All the boss humans and three elite humans with classes were chosen by Gaia to create teams and venture into the outside world.Even though the plan was originally the human's they still wanted permission from Gaia.
Arther was exempt from this as someone powerful had to stay behind to defend Gaia's realm.The boss humans had first pick on who they could bring along.The ones they picked did have a choice on whether or not they wanted to go on that particular team.
The head priestress wanted to take all of the level 5 elite human shrine warriors with her.This was immediately shut down by Gaia as she didn't want too much disparity in how strong the teams were.Thus the 16 shrine warriors were allocated to each team.
Six of the teams got 2 shrine warriors each whilst the head priestress team got 4 shrine warriors.She felt a bit down but she found it acceptable.She then chose to have another three elite humans.They went by Jonathan,Dallas and Faye.
Jonathan was one of the newer elite humans but he had useful skills.He could regenerate and pull the suffering and torment of others into himself.He was basically a self healing empath of sorts.
Dallas was a singer of sorts and possessed a wide variety of buffing skills that he could activate via singing.He could also incite courage and empower skills with his singing.
Faye was another elite human who possessed the concealment skill and could make herself and others undetectable.She also possessed a skill that enabled her to make anything appear in her hand by looking at it.
The head priestress was the second to finish creating her team.The one who finished first was actually Derek who had a mix of elite humans and normal humans in his team.
Aside from the two shrine warriors he had chosen Joshua.Now the reason Gaia didn't let Joshua choose a team was due to the fact that he was more of a warrior then a leader and his skills affected his thinking.She also felt that he wasn't responsible enough for the task.
Needless to say Joshua was chosen by Derek as he had gotten a class in the battle with the orcs and was one of the most powerful elite humans.
Derek had also chosen Thomas a regular human who could send information and knowledge into the minds of anyone he knew and regardless of distance.Derek felt that Thomas was an excellent scout and could report any dangers to the other team leaders.
An elite human by the name of Priya was also chosen.She possessed skills such as epic rank entangle,solar beam and shapeshift mode:panther.Derek found her skills interesting and useful especially the entangle skill which could immobilise opponents.
Derek had also chosen Kye who had managed to evolve into an elite human from a regular human.Due to his accomplishments in the battle with the orcs Gaia had seen fit to empower and evolve Kye.His epic rank healing aura skill proved useful in keeping people alive.
Seeing Kye evolve from a regular human into an elite human was a surreal experience for all the humans and Gaia made sure to make a spectacle of it.
Now some of the stronger humans felt less like superior beings with the possibility that weaker humans could reach their level with merits.Although there were still divisions between different categories of rank but mostly between regular humans and bosses.
Another regular human by the name of Scott was also chosen by Derek.Scott possessed skills such as rare rank disguise,unremarkable opinion insertion and silver tongue.These skills were purely utilitarian based but Derek wanted to see if they could sneak into a population centre and wreak havoc.
Derek had made sure to properly look into the skills of the people he talked to and went over to.He especially chose to also put an interest in the regular humans as he felt there might be a few diamonds in the rough.He was delighted by Scott and Thomas and how useful they could be.
