Chapter 197 - The Messenger of the Hive, the Sorrow of the Hydra

"It's not about control, but conversion! It's about integration!" Malik calmly straightened his clothes, smiled and retreated behind the person who came.

The mysterious figure wore a black robe, her dark green hair long and drooping below her waist. Her delicate face was pale, and she wore a cold smile. Particularly eye-catching was the unusual, octopus-like, Hydra-like pattern on her forehead.

"You all should know the origins of Hydra. It originated from the great God Hive! Hydra's original goal was to help God wipe out all his enemies and welcome his return." The woman's cold voice rang out in front of Pierce and the others. "Now God believes that the time for his return has come."

Pierce and the others looked at each other silently in secret. While being wary of each other, they also tacitly gave a signal of cooperation.

They did know some of the history of the Hive Hydra, and they also knew that their own branches of Hydra were able to rise up and survive despite continuous major blows. Ancient and wealthy families such as Malik made great contributions, but this did not mean that they were willing to trust a so-called stranger or God casually.

Even if Red Skull appeared in front of them now, they would not regard him as the absolute leader.

"Do you want to betray the organization?" Malik looked at the vigilant Pierce and others and threatened in a gloomy tone.

"It's you, Malik, who betrayed the organization! We represent the majority!" Pierce's face also turned cold. He was very dissatisfied with the current situation, and this dissatisfaction also extended to Malik.

"It doesn't matter. You can still represent the majority. Because what God represents is both one and ten thousand." A strange and weird smile appeared on the woman's face. She opened her red lips, and before anyone expected, several black shadows flew out of her mouth and pounced on Pierce and the others.

"Damn it!"

The moment the woman opened her mouth, Pierce felt a strong threat. At the moment of crisis, he subconsciously activated a silver ring on his right hand.

A layer of energy clothing instantly wrapped him up, protecting him while increasing his combat effectiveness.

The afterimage hit the energy suit, and the part of the energy suit that was hit swelled up instantly. From the front, it looked like a big meat bag, and the unknown afterimage was deeply embedded in the meat bag. Even though it looked like it was going to pierce the energy suit, it was still a layer short.

Black energy emanated from Madam Viper, a highly corrosive energy swirling around her like a thin, irregular spherical energy shield, blocking the incoming unknown afterimage. The black magic energy collided with the unknown afterimage, emitting a hissing sound.

Whitehall used some kind of ability to move himself from his original position to a safe place nearby. As for Baron Stark, most of his body turned into a machine. He stretched out his arms, and a thick metal shield blocked his way. There was a loud noise where the afterimage collided with the shield. Stark's arm trembled, but he still successfully blocked the afterimage.

"The communication is out of control. It seems that Malik was prepared." In the darkness, Whitehall put the communicator in his hand back into his pocket and said calmly.

In this situation, no one asked how he had brought the communicator into this private space where no equipment was allowed. If they insisted on pursuing the matter, no one would be able to escape.

"I'm fine. With the permissions I set in the data dimension, this shielding can't affect me. My subordinates will receive my alerts from the data dimension." Baron Stark retracted his shield, his voice having a metallic texture.

"My ring can also communicate to some extent," Pierce, wearing his energy suit, also said. He had already seen what was attacking him: a metallic, insect-like creature with a large, round belly and a sharp, slender mouthpart like a syringe. Pierce had no idea what it was, but it was clear that if it penetrated him, something bad would happen.

"You guys!" Looking at Pierce and the others who were showing off their skills, Malik's face turned visibly red, and his shriveled chest was heaving violently like a bellows. It was obvious that he was irritated by them.

The purpose of this meeting was to catch them off guard. According to the rules, they were not allowed to bring any communications or weapons for safety reasons. He thought it was foolproof. Even after the showdown, no matter how reluctant Pierce and his men were, they would not be able to cause any trouble with the presence of the messenger of God. However, he found that he had underestimated Pierce and his men.

"It seems that there are indeed some very interesting things on this planet." Looking at Pierce and others with different expressions, the woman called God's Messenger did not panic, and even her pale face did not change. She still had that cold expression that made people feel little warmth.

"Please allow me to do this. The Malik family has enough power to settle everything for God." Malik stepped forward and pressed the button. As a supporter of these Hydra branches, he was well aware of the power Pierce and his men wielded! If they couldn't completely subdue them in this meeting, the subsequent trouble and retaliation would be too much for the Malik family to bear if they were allowed to return.

Therefore, Malik had already made full preparations for this day to go all out. At this moment, the group of alien killers outside that Malik had carefully trained and strengthened by the messenger of God were the last trump card in his hand to suppress and threaten Pierce and others!

However, the embarrassing thing was that the two sides stared at each other for a few seconds, and everything outside was calm.

Malik took out the alarm button in his hand in confusion and pressed it again in full view of everyone.

A few more seconds passed, and still nothing happened.

Malik's expression was even uglier. He had guessed something major had happened outside, something he wasn't aware of. Otherwise, according to the established rules, the moment the alarm button was pressed, all the security guards and aliens in Malik's villa would immediately descend to act as a force to suppress the resistance of Pierce and his companions.

"It seems that yours doesn't work. Why don't you try mine?" Baron Stark seemed to have received some information. A slightly ferocious smile appeared on his half-metal face, and he clapped his hands lightly under Malik's angry glare.

Bang!

