortless.

The only flaw was that his Light Dimension had no sun.

Which meant no day and night. It was daytime twenty-four hours a day, wrapped in that eternal white glow. Night simply didn't exist here.

But this was just the start. He planned to keep refining it, transforming the dimension step by step. It wouldn't be a one-day project—but that was fine.

Time meant nothing to a Dimensional Demon-God. As long as his dimension held together, he would never die.

Rome wasn't built in a day, right?

So he'd work on it bit by bit, each day making it better. The rest of his time? He'd still eat well, drink well, and enjoy life. No reason to suffer just because he was a god now.

Still, there was one important task he couldn't ignore.

Revenge.

The body he now occupied had once belonged to someone else—someone who'd been eaten by a monster. If Akio was going to live in this body without guilt, he had to settle that grudge.

Only by cutting off that karmic tie could he truly call this life his own.

With that thought, Akio stepped out of the Light Dimension and returned to the real world.

Ding-dong!

Just then, right on cue, the doorbell rang.

Akio blinked in surprise, walked to the entryway, and called out, "Who is it?"

A soft but pleasant voice answered from outside.

"Excuse me, is this Akio? I'm your homeroom teacher. I'm here for a home visit today."

"..."
