Heaven's God of Faizi Tian
Episode 5: Awakening of the Divine Flame
Silence filled the ruined land where laughter once echoed. Only ashes remained. The Faizi Syed Ancient Sect, once a peaceful corner of the continent, had become a field of broken dreams. Yet beneath the cursed soil, something still lived.
Faizi Tian lay unconscious under the rubble of his childhood home. His body was crushed and bleeding, motionless. But his soul was burning.
Inside the darkness of his mind, a small flame flickered.
"You are not dead yet… you are chosen."
A voice, ancient and divine, echoed in his heart. Golden light surrounded him. The blood on his chest began to glow, and from within it, an invisible flame surged upward, healing wounds and repairing his broken body.
His eyes opened slowly. A golden-red light burst out like fire escaping a sealed furnace. He was alive.
But something inside him had changed.
He felt it in his breath, in his heartbeat. The world looked different now. He could hear the whispers of the wind, the heat beneath the earth, the pain of the trees, and the silence of the ashes.
Slowly, he stood among the ruins of his home. The place where his mother once smiled, where his father trained him, was gone. Yet he could still feel their flames burning within his soul.
Looking toward the destroyed gate of the sect, he whispered, "I will rebuild everything. I will burn down every demon who caused this."
As he stepped forward, the ground cracked with energy. A hidden formation awakened beneath the soil. Ancient flame symbols lit up in a circular pattern under his feet.
From the center rose a stone platform. On it rested an old scroll.
It was the first divine flame technique of the Faizi Syed Ancient Sect, meant only for the heir of the sect master. The master was gone. Only Faizi Tian remained.
He reached for the scroll. The moment his fingers touched it, fire surged through his veins. His body trembled as visions of ancient flame battles flashed before his eyes.
The technique was called *Flame Soul Breathing*.
A foundation skill—yet for Faizi Tian, it became the start of something greater.
He sat cross-legged, letting the flame circulate through his damaged meridians. Each breath drew fire from the air, and each exhale spread heat around him.
Hours passed.
By the time the sun fell behind the mountains, Faizi Tian had stepped into the Ember Root Realm. His first cultivation breakthrough.
But unlike others, he did not celebrate. His eyes opened in silence. His heart was not filled with joy—it burned with vengeance, sorrow, and purpose.
"I will rise," he said, standing before the broken gate.
"I will make them pay. I will rebuild this sect. And I will become the god of flame this world has never seen."
That night, the ruins glowed with fire once again. But this time, it was not destruction.
It was the beginning of his rise.
