Chapter 216 - Epilogue, Aftermath, and a Rest

"Is he dead?" Loki asked hesitantly, watching the Dark Warrior disappear through the door. After not seeing him for a while, he felt that Luke seemed even more terrifying. Even if he and his brother had joined forces, they might not have been able to defeat such a powerful Dark Warrior in such a short time.

"He's not dead, but I think after a while, he must be wishing he were dead." Luke said something that left Loki and the others confused.

"I'll go help Tony." Thor picked up his hammer, looked at Hulk who had the upper hand and was about to win, and turned his gaze to Tony Stark on the other side.

If Tony were to defeat the Minotaur alone, it would probably take more time. Thor thought he should go over and help, to defeat the opponent as soon as possible, and then discuss the compensation with Luke.

Dario, who had transformed into a minotaur, had eyes that glowed red with anger, and his strength continued to increase.

A portal appeared out of thin air, and a doctor with a sour face and a fat wizard king walked out of the portal.

"Oh my god, what's going on here? Is a world war coming?" Stephen Strange, who had just walked out, was stunned by the messy battlefield before he could say anything. He knew whose territory this was, so he was even more surprised to see this scene.

"Supreme Lord! Has the Dimensional Demon invaded?" The Mage King's eyes widened in disbelief. He even rubbed his eyes with his fingers and scanned his surroundings again. The remaining flames and ruins were still vivid in his mind.

Luke's hometown was raided?

This is as serious an event as the Supreme Sorcerer's residence being blown up!

The Mage King almost turned around and went back to summon the Ancient One. He felt that since the enemy could destroy Luke's territory into such a state, he and Stephen would most likely be defeated for nothing.

The Mage King really thought so, if he hadn't noticed Luke's figure with his sharp eyes.

"What happened here?" Stephen also saw Luke and slowly floated to Luke's side under the power of his magic cloak. Now that he had magic, he became more and more lazy and more dependent on magic.

It's really useful.

"Haven't you seen it?" Luke raised his chin towards the ruins in the center of the park.

"That's why I'm surprised. You'll never see such a day again." Stephen gloated a bit. Seeing Luke's nonchalant expression, his clever mind had already guessed something. But regardless, he was sure that everything was safe and nothing terrible had happened. So he could let Luke joke around.

"Isn't this Loki from Asgard? How come he is here?" The Mage King also came over. He was surprised to see Loki slowly standing up from the ground.

"It's a long story." Loki glanced at Luke and found that he had no intention of answering for him. He rubbed his chest, which felt a little stuffy from being pressed, tilted his head and pouted.

"Have the enemies been dealt with? You might not know this, but the Sanctuary's alarm system kept going off. We thought it was the followers of some demon god from some other dimension causing trouble again." The Mage King said, looking at Loki suspiciously. "Are you bringing your men to invade the atrium again?"

Loki was choked by the words of the Mage King and simply kept silent and pretended to be dead.

"Stop trying to escape with your tricks. I don't think they'll work. You'll have to face it sooner or later." Luke said suddenly, looking at the empty area on the side.

"What are you facing?" In the area that Luke was staring at, Loki with a grim expression slowly emerged from the air. The figure of Loki in the original area turned into a ball of bubbles and quickly disappeared from everyone's sight.

"Facing your majestic father, your loving mother, your doting brother, and the bills I haven't yet paid out." Luke said with a sardonic smile.

Then Loki's face became even uglier.

"The alarm can be lifted. The situation is currently stable and harmonious." Luke turned to Stephen and the others and said, "Of course, if there are still any threats that have been missed, you can act according to the Supreme Master's rules. I don't mind."

"You call this stable?" Strange looked at the ruins in astonishment, then looked at the fierce battle between Hulk and Stark, and the light and dark giants standing behind Luke on his left and right like bodyguards, walking with heavy steps and looking not easy to mess with. He was a little dazed.

Even your hometown was bombed, but you are so calm and even a little happy. Is this true?

I don't understand!

"Ahem, Mage Stephen, that minotaur has been using the power of a totem too recklessly. Let's go and deal with him." The Mage King pulled Strange's arm and dragged him towards Stark's battlefield.

The Tauren were one of their targets.

According to the alarm level, there should have been a more terrifying energy fluctuation, but after approaching, he didn't sense it. That must mean Luke had already dealt with it. He wanted to finish things here quickly and get back to his business. He had taken Strange away because he was afraid he might get venomous and start a fight with Luke. After spending so much time together, he knew full well that Strange's personality wasn't pleasant, though he didn't dislike him.

Anyway, all in all, this chaotic, terrible, yet fruitful night is finally over.

The attack on the Hebolun Industrial Park was such a major event that it naturally dominated the headlines of major media outlets. Of course, a certain flamboyant figure was also a factor.

For the media, Tony Stark's presence in the battle ruins was no surprise. After all, in Metropolis, wherever there's a major event, he's always there. He's also a high-profile figure, and Stark has various connections and collaborations with Hebron. Since they couldn't interview Luke and Ina from Hebron, Stark naturally took the lead.

Luke is now in Stark's building. He listed a bill, a bill that made Thor and Loki look pale, especially Loki, whose knees were weak and shaking.

The two men, looking embarrassed, argued with Luke for half the night. After all, they weren't normal people, so going without sleep for a few days was not a big deal. Dr. Banner sat on the sofa nearby, somewhat listlessly, listening to the three men's back-and-forth for half the night, his eyes almost sleepy. Hulk had a good time, but he left quickly. He was a little exhausted.

As for Mr. Dario, he had been banished to an unknown location by the Mage King and his companions through a portal because he had used the power of a totem demon without permission. He was definitely not on this planet, and there was no guarantee that he was still in this universe.

Finally, with Thor and Loki both breathing a sigh of relief, sweating profusely, and with expressions of having survived a disaster on their faces, the issue of Luke's compensation finally came to an end.

Although Thor and Loki still felt a surge of pressure looking at the bill, they felt relieved when they thought about the one Luke had listed first. They knew that Luke's initial bill must have been exorbitant, and this one was definitely higher than he had expected. However, the brothers were in the wrong and were indeed struggling to cope with Luke.

Especially since Luke was so sincere in making further concessions, reducing the bill to one-tenth, even they felt a little embarrassed to reduce it further. Even though it was only one-tenth of the original bill, it was still a number that made the brothers tremble with fear.

But at least it includes the cost of the [High-Dimensional Space Core Device], which is a bit of psychological comfort.
