Chapter 181 - Tony realizes poverty

In the empty conference room, Nick looked at Tony, Osborn, and the others who were seated in groups of two or three, a complex look flashing across his eyes. "Unknowingly, the original Heberon has grown into such a behemoth."

The giants like Osborn who had accepted the invitation clearly considered Heibo Lun to be on the same level as them, or even a higher level. This was certainly due to the support he and S.H.I.E.L.D. had provided him for a while, but the equipment and technology Luke had created were also key factors in Heibo Lun's smooth development to this day.

Aside from the so-called military equipment, medical devices, and virtual smart wearables, the longevity potion also brought in a large number of stakeholders for Heybollen. This was truly Heybollen creating a huge pie and handing it over to everyone to divide.

When Luke stepped onto the stage, the crowd, chatting privately, paused their conversations and turned their attention to Luke. Many in the room were drawn to Luke, the man who had founded Hyperion. However, compared to Tony Stark, the playboy who loved to attend various parties, Hyperion's leader, Luke Field, was at the other extreme. Except in the early days, he rarely appeared in public.

"I believe everyone can feel the drastic changes in the world," Luke said straight to the point. "In fact, in the not-too-distant future, the world will change even more dramatically than anyone here can imagine. Amidst this turbulent upheaval and change, some will inevitably fall behind, while others will be left behind and eliminated."

But as a benefit of accepting the invitation to come here, I would like to give everyone here a ticket to the future and to survival.

I know some of you will say I'm alarmist, but I won't argue. Let's take a look at some video footage."

As Luke spoke, the entire conference hall suddenly went dark, and then was replaced by a virtual image that was difficult to tell whether real or illusory, and was replaced by the Chitauri invasion battle that left a deep impression on the world.

Chitauri:

Race: Cyborg

Nature: Cruel and tyrannical. Since the earliest days of their existence, the juveniles have reveled in invasion and bloodshed. The most celebrated entertainment on their home planet is the slaughter of captives from various planets in a Colosseum-like hunting ground. Year after year, the spilled blood, under the unique environment of their home planet, has created a blood-red rainbow.

Civilization characteristics: Consciousness upload. The body is just a temporary shell that can be replaced.

The scene shifted, and as if the world had completely changed, Asgard's palace appeared, along with some scenery and residents from other realms. Finally, the scene landed on Thor, holding his hammer, fighting in the other nine realms.

Thor Odinson

Race: Asgardian Gods

Nature: A fighting race, their physical prowess at least three times that of humans. They were a powerful tribe and nation that once ruled the Nine Realms.

Civilization: Divine Power, Magic, Asgardian Technology]

The scene switched again, this time to a hell dimension burning with flames and darkness. The picture existed for a very short time, but the sense of despair and oppression was felt by everyone present in that brief moment.

"Hell Dimension, a strange dimensional world. Yes, it's what you think of it." Luke turned off the virtual projection and turned on the lights again.

"What do you want to tell us by showing this?" A bald man stood up from his seat, took a microphone that took shape out of thin air under Luke's gaze, and asked.

"A deal," Luke answered directly without holding back. "Hyperion has reached some kind of cooperation agreement with S.H.I.E.L.D., Asgard, and a lord from the Hell dimension. In short, Hyperion has developed a technology for mass-producing and forging specialized equipment. The lords of Asgard and Hell have placed a large order with Hyperion for materials and resources. Hyperion and S.H.I.E.L.D. are willing to license this technology to everyone present and share in this order. It's important to note that this is just the beginning."

"What do you want?" Norman Osborn also stood up from his seat. With his excellent business acumen, he easily saw the huge potential benefits involved.

"I want a technological boom," Luke said honestly, but Osborn and the others clearly didn't believe him. Osborn didn't press the issue further. He was eager to know the distribution of the information.

"The share and distribution of those resources and technology licenses..."

"Everyone here can obtain the technical license of Heberon. As for the allocation of resources, you can ask Director Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. He is specifically responsible for evaluating and managing this." Luke threw the burden directly to Nick who was sitting in a corner under the stage.

Nick immediately felt the gazes of many fiery people.

"I want to know what needs to be manufactured for this order?" Norman withdrew his gaze from Nick and looked at Luke on the stage and asked again.

"Of course, equipment," Luke shrugged. Technically, he had delivered most of the orders the demons had placed with Heberon. After all, time was tight and the task was demanding. He expected more and more similar orders in the future.

Luke didn't care about any of this, but he had to let Stark and the others play a role. For example, they could provide him with more new technologies and knowledge. At the very least, it could enrich Luke's technical database. At least, the [Source of Technological Concepts] Luke had invested in these people could be recouped.

In the next few hours, Luke answered one question after another. Finally, during a temporary break, Nick was swarmed by many people and blocked by them, while Tony, Dr. Banner, and Norman and a few others quickly blocked Luke who wanted to leave.

"I don't need your technical authorization, but I want to buy a batch of those materials." Tony and Banner have recently been obsessed with improving their authority within the data dimension. They have uploaded a lot of technology and each received a very generous new currency reward.

They also knew that Luke and Nick, along with the mages and Asgard, had recently come up with a new monetary system. Tony, in particular, had used his technology to capture even more information.

For example, how did poor Spider-Man suddenly become wealthy? Every month, his bank account receives a legal and compliant payment. The amount isn't large, but it's enough for Spider-Man and his aunt to live a comfortable and stable life.

All of this is because Spider-Man has some kind of channel to obtain new currency, and he converts the new currency he obtains regularly into real money and sells it to S.H.I.E.L.D.

