Chapter 227 - I asked you to help, not to tear down the house

A shadow fell over everyone's heart, as if something terrible would happen in the next moment. The creatures on the planet seemed to realize this as well, and they frantically and aimlessly ran away from their own territories.

Just when everyone was panicking, the planet suddenly stopped for a moment.

In that instant, countless creatures were lifted off the ground by the planet's inertia, being thrown uncontrollably high into the sky. Some unfortunate creatures near the planet's equator were even thrown directly out of the planet's atmosphere at supersonic speeds.

Trees snapped, rubble flew into the air. Everything seemed to be spring-loaded, being flung skyward. Suddenly, the entire planet's sky was filled with a dense mass of bizarre debris.

In a mere instant, the planet resumed its rotation. Countless creatures, flung skyward, were involuntarily drawn to the ground, clattering and tumbling to the ground like rain. Countless casualties were reported, and even many of the more fragile were reduced to a bloody mess. Others collided with the surrounding debris and trees as they fell, leaving them nearly dead.

Creatures with the power of flight were not safe in this wave. They were thrown out of the sky involuntarily throughout the whole process. Even if they were lucky enough not to be thrown out of the atmosphere, many of them were unable to control their bodies when they were caught off guard and were hit by objects flying into the sky one after another, crashing to the ground.

An unprecedented super hurricane formed in an instant, roaring and sweeping away everything in its path.

The continental plates made terrifying noises, volcanoes began to erupt, and avalanches occurred in the icebergs and snowfields in the cold polar regions.

The Dark Alliance, already panicked by the appearance of the dimensional void, was quickly and efficiently wiped out by this wave. Their physical fitness was indeed much superior to that of the mortals in the atrium, but not enough to allow them to face such a disaster head-on. Almost in a state of shock, they were involuntarily thrown thousands of meters into the air by inertia, and before they could even comprehend what was happening, they were dragged back to the ground.

Most of them could only scream instinctively between the ups and downs, or fall to the ground, dizzy and with broken bones, or be swept away by the sudden super hurricane, along with a pile of messy debris.

There were angels in the sky who managed to control their bodies, but many of them were confused and were swept away by the sudden hurricane before they realized anything, and disappeared in the wind.

earthquake.

tsunami.

Landslide.

The ground cracked.

The planet seemed to be entering its doomsday, with various disasters occurring frequently. The ecological environment was almost completely destroyed in an instant, and countless species were killed or wounded.

The Dark Alliance was completely wiped out in this wave.

Of course, the Blud subspecies Luke had created wasn't much better. Although they had stronger vitality, they were also completely shattered by this planetary disaster and scattered across the planet.

Of course, there were also many unlucky people who were thrown directly into the dimensional void opened in the sky the moment their bodies lost weight and flew into the air, and disappeared inside.

Dark elves, fire giants, frost giants, angels, brud subspecies, native creatures of the planet, plus some miscellaneous ores, trees, etc.

The magma under the ground spread to the surface in this wave of disaster, and high-temperature lava flowed everywhere, like blood in human veins.

Woo!

The strong wind circulating inside the planet made a whistling sound, as if some unknown and huge life was speaking a language that no one could understand.

"Damn it, what on earth did you do!"

Sensing the profound and drastic changes taking place on the planet, Malekith looked at Light Luke with an almost furious expression, cursing uncontrollably. His soldiers were nearly wiped out at that moment. Even if the survivors were elite, and even if he ultimately won the battle, the victorious Dark Elves would need a long time to recover.

But can he win this battle?

If Guang Luke hadn't shown up, he would have been the ultimate winner.

He still believed it until Guang Luke took action.

But after the Queen of Heaven was defeated, Algrim appeared, and Guang Luke displayed a powerful and strange fighting ability, at this moment, the faith in his heart has been constantly shaken, and even his confidence has begun to crumble.

He didn't want to continue this war that seemed doomed to fail.

Especially now, this planet is no longer suitable for use as a battlefield. Natural disasters are everywhere, and the entire planet is in a state of rapid development, becoming increasingly unsuitable for biological survival.

Just like the decisive battle with Asgard thousands of years ago, he wanted to hide again and wait for the next opportunity to arise.

However, Algrim had no intention of letting him leave. The changes in the surrounding environment were meaningless to him. His goal remained the same, which was his former king Malekith.

Persisting relentlessly at the hands of such a rabid foe, Malekith's mind began to fray. Victory was no longer within his grasp, his men had suffered heavy losses, and he couldn't escape. The planet's environment was so harsh that he was forced to use aether particles to create a protective shield around himself.

With every approach and collision, his mind and emotions spiraled toward explosion. He knew his current state of mind was not right, and he knew the source of this was the power projected from the dimensional void in the sky, from Algrim, who was constantly entangled with him, and even from Light Luke, who had caused all this and stood by, watching with no idea what he was planning.

But knowing is knowing, realizing is realizing, and without being able to deal with his own mental problems, Malekith can only try his best to use his strong willpower to control the speed at which his spirit slides into the abyss.

Even at this moment, his head had begun to speak in those maddening and chaotic babblings again, and even his body had begun to slightly deform.

"What the hell did you do?" A magnificent rainbow light fell beside Luke. As the rainbow light faded, Odin, clutching his spear Gungnir, revealed his figure. He was now gazing solemnly at the flat pots around him, shielding himself with divine power as he asked Luke in surprise.

I asked you to come here to help, but I didn't ask you to demolish the house directly!

Odin almost lost his temper. He didn't know what Luke had done, but the planet was clearly undergoing some terrifying changes. It was as if it had entered the end of its lifespan.

