Chapter 29 - Chapter 29-The Smile of the Devil

Darkness. That was the first thing Kael felt.

Then cold, Then pain, Slowly… very slowly… his eyes opened.

At first his vision was blurry. The light above him was weak, yellow, and flickering. His head throbbed. His body felt heavy, like it didn't belong to him, He tried to move.

Nothing happened. A sudden sharp pain stabbed his ankles . He looked down, Rope.

Thick rope was wrapped tightly around both his wrists and his ankles. His arms were tied to the sides of a large bed, his legs spread and trapped. The mattress under him was rough and smelled strange, not like his home, not like any place he knew.

"W-What…?" his lips trembled. His breath started to shake. His heart began to race.

Panic.

He tried again, harder this time. The rope cut into his skin. It didn't move even a little.

"No… no… no…" His chest tightened. His throat burned. He turned his head and looked around the room. The walls were dark. The curtains were closed. There was only one dim light hanging from the ceiling. The room felt empty, silent, wrong.

This was not his room. This was not his house. He was not safe. Tears filled his eyes. He lowered his head and began to cry.

Quiet at first. Then harder. His shoulders shook. His breath broke between sobs. His mind screamed questions.Where am I?Who brought me here? What is the place he is .many things start to come in her mind .

Then—Click. The sound of a door opening.

Kael froze. His heart stopped for one terrifying second. Footsteps entered the room. He didn't look up. He pretended he heard nothing. He kept his head down and cried even harder. Two men walked inside.

One was tall, broad, and covered in tattoos. Kael recognized him instantly. This was the man who had made him breathe that strange smell… the man who had taken him.

The second man was shorter and ugly. His face was sharp, cruel, and full of something dark and unpleasant. The way his eyes moved over Kael made Kael's skin crawl.

The ugly man laughed quietly.

"Well… well… brother," he said slowly. "Where did you find such top-class beauty?"

He walked closer to the bed, looking at Kael like an object. "If you get tired of him… will you give him to me?"

The tattooed man scoffed. "He's not here for that," he replied coldly. "There are special orders. We are not allowed to touch him. I don't want any mistake. Understand?"

He turned and stared at the ugly man with warning in his eyes. The ugly man clenched his jaw. He didn't like it. But he nodded."I understand," he muttered.

Still… his eyes remained fixed on Kael with greed. Kael heard every word. His body shook. Fear crawled through his veins like ice. Seeing his reaction, the tattooed man smiled faintly. "What a pity," he said to Kael. "You really chose the wrong person to anger, little thing."

Kael swallowed and lifted his face just a little.

"P-Please…" he whispered between sobs. "Let me go… I don't even know you. I haven't done anything. Why did you bring me here? Where am I?"

The ugly man laughed again. "This is the Night High Club," he said. "Private room. Very expensive. Very special." He leaned closer. "And very soon… many people will come. Just for you." Kael's world stopped.

His face turned pale. His eyes widened in horror.

More tears spilled down his cheeks. "No… please… please don't do this…" he cried. "What did I do, Why are you doing this to me, Let me go… I beg you…" The two men looked at each other. Then they laughed.

Loud, Cruel.

The tattooed man took out his phone and made a call. "Bring the others," he said.

After some time, the door opened again.

More men entered. Kael's breath became short. His chest hurt. His body felt weak.

The door closed, Click, Locked.

Kael cried harder. He struggled against the ropes until his wrists burned and his throat hurt from screaming.

"Please… please don't hurt me… please…"

But none of them cared. Some watched with interest, Some smiled , Some laughed, One of them spoke in a mocking voice, "Don't worry. We'll take very good care of you."

Another added, laughing, "Relax. Enjoy a little."

Kael shook his head wildly."No… no… no…"

The room felt smaller. The air felt heavy. Too many people. Too many eyes. His body started to tremble. He lowered his head. His sobbing slowly became quiet. Silence filled the room. They thought he had accepted what was coming.

Then…

Kael slowly lifted his face. His eyes were still wet with tears. But his lips curved into small, soft smile. The room went quiet. They froze.

