Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: For the Glory of the Uchiha

"For the glory of the Uchiha clan!"

Uchiha Yoru's resolute voice echoed through the Uchiha Naka Shrine.

This scene made Uchiha Fugaku feel awkward, but he also secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Although it was for the sake of the clan, the Uchiha's pride made this kind of mission something he found difficult to accept or even mention.

"Fugaku, look at Yoru-kun. The clan will have to rely on you guys in the future."

When the Clan Head saw this, he gave his normally proud son a rare look of disapproval.

Uchiha Fugaku, however, stiffened and said in a deep voice:

"The clan will not forget Yoru-kun's sacrifice!"

At this moment, as he looked at Uchiha Yoru's appearance, Fugaku felt a rare awkwardness and secretly sighed in relief. It seemed that in this moment, his mature appearance was also an advantage.

Furthermore, it wasn't that he didn't work hard; it was just that some talents were inborn. He really couldn't compare to the other party in that regard.

Uchiha Yoru was wearing a pure white kimono and black pants. His chest was slightly open, revealing his captivating muscles. Dark arm guards covered his forearms and extended to his hands, and a black belt was tied around his waist, with a ninja straight sword tucked behind his back.

With his chiseled, handsome, and cold face and his tall, straight figure, this outfit made him look very imposing. His appearance was very similar to Sasuke in his "Hebi" (Snake) outfit.

More importantly, this entire outfit was put together by Uchiha Mikoto. The clothes were even brand new for this meeting with the Elder.

At this moment, Mikoto felt as if she had shot herself in the foot.

Seeing Uchiha Yoru's resolute expression, as well as his face and tall figure, which had captivated his granddaughter, Elder Setsuna couldn't help but nod in praise.

"Yoru, this is the best opportunity for the clan. The Third Hokage's actions over the past twenty years have already made the major clans dissatisfied. Otherwise, why would the Senju clan be protecting the next Nine-Tails jinchuriki in their compound?"

At this point, Elder Setsuna let out a rare cold laugh.

"Now, the White Fang's prestige is even overshadowing the Third Hokage's. This is partly due to the White Fang's strength, but it is also a result of the major clans fanning the flames. Even the Senju clan is dissatisfied with the Third Hokage's policies."

As he listened to Elder Setsuna's analysis of the relationship between the Konoha higher-ups and the major clans, Uchiha Yoru secretly frowned.

He didn't know if it was true or not, but a person in power (the Hokage) would naturally not want the noble clans in the village to be too powerful, even if that clan was the Senju.

First, Nawaki was accidentally killed in the Second Great Ninja War, then Tsunade's boyfriend died, and then the jinchuriki Kushina, who was with the Senju clan, was taken by the Hokage's faction.

It seemed that all these events revolved around the Senju clan.

Later, the White Fang was forced to his death, and after the Third Great Ninja War, the Senju clan seemed to have been forgotten.

It all pointed to one thing: the Senju clan had lost the political struggle.

Putting aside whether Tsunade had a conspiracy, it would have been impossible for the younger generation of Konoha ninjas to not even know the name of the Senju clan without the Third Hokage's scheming.

"More importantly, the White Fang is not from a ninja clan, which is why the Uchiha clan has an unspoken understanding with the other major clans."

In the face of Elder Setsuna's political "chicken soup," Uchiha Yoru, who saw the look Mikoto was giving him, knew he could have the best of both worlds. He immediately became motivated and solemnly said loudly:

"Clan Head, Elder, don't worry. I will do my best to get close to the next Nine-Tails jinchuriki, Kushina Uzumaki."

At this point, Uchiha Yoru discreetly glanced at Mikoto, and his mind analyzed all the information based on the plot he knew.

No wonder Mikoto had such a good relationship with Kushina. The Uchiha had a backup plan. More importantly, how was it that the Uchiha could get close to the Nine-Tails jinchuriki and be fine?

He suddenly realized that this was probably with the Senju clan's tacit approval. Of course, it also had to do with Kushina only being a trainee jinchuriki at the moment.

The major clans were currently united in their dissatisfaction with the Third Hokage's policies. No wonder the Third Hokage was so ruthless with these clans in the future. Not only the Senju and Uchiha clans, but even the Hyuga clan was not spared.

At this moment, Uchiha Mikoto, who had not spoken since entering the secret room, spoke up with a solemn expression:

"Clan Head, Elder, although Yoru-kun is under Captain Tsunade, he won't have many opportunities to get close to Kushina Uzumaki, and even with me there, it could arouse suspicion."

"However, Yoru-kun's newly awakened dual bloodline requires Captain Tsunade's treatment. This way, Yoru will have more opportunities to get close to Kushina through Captain Tsunade. But this cell stabilizer is extremely precious."

Uchiha Mikoto's serious expression made Elder Setsuna speechless. If he didn't know about his granddaughter and this kid's relationship, he might have actually believed this nonsense.

Uchiha Yoru, on the other hand, showed a look of gratitude. Mikoto's support was truly a blessing.

The Clan Head and Elder Setsuna looked at each other and gave a slight, almost imperceptible nod. This was also why they had Uchiha Yoru carry out this mission.

First, he had an outstanding appearance, and second, he had a reasonable and proper reason to get close to her.

"The clan will not mistreat any Uchiha clan member. Uchiha Yoru, the clan will provide you with funds for your medicine every month. I hope you will not let the clan's support go to waste!"

The saying "you have to feed a horse well to make it run fast" was an eternal truth. Moreover, this mission was so difficult, and it was hard to find an Uchiha with such a sense of self-sacrifice.

He also had to have a good appearance and talent, or he wouldn't even be qualified to take on this mission.

The Clan Head and Elder spoke generously without any hesitation.

Uchiha Yoru's expression became determined as he nodded, and he began to calculate in his mind.

This might be an excellent opportunity for him to make progress.

After coming out of the Naka Shrine, Fugaku's expression was clearly a bit awkward.

"Yoru-kun, this is a scroll for clan members who have awakened their eyes."

The Uchiha clan was very generous to its members who had awakened their bloodline, providing them with all kinds of resources.

Looking at the scroll in his hand, which clearly contained Sharingan usage techniques and training methods, Uchiha Yoru smiled and nodded.

"Thank you, Captain Fugaku."

Uchiha Fugaku, however, felt a bit awkward and even ashamed. It was clear that Uchiha Yoru had sacrificed a lot for the clan this time.

Thinking of this, he nodded solemnly.

"Yoru-kun, the clan will not forget you."

Uchiha Mikoto then spoke up appropriately, giving a gentle smile and nodding.

"Captain Fugaku, Yoru-kun's strength is not weak to begin with, and with the awakening of his Sharingan, both his chakra and physical body will enter a growth phase. I heard the clan recently purchased a lot of chakra metal."

She didn't finish her sentence, but her meaning was clear.

When Uchiha Yoru heard this, he gave a mental thumbs-up, but his face remained solemn as he raised his hand to stop Mikoto from continuing.

"Big Sister Mikoto, we are all for the sake of the clan!"

Seeing Uchiha Yoru's resolute appearance, Fugaku felt even more awkward and ashamed. He nodded, and although he didn't say anything, Uchiha Yoru knew his character.

It probably wouldn't be long before he would have a chakra metal weapon.