The basement door was completely opened from the outside. A young man poked his head in from outside. Looking at the two parties at loggerheads, the young man scratched his head and made way for the door.

"Who are you? Where are my people outside?" Malik, who had been calm before, finally couldn't control his emotions after being hit by a series of unexpected events. He was repeatedly humiliated in front of the messenger of God and was already a little hysterical and panicked.

Two men, enveloped in crimson energy, were thrown in from the doorway and fell to the ground. They tumbled like frantic beasts, ignoring the others as they tore at each other's flesh and blood, their weapons clutched in their hands, thrusting at each other's vital points without hesitation. Crimson blood flowed all over the floor.

A beautiful woman in a bright red dress strode in from outside.

"The Maximov brothers and sisters are my most proud creations." Baron Stark proudly introduced the man and woman who came in to everyone.

"Diwei, Ediko, what are you two doing?" Malik looked at the two men on the ground who were stabbing each other with knives like mortal enemies, his face pale.

"They're being controlled. Even the parasite of God has been affected." The divine messenger, who had always maintained a calm demeanor, finally showed a hint of surprise. He seemed surprised that there was any energy capable of affecting the parasite of God.

"Parasite? Looks like we made the right decision."

Pierce and the others had also heard the woman's words, especially the word "parasite," which touched a nerve. Pierce, in particular, knew that there were indeed some strange life forms on other planets that could parasitize humans and other organisms. Even S.H.I.E.L.D. had studied them.

Symbiote!

A parasitic race capable of forcibly controlling and even influencing human thought! Although they claim this influence is mutual, and the vast majority of their symbiotes are benevolent, with their own set of principles for mutual support and assistance with their hosts, this still cannot conceal their ability to temporarily parasitize and control a living being.

Pierce had already come to view that god as another parasitic alien creature, capable of coexisting with and controlling humans. Even in Malik's ancient legends, the god originated from this planet, but because he was too powerful, he was backstabbed and exiled to a planet elsewhere in the universe by humans and aliens who feared his power.

If they had been careless, they would have been directly controlled by this so-called messenger of God, becoming either puppets or brainwashed into fanatics. Pierce's conspiratorial mind could already imagine what kind of influence he could bring to the other party if he was controlled. The entire existing power of Hydra would become the power of this so-called god.

If he had no choice, and the other party was willing to maintain his clear will and independent thinking, he probably wouldn't mind cooperating with that god, as long as the other party could allow S.H.I.E.L.D. to completely control the world. I think Baron Strucker and the others would be the same.

But when there are better options and the effort and reward don't match, who would want to welcome a god back to their head? Especially when this so-called god, in their concept, is more like a powerful alien, similar to the Asgardians.

"Are you really unwilling to welcome God back? He will grant you endless power, a status second only to his own, as well as powerful abilities and a longevity! God can even share higher technology with you," the woman whispered.

"Catch her!" Baron Stark gave the order to the Maximov brothers and sisters in a clear and decisive manner.

Some sloppy young men left a trail of afterimages in an instant, and appeared beside the messenger of God and Malik like teleporting. Facing Malik's astonished gaze, he chopped him unconscious with a knife.

Just as he was about to repeat the same operation on the divine messenger, the divine messenger flashed strangely and appeared before the woman in the red dress guarding the door. Her slender, pale hand extended, and with a gentle push of her arm, a surging shockwave surged towards Wanda, who was standing in the way.

Wanda pushed her hands forward, and the red energy lingering around her body rushed forward like a wave, colliding with the woman's shock wave. After eliminating the destructive power and existence of the shock wave, it continued to rush towards the woman in robes without slowing down.

Another flash, and the robed woman appeared beside Whitehall. She suddenly held his head with both hands, her red lips slightly opened, and the parasitic seed like yellow sand turned into a yellow sand line, connecting to Whitehall's mouth.

Whitehall was filled with terror. He discovered that his Inhuman abilities had completely subsided after the other woman had touched him. He could no longer use any of the transplanted Inhuman organs, nor could he mobilize the Inhuman powers they had bestowed upon him. Like a petrified statue, he could only allow the robed woman to stuff the parasitic seed into his mouth and into his body.

"The Lord has the power to dominate the Inhumans. He is the God of the Inhumans." The robed woman let go of Whitehall's face and took two steps back.

"Attack!" Baron Stark felt his scalp tingle as he looked at Whitehall, who was becoming increasingly paler. His eyes gradually lost their liveliness, and he hurriedly and urgently gave the order to attack to Wanda and her brother.

The men brought by Pierce are still outside fighting against the aliens and the armed forces of the Malik family in the villa. Although these people are armed to the teeth with their own technology, they are far away from the front line of the battle after all. Even the attributes of researchers and politicians are greater than those of combatants.

"As the Lord's messenger, I also possess the ability to utilize some of God's power." The robed woman flashed again to Baron Strucker's side, where he had spoken, and gently slapped his hand against the metal shield he had erected. In full view of the crowd, Baron Strucker vanished.

"What did you do?" Pierce saw the look from the woman in robe and subconsciously took a step back.

"I'm just sending him to the Lord's planet to meet Him," the robed woman said devoutly. She had already unleashed a variety of rare and powerful Inhuman genetic abilities, including shockwaves, teleportation, parasitism, and object teleportation. While a single ability might seem intimidating to the audience, they wouldn't have taken it too seriously. But when these abilities converged, everyone present felt a tingling sensation.