At that time, the goods that could be purchased with the new currency were not open to the public, and even Tony Stark did not know the use of the new currency. But he knew very well that Luke and Nick would not waste their efforts.

"It depends on how much new currency you have." Luke was very straightforward, almost making his point clear.

"Dr. Banner and I have been making good progress in the data dimension lately, and we've made quite a bit of money," Tony said nonchalantly. If things really don't work out, it's just a matter of working harder for a few more days, creating more technology and throwing it into the data dimension to earn new currency. He could even bring Dr. Banner along.

"Data dimension?" Norman, who was listening quietly, grasped the word. He instinctively felt that it was a very important word. If he could figure it out, it would answer many of the questions in his mind.

Norman's voice made Tony aware of his presence. He raised his eyebrows and pointed at Nick who was surrounded by people: "I think you should go over there."

Norman glanced at Tony sternly and didn't respond to him. He knew very well that Tony was just trying to make trouble and he didn't intend to argue with him, so his attention was always on Luke.

"This was originally going to be introduced in the second half. You can think of it as the virtual data plane of the universe. For scientific researchers, its greatest role is to help them break free from the constraints of those instruments and the initial funding. As long as there is technology, it is enough to attract the favor and support of the data dimension." Luke looked at Osborn with a serious expression and explained.

"So, in the future, it will be difficult for pure capital to control those who master technology?" Norman sensed a sense of crisis from Luke's words. Thinking back to what Luke had said before, he couldn't help but feel a sense of urgency.

"It's just difficult to grasp to a certain extent. I believe Mr. Osborne will definitely master a new set of tricks soon. But no matter what, the future will be an era where technical geniuses are king. The data dimension saves you the process of verifying talents and verifying technology, and you can directly invest in successful people. After all, if they want to develop on a large scale, they still need the support of you, the resource allocators." Luke soothed Norman's inner sense of crisis.

"I think that's a good thing. Tech companies that lack technical expertise and rely solely on size and capital should be eliminated by newcomers. Only in this way can technology rapidly advance." Tony gloated. He wasn't afraid of this kind of competition. No matter what, Stark would still be a tech giant in the future. But for companies like Hammer Industries, the success was uncertain.

Several people followed Luke, each with their own thoughts, and arrived at the door of a metal warehouse. After Luke opened the door and everyone walked in, whether it was the excited Tony and Banner or the heavy-faced and absent-minded Norman, they all perked up.

"Is that your newest suit?" Tony's eyes were drawn to a dark red suit in front of him, flowing throughout and adorned with mysterious patterns. Compared to his Mark suit, this one was much more rugged and taller, with sharper edges and corners, and rivet-like spikes on the joints and limbs. The visor bore a face that looked incredibly arrogant. A fist-sized, purple gem-like crystal was embedded in the ribcage. The overall look was imbued with a blend of violence and gentle beauty.

"No, this is a Hell series battle suit, ordered by Mephisto." Luke shook his head to deny Tony's words and introduced.

"Looks good." Tony praised.

"Of course it's excellent. Mephisto provided me with a large amount of precious dimensional materials from Hell, and he had me craft it according to the specifications of a divine artifact. For now, this is just a semi-finished product," Luke said. According to Mephisto's specifications, this suit was to rival Odin's Destroyer Armor, and it was clearly lacking in some respects.

"Is this made of the dimensional material you mentioned?" Tony was curious and wanted to touch it, but Luke grabbed his arm and pulled him back.

"Although it is dormant now, it is best not to touch it without protection. You too, you can look at the things here, but it is best not to touch them easily." Luke gently reminded Tony and the others.

"Is there danger?" Tony was very interested, and Banner and Norman beside him also perked up.

"The materials produced in the Hell dimension are inherently dangerous. The materials used to create this armor come from some of Mephisto's collection. Although I have processed and treated the materials to a certain extent, and have taken filtering and protection measures here, if you touch them rashly, your spirit and soul may be absorbed into it and become the first soul imprisoned by this armor. Even if you are lucky enough not to be absorbed, your spiritual consciousness will be traumatized. You don't want to become a muddle-headed, stupid, and foolish person in the future, do you?" Luke explained patiently.

"Okay, okay, I will control my hands." Tony raised his hands, then his eyes swept across the Hell Armor and pointed his finger at a nearby piece of metal ore the size of a football.

"Urugold. One of Asgard's top-grade forging materials. It has excellent magical energy storage properties. It is one of the excellent materials for making artifacts. Of course, it is also an excellent material for making other equipment." Luke glanced at it casually and introduced it aloud.

"For sale?" Tony was immediately interested after hearing Luke's introduction. Ever since he learned about the existence of magic and other energies, he had been determined to create an anti-mage magic armor. However, the materials he had previously used weren't satisfactory.

"I'm afraid you can't afford it." Luke shrugged.

"Believe me, there is nothing that I, Tony Stark, can't afford." Tony was very unhappy when his money ability was questioned, and he looked at Luke with a hint of provocation in his eyes.

"No real currency. Just new currency," Luke pointed out.

"I happen to have some new currency, and Dr. Banner also has some. If it's not enough, I can borrow from him first." Tony said unwillingly.

"You might be able to ask Thor for some, but if you buy it from me, it will cost at least one thousand new currencies," Luke said.

"One thousand new currency? That's not expensive. I have at least eight thousand new currency in my hands." Tony smiled. But at Luke's next words, the smile froze on his face.

"I mean, one thousand new currency, one gram!"
