Chapter 81 – Bold and Decisive

In the end, Harry Osborn accepted Uchiha Akira's offer, following Peter's advice.

"Don't worry. My promise still stands. I'll reserve 3.8% of the shares for you. After graduation, you're also welcome to work at Oscorp. I understand how you feel—Oscorp holds over a decade of memories for you."

After Harry signed the stock transfer agreement, the two shook hands amicably under the witness of a lawyer.

"Where did you find this lawyer? I remember Oscorp has a legal team of over a dozen attorneys, yet you hired someone from outside."

Akira's question made Harry look slightly embarrassed. In fact, after deciding to let go of the burden of Oscorp, he finally began to resemble a normal teenager again.

"To be honest, I was worried the Oscorp legal department had been compromised, so I found someone externally. He may be blind, but he's very well known—often represents people who can't afford legal services and provides free aid to the poor. Also, you know, Mr. Uchiha, I'm still a minor, so for the documents to be legally valid, a third-party notary is required."

Harry had searched extensively before finding such a lawyer: Matt Murdock, a man widely known as a "charity lawyer."

"But I didn't expect that you, Mr. Uchiha, are also a minor. I always thought you just looked especially young—turns out you really are underage."

At that, Akira couldn't help but feel a headache coming on. At 16, soon to be 17, he still needed a "guardian" to sign various legal documents—not a huge problem, but definitely annoying.

Luckily, with Shadow Clone Jutsu and Transformation Jutsu, he could easily fabricate a guardian on the spot—fast and convenient!

When Akira saw his "old friend" Matt, he gave a knowing smile and said:

"Though Mr. Murdock is blind, he has a heart of gold. I've heard a lot about your reputation."

"You flatter me," Matt replied modestly, though something about Akira felt disturbingly familiar. His voice was nearly identical to someone Matt had encountered in Hell's Kitchen, but his body shape didn't match what Matt remembered of that "devil."

Although Matt's radar senses couldn't see faces, they were far from blind to someone's build and physical signature.

"Mr. Murdock, with your kindness, I imagine you must often help the poor in Hell's Kitchen, right?" Akira leaned in and whispered near Matt's ear.

"You—?!" Matt's senses screamed in alarm the moment Akira got close—his radar sense went haywire, and it felt like he was being stared at by something immensely dangerous. His whole body tensed as if dropped into a pit of ice.

Seeing Matt freeze up, Akira chuckled and patted him on the shoulder.

"Be careful, Mr. Murdock. I've heard Hell's Kitchen hasn't been too peaceful lately~"

And with that, Akira ignored Matt entirely, leaving him standing there stiffly, unsure what to do.

"Harry, let's talk while we walk. As I told you before, I'll be initiating Oscorp's delisting soon, turning it into a fully private company. I don't want our direction constrained by shareholders."

Akira had already mentioned the delisting plan to Harry, and now that Harry had let go of his desire to control Oscorp, he offered no objections.

Of course, delisting a public company wasn't a minor thing, nor could it be decided with a single sentence—but Akira had already made up his mind.

His goal now was to gain full control over Oscorp, becoming its sole decision-maker. The voices of scattered shareholders only obstructed his will.

"So, have you thought about what you'll do next?" Akira asked.

"I'm not really sure… maybe just finish high school, then try to get into a decent college?" Harry replied with a lost look.

Although Norman Osborn had indeed died at Akira's hands, it was technically Norman's own fault. Even under American law, Akira was not guilty of anything.

So, even facing the completely unaware Harry Osborn, Akira felt no guilt whatsoever. He could meet Harry's gaze without any shame.

"I'd suggest talking with Peter Parker. You two are close in age and good friends—maybe he can give you some useful advice."

"I understand. Thank you, Mr. Uchiha, for your guidance."

Watching Harry wave lightly and walk away from Oscorp, Akira made no effort to stop him.

"Chairman, the press conference is about to begin. Are you ready?"

The woman approaching had blonde hair, wore black stockings, a well-tailored business suit, and thin rose-gold glasses. She was none other than Kathryn, former secretary of Oscorp.

She wasn't the only female secretary under Norman, but many of the others were far too "close" to Norman. And with a change of leadership came a change in personnel—Akira had dismissed all of them.

Only Kathryn was retained. After all, Oscorp was undergoing major changes, and many logistical matters required someone experienced to handle them. Akira couldn't do everything himself.

Plus, Akira had already hypnotized Kathryn with the Sharingan, gaining access to her memories. She turned out to be one of the few legitimate professionals in Oscorp—a rare clean stream in a muddy pond.

A 30-year-old single woman, healthy parents, positive and diligent. The only thing slightly unusual was that she wasn't fond of men, but aside from that, she was pretty straightforward.

"I'm ready. Let's begin the press conference."

Kathryn stepped forward and straightened Akira's tie. "Chairman, you represent the image of Oscorp. Please be mindful of your appearance."

"Understood. Kathryn, I'm very satisfied with your professionalism."

"You flatter me, Chairman. My job doesn't allow for any negligence. Let's head to the venue."

Akira nodded in approval, clearly pleased with Kathryn's performance. Even if she was a lesbian—so what?

Her sexual orientation was none of his concern—as long as she did her job well.

Striding confidently forward, Akira failed to notice the flushed red hue on Kathryn's face.

"He smells so good… Why does the Chairman's scent drive me crazy?! That alluring fragrance… It's simply irresistible~"

As Kathryn followed Akira down the corridor, her mind wavered—beginning to question her own sexuality.
