Sylvia walked over to the door and slammed it shut again, leaving the two of them alone in the room.
The sudden sound made Damian's already heightened sense of hearing become even more alert.
His fingers tightened around the armrest of the wheelchair as his expression hardened beneath his dark shades.
"And what exactly do you think you are doing?" he asked, his voice low and cold.
'It can be she thinks she could get violent and rampant because I can't see right?'
But contrary to her thoughts…Sylvia had merely shrugged totally calm and unfazed her confidence spilling off the charts.
Even his displeasure did not bother her in the slightest. "I just think there are a few things we need to get straight…"
Damian's brow knitted together behind his dark shades as he listened to her surprisingly confident voice.
"And why do I have to listen to you?" he asked, clearly unwilling to back down.
'When had it ever become her turn to speak to him in such a manner?'