In general, Odin, currently the Lord of the Nine Realms, was unwilling to witness this scene. It was merely a starburst, a simple feat for Asgardian technology. With a high output power, the Rainbow Bridge could become a star-destroying weapon.

But Odin would never do this unless it was absolutely necessary. This would damage the foundation of the World Tree! It would reduce and disrupt the energy cycle of the Nine Realms!

He had already paid a heavy price for exiling the Kingdom of Heaven in his rage.

Even though Luke now has a new energy source, it doesn't mean Odin is willing to give up the energy of the World Tree. Moreover, Asgard occupies the majority of the energy of the Nine Realms, but Luke's energy needs to be shared with many partners.

If this planet were destroyed, the energy cycle of the Nine Realms would undoubtedly collapse further, becoming even more fragile. Conversely, as the Lord of the Nine Realms, and assuming divine duties, he would also suffer a corresponding backlash. Perhaps Odin's slumber, weakened by the new energy, would return with even greater force.

However, Luke Guang is not Luke. He is a silent executor and cannot answer Odin's questions.

The yellow sand and toxic magma fog completely changed the environment and topography of the planet. The endless storm carried a huge amount of yellow sand and gravel and moved forward persistently.

Asgard's Heimdall had sensed the danger, and immediately after the transformation, he activated the Rainbow Bridge and pulled back the surviving Asgardians. This included Loki, who Thor had lifted with one arm and thrown directly into the falling Rainbow Bridge. He himself spun Mjolnir, following his father's aura, and launched himself outward. The hammer propelled him forward at hypersonic speeds.

"This place is doomed. He's created a monster he can't control! We must leave this place first! Odin!" Malekith's voice, wrapped in etheric energy, transmitted into Odin's ears at a unique energy frequency. This was a sound that only those familiar with etheric energy could hear.

Odin, who hadn't received a response from Luke, suddenly realized that this was just one of Luke's creations. Although he didn't believe Luke had no way to obtain real-time information about the battlefield's situation and changes, he was helpless in the face of Luke's silent, refusing to communicate creation.

Malekith's call made Odin look over with concern. When Odin saw Malekith's current appearance, he subconsciously frowned.

Malekith's current state was far from perfect. His demeanor and mental fluctuations clearly indicated he was on the verge of collapse. The black liquid seeping from Algrim's body, like a living being, fragmented into black fragments, constantly transforming into various biological forms and pouncing on Malekith. Their frantic movements were as if Malekith were a delicious cake, a delicacy they had been craving.

Many parts of his body were stained with this black liquid, some of which had become as tightly clung to Malekith as skin, and any attempt to tear it off would involve tearing off flesh and blood. However, this was only a temporary solution. Much of Malekith's flesh had lost its reddened skin, clearly where he had torn it off. But the flesh still clung to the black within, spreading like a toxin into the surrounding flesh and organs, reorganizing itself into a new skin like a cancer.

Even the etheric energy, facing the black liquid that had become indistinguishable from its host, was unable to recognize it. Even the etheric energy that Malekith controlled, which was flowing towards the area eroded by the black liquid, was swallowed and transformed by the continuously surging black liquid in the tug-of-war, forming an even darker energy.

Malekith could call upon this energy, and he could sense its terrifying and dangerous nature, even using it to imprison Algrim. But each time he used this energy, he felt his connection to the sky dimension grow stronger. The more energy he used, the more powerless he became to resist that dimension's desire and capture of him.

Countless black liquids poured out from the holes and continued to gather into black rivers, washing away and devouring everything they were interested in, most of which rushed towards him.

Malekith had already realized from previous tests that the reason these black liquids were so obsessed and fanatical about him was not because of him, but because of the ether particles parasitic in his body!

In other words, the ether particles are what they need! He, Malekith, is just a pollution solution in the process of hunting for ether particles.

This isn't to say that Malekith isn't powerful, it's just that he is.

Malekith's body is now a battlefield.

This was a war between the ether particles and the black liquid! He simply happened to be the host of the ether particles, and his body became the battlefield between the two sides. Of course, another way of putting it was that he had become the target of the two energies' competition.

He can be said to be their master, but only after he makes a choice between the two energies.

If he chose the ether particles, his mind and body might completely collapse in the next moment in the seemingly endless energy confrontation; if he chose the black liquid, he would be able to accommodate and use both powers, but perhaps his mind and body would end up like Algrim, unable to control his own actions, and even his consciousness would be polluted to the point of being unable to think.

The former is a road to death.

The latter is a path where the body may survive but the spirit may perish forever.

Malekith didn't want to choose any path now. He just wanted to leave here and search the universe for a solution to his physical problems. If that didn't work, then he might have to give up the Aether completely, drive it out of his body, and try his best to survive.

Rumble!

Before Odin could speak, a stronger tremor erupted, accompanied by a massive crack that spread across the ground beneath their feet like a vine. Everyone was instantly bound by a powerful force and thrown into the air.

Malekith and Odin, as well as Luke and Thor and others, could have broken free from the restraints, but they did not act, and they were thrown directly out of the atmosphere.

A huge eye made of a black hurricane appeared on the surface of the planet's atmosphere. The huge eye, which occupied nearly one-tenth of the planet's area, stared at them, and crazy pollution rushed towards them from the eye.

After Malekith felt the giant eye appear, his connection to that space became even stronger. His internal organs and limbs itched, and strange changes occurred under the eye's gaze. He didn't dare stay there for even a second longer. He used the energy of the ether particles at all costs, enveloping himself, and fled into the depths of the universe.

The farther away from this planet, the farther away from this eye, the better!
