They call it the cleaner
An entity, soo classifed nobody knows them
They born from a string
A special string
Everytime a story end, their fate is cut
To mark the end of one story and the beginning of the next
And sometimes
This cutting job, left a residue
Who then, gets recycled
Given will, given body, and given soul
They are the cleaners
The guardian of fate
Ironic really
A string of fate, guarding a string of fate
And this cleaners, are known by many names
The most common, "plot armor"
How the hero grow, how they rise and how they fall
And how they become the beacon of hope
The cleaner is the reason
They nurture, they guard, and they test
So that the hero of this world, or any world, can overcome the adversary and wins
So the fate can go at its course and then be cut, when happy ending arrived
And then u ask
How is bad ending happened then ?
Interesting question really.
So ask urself
Is bad ending.... really bad ending
Or ..... u just shown, at different prespective
Back at it
So cleaners
Every cleaner born with a companion
To make it easy, we called it a system, their mission board
To track the string of fate, and transmit command form their "higher up"
And this..... companion, is not sentient
They are exist as form of communication, and to make sure that cleaners do their job properly
The cleaners, are born strong
They born with power soo strong, they can crash a planet with bare hands
And their companion, act as sort of restraint
So that their power, can't exceed certain threshold, and end up destrying the world their string supposed to guard
Thats it for the cleaners
Back at our main character
------------------
An endless space of cosmos
Everywhere u look, only an endless black plain of nothingness
A darkness.... soo deep and encient no light can touch it
Its been like this for thousands and thousands of years
Nothing move, cause nothing is supposed to move
Then ..... for once, something stirred
a dark portal appeard, followed by a humanoid creature stepped out of it
"Idrina, give me my report"
Says the man, with voice soo bored,u believe the next day, he'll kim himself
Thats its for other people
But for his interlocutors..... a poem
" Mission succesfull, the fate follow its course... perfectly. You are the best, my love"
"Thats good"
He says, with a smile, small but meaningfull
"Next mission please"
The man says, his thought devoid of rest
"Yes..... my love"
The voice stirred, sweet as wine
"Wait"
The man said, picking up something
"Did something happend ?"
He ask, curious
Knowing the cat out of the bag, idrina, reluctantly, answered
"Its just..... can u.. rest a bit ?"
She said
Ahhh.... concerns
He thought
Ever since he got idrilla, he know she is different
Cause the "mission board" is not supposed to be sentient
An anomaly
Honestly, he doesn't know it's good ar bad thing
Its been a millenia tho
"Its must be good"
He thought
"What is?"
Idrilla ask, confused, and clearly doesnt want to be left out
"Nothing"
He says
"Its just.... rest is soo... mortal like"
The man said
"You are soo mortal like"
"That's rare... and thank you"
Said idrilla, her tone become sweeter every interaction
"Dear.... next mission please"
The man said, now serious
"Sigh...okay..Your next mission is in world C5692"
She answer, surrendering, she's been telling him to rest a thousand tImes already
"Details?"
He demands
"Picking up mission details...."
Silent, a rare occurance
"Failed"
"Wha... Idrina are u broken"
The man ask,
"Transporting to next world....."
,"Wait idria... u okay"
"Hey...."
The man says, confusion slowly crippling around him
"Error ... error ... error"
The women voice repeating
Growing monotone every second
"Error... Error.....error"
"Error.....error...error"
"Error ...error....error"
The sentence keep repeating
Minutes, hours, days
No way to tell
Confusion grow, now become enxiety
This was not supposed to happen
"Something very .. wrong" he tought
His brain, thinking non stop, trying to solve the clueless puzzle called "error"
Then after an unknown of time, and repeating sentence
One word come out
"Terminating"
It says
Then .... all hell broke loose
