The Calm After the Battle
Mikey and Jin return to school after their counterattack.
Their classmates cheer, treating them like heroes—the school feels safer under their watch.
But Mikey notices something unsettling: even though they won, they were being watched the entire time.
The New Villain Appears
The mysterious figure finally reveals themselves: Kael, known as The Watcher.
Kael is not a gang leader, but a master manipulator and strategist, said to have influence that reaches rival schools, underground fighters, and even some corrupt adults in the city.
Unlike Obsidian, Fang, or Raven—Kael doesn't fight at first. He studies, records, and collects data on every opponent.
His martial art style: Niten Jujutsu (a fusion of dual-blade swordsmanship and submission grappling), designed to overwhelm both strikers and grapplers.
Ability: "Shadow Archive" — Kael memorizes an opponent's techniques by observing them and can replicate or counter them flawlessly later.
First Signs of Trouble
Kael starts subtly:
He manipulates teachers and parents, painting Mikey and Jin as violent delinquents who drag the school into chaos.
He bribes rival students to spread rumors.
He begins turning the public against them, even while pretending to be polite and innocent in front of others.
Meanwhile, Kael's lieutenants start moving:
A brutal enforcer who specializes in counter-boxing, designed to break Mikey.
A cold tactician who dismantles Jin's taekwondo counters.
Together, they form Kael's new "discipline squad," soldiers who fight with surgical precision instead of raw chaos like Fang's gang.
The Trap
Mikey and Jin soon find themselves ambushed not by random thugs, but by organized fighters trained specifically to dismantle their styles.
They escape, but only barely—Kael makes sure to let them live, mocking them by whispering:
"I've already beaten you. I just need time for the world to realize it."
The Hook for the Next Arc
Mikey and Jin realize this new villain isn't just strong—he's smarter, colder, and far more dangerous.
Their new modes and secret techniques won't be enough—because Kael doesn't fight fair.
The stage is set for a psychological war where fists aren't enough; they'll need to out-think a manipulator while getting stronger than ever.
