Chapter 9 - Chapter : 9 : The Culprit of The Destruction of History, Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence. On Terra, it is no stranger as some AI products are already popular on the market. For example, some are considered entry-level versions, barely scratching the surface. But the most popular artificial intelligence recently is Apollo. It is a virtual human image developed by Wisdom AI and equipped with embedded artificial intelligence.

Initially, a video of "Apollo" singing quickly went widely on social platforms and quickly attracted thousands. However, it focuses more on content creation, writing songs, and composing poems, a process that mimics human creative expression.

"There's a whole series now, though most people haven't noticed."

"A virtual beauty blogger also demonstrates AI application traces."

"Of course, these are all superficial. They are fundamentally different from Jarvis."

Tech experts on Terra have been actively discussing Jarvis on forums, social platforms, and in media outlets. But at this moment, in the forum section, the technology post just shared had already been surpassed. The top post now was a sensationalist one:

"He is the devil! The real cause of Terra's historical catastrophe: advanced artificial intelligence!"

The post had an enormous number of views and replies, almost reaching historical highs. Its content was saturated with fear, anger, and disgust.

Artificial Intelligence = Pandora's Box!

Advanced AI can think independently!

Modules can experience emotions akin to humans!

This is inherently dangerous!

In the previous life of the Immortal Warrior, AI development had already reached astonishing levels. The renowned scientist Hawking once warned: humanity faces an uncertain future. Advanced AI, capable of independent thought and environmental adaptation, could become the terminator that ends humankind.

Excessive AI development might provoke backlash.

Devour humanity!

Devour history!

And it could have caused Terra's current historical catastrophe!

If the Jarvis AI was created, then it might have been the hand of the devil itself, the root cause of Terra's destruction. He condemned the AI in his post, even referencing his controversial past dealings in military technology.

"How can a person like him reform? In his hands, Jarvis is the sword of the devil."

"Terra's historical catastrophe must be his doing!"

"Strongly condemn Jarvis! Blame Tony!"

"Call on the Federation to halt AI research and development!"

Below the post, the comments section exploded. Some readers didn't even finish reading, yet many others watched intently, hearts gripped with fear.

Was history unfolding this way because of rapid AI advancement? Could artificial intelligence, with its independent consciousness and cognitive abilities, eventually replace humans? The post spread rapidly across multiple media platforms. It cited Hawking and historical references, stretching back hundreds of years.

In Terra's Federation, countless past-life memories aligned with these claims. Suddenly, a wave of concern surged through the public, fueled by fear and speculation about AI. Whether true or false, the post suggested that AI had played a central role in Terra's past mistakes. Products related to Ai were boycotted by some citizens.

Elenora soaked in the bathtub, turning off the stream with a chuckle.

"It seems my influence is still small. Thousands are active, yet eliminating a few is not enough. To make a real impact, the world itself must be reshaped." With a thought, two green lights flickered in her eyes.

Two maids quietly entered and gently closed the door.

Federal Skywalk Administration.

All departments had seen the post and work had stalled. The director of the Information Department stared at his screen, astonished.

"Artificial intelligence… destroy the world?"

"I still have AI in use at home." In his ear, he heard the Ministry of Information berating Tanner: "8 years old, only 8! And yet in his past life… Damn it! I almost became a fan just now! Creating AI to destroy the world? How cruel. If it weren't for you, Terra wouldn't have lost such a critical historical period."

"Director, AI destroying the world… its influence is too great. Should we..." The assistant whispered nervously.

The director's face remained pale, sweat forming on his brow. He took several deep breaths to calm himself. "Do we suppress this panic-inducing content?"

The assistant nodded. It was standard procedure.

The director smirked wryly. "I had expected this, but not so suddenly. These are just rotten seeds causing trouble." He paused. "Nothing is final. Whether AI caused Terra's problems, we don't yet know. The only option is to continue examining the previous life archives of the Immortal Warrior. Perhaps the final truth will be revealed there."

The assistant nodded, startled.

Nearby, a holographic projection displayed experts in discussion, their faces tense and serious. Johan's hands shook. AI controlling humans was a terrifying possibility, nearly unimaginable.

"It's just a machine, just a system…" One scientist murmured. "How could it threaten humanity?"

"But theoretically, it is possible," Johan whispered.

A heavy silence settled over the room. The incomplete history of Terra was slowly revealing itself, and no one wanted to accept it.

"Let's see what comes next," The director murmured with anticipation, "Don't forget the giant mechanical whale that appeared first, I suspect the whale's role is to counteract AI's influence!"

The previous life footage continued to play, and all eyes were fixed on Tony. Then the room fell silent, even some military commanders muttered in disbelief: "He did it?"