Kael looked at them with innocent eyes and spoke gently, "You won't torture me… right?"

"You won't hurt me… right?"

They exchanged confused glances. One of them replied quickly, "No… of course not."

Another nodded. "We'll be gentle." The tattooed man frowned. "Stop wasting time," he said. "Do what we came here to do." The ugly man laughed and moved closer to Kael.

"Why so serious, He's so delicate. What could go wrong " He reached out his hand.

And the moment he touched Kael and The moment his fingers brushed Kael's skin—

The man's eyes widened in pure shock.

His hand froze in the air. His face turned white.

"W-What—" he tried to speak, but his voice broke. Suddenly he clutched his chest.

Hard. As if something inside him had exploded. He staggered backward. His knees gave out. And he crashed to the floor.

The sound echoed in the room. Kael's head remained slightly tilted. His small smile didn't change. Blood slowly spread beneath the man's body.

The others stared in horror. "What the hell "

"What did you do to him?" "Get up!" The fallen man didn't move. Another stepped closer, panic rising. Before he could even touch him— His breath hitched. He grabbed his throat. His eyes rolled back. And he collapsed too. Panic erupted. "Something's wrong, Move away from him, Don't touch the boy!" But it was already too late. One by one… they fell. Some clutched their chest.

Some gasped for air. Some collapsed without a sound. Within seconds, the room became silent again. Bodies lay scattered across the floor. Blood soaked the carpet.

Only one person was still sitting there smiling Kael.

The tattooed man stood frozen near the door, staring at the scene in terror.

"What… what you do to them , what are you " he whispered his eyes full in horror and shock .

Kael slowly lifted his head. His eyes were calm.Empty, without emotions dark he look at her like he looking at already dead person tattoo man termible first time he regret why he accept this job to kidnap .

He looked at the tattooed man and smiled.

The man's heart dropped into his stomach.

"You're… you're a monster…"

He turned and ran for the door. But he had taken only three steps when his body suddenly locked. His eyes widened. His face twisted in fear. He collapsed just like the others. Silence returned. Kael watched him fall. Then he calmly pulled his hands free from the ropes. He stood up. Straightened his clothes. Walked to the door. Locked it from outside. And left the room… humming softly, as if nothing had happened.

The cool night air brushed his face as he stepped outside the club. The noise of the city surrounded him.Cars , Music, Laughter.

Life going on.

Kael walked down the street. As if a room full of bodies didn't exist behind him. Lost in thought. Then— thump. He bumped into someone. "Oh— I'm sorry," Kael said quickly. He looked up. And froze. The man in front of him was tall… extremely handsome.

Broad shoulders. Narrow waist. Sharp jaw.

Blue eyes like deep water. Soft white hair that shone under the streetlight.

They stared at each other for a moment.

The man's eyes slowly traveled over Kael.

Small frame.Delicate facial features, Soft black hair, Brown eyes, Long eyelashes.

Pale face, pouty lips somehow he found cute .

Kael blinked. "S-Sorry… I didn't see where I was going." The man smiled. A gentle, warm smile. "It's okay." Kael's breath caught. The smile was… beautiful. The man's phone rang.

He glanced at it, then back at Kael.

"Take care," he said softly, and walked away while speaking on the phone. Kael stood there, watching him go. Then he shook his head and laughed quietly. "What was that…"

He turned and started walking toward home.

But his smile slowly faded. His eyes darkened. His hands clenched. "Whoever planned this…" he whispered, "whoever is behind my kidnapping…" A dangerous smile touched his lips.

"I will find you And when I do… I will turn your life into hell you will regret the day why you born just wait"

He walked on, unaware— Across the road, a black BMW was parked. Inside it sat the same man. Watching him. The man's lips curved into a slow smile. "Interesting…"

The driver in the front seat felt a chill run through his body.

Whenever his master smiled like that…

Someone's fate was about to change.

He pressed the accelerator.

And the car disappeared into the night.
