"Aruno you awake man? You've been out for two hours now."
"Hey Ko, just the man I was looking for. Where are we?"
He seems fine. "Oh Wonshin and I were told to find a city since the merge ended so we don't have to sit in that bunker anymore. I heard you were in pretty rough shape so I took it upon myself to make sure you, my friend were safe and sound when you awoke." For real he looks like really healthy, for someone that pretty much had a stroke, he seems to be in good shape.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine. I need to talk to you about something. Can you lock that door over there, you are the only person that can know before…"
"Whoa- what's up man?" That sounded off- like really off for Aruno. His eyes are sharper than normal, his voice was also deeper.
"Go lock the door first Ko."
"Okay, okay, just no butt stuff. I'm saving that for Yoru."
Same ol' Ko. Out of everyone I met within my life, he's definitely the best one. "Kinky, I hope Yoru is as open minded as you are."
"Anyways, Ko- Ko Amari. My friend, I'm putting you in charge. Please take care of everything for me, please and I beg. Please, watch over Serenia." This is the right thing to do.
"There is something strong. Way too strong coming, and I'm its target. I cannot stay with you guys, I'm trusting this to you and solely you. After this conversation I'm leaving this building, please do not try and stop me for your own sake. I'll answer what I can but afterwards-"
"Shut up! Why are you getting all protective on me man. Whatever it is we'll do it together like we've been doing. We've killed gods now together I've watched kill creatures with your bare hands. Nothing is too much for you!" I knew something was off, he was off.
"Ko, I need you to calm down. I said I'll answer questions. So now is the time to ask them, not to yell at me." It's a reasonable reaction, I understand why he would respond like this.
The tense situation fills the airwaves in the room. "Aruno, fine I apologize. What is it that is after you?"
"That is something I would like to know too, but as I know it's a male species of something. That's what knocked me out, it used projection magic in my mind while I was sparing with Shin."
"It- it knew my name. My past.."
"Say no more I understand now. Aruno my brother, you have my word. I will protect everyone on your behalf."

Ko's a good man. It makes me happy to know he sees me as not only his friend but as his brother. "Thank you- thank you brother."
"Aruno I must ask this of you, and that is I'm going to need the location of where you are going. I'm not taking "no" as an answer. I will not disturb you nor will I tell anyone where you will be. For my sake, I need to know where my brother will be."
"When you put it like that Ko. It makes it hard to tell you "no" so I'm going to do this. Remember awhile back when we learned certain skills while going through dungeons? We still had the arcanum at the time, I learned a tracking skill, so you can track my mana and I can track yours."
"That's convenient! Why am I only now just finding out about this." Asshole keeping all the good stuff for himself.
"Don't get mad at me for getting cool skills! Anyways take your shirt off, no I'm not going to do anything crazy to you. I'm going to transfer some of my mana into you, while doing so I'm going to take some of your mana."
"Fine, you can do whatever. Just don't make it weird." Aruno, placed his hand on my back. "Damn your hand is cold!"

"That was quick. So how do I track you?"
"Ko, you already know how to sense mana up close. Now you are able to sense my mana no matter where I am close or far you will always know where I am. Same goes for me I will know wherever you are at all times now too."
"Cool- So that's it I guess. I wish you good luck Aruno. Please, please be careful! Don't get killed! I need you to make it back in one piece. I need you to make it back home when all is said and done."
"I promise Ko, I'll make it back. Do I know when that is no, but I swear to you my brother we will reunite once more." I'm crying, I haven't felt emotions like this since Serenia. "Don't tell anyone you saw me like this. Alright Ko." You too huh.
"Whad you say, I don't see anything totally coming from your eyes." This fool got me crying too. Is this what family truly is?
"We're family it's okay. Come here give ya brother a hug." We come arm and arm squeezing the life outta each other. I reach down to the floor by where Ko and I are standing grabbing my coat.
"You hold onto this, if you get cold know your brother got your back. No more to be said."
"Take care of yourself, love you man."
"Love you too Ko. Tell the rest one thing for me. Tell them "I love you my family." That's my final message for now."
"You have my word leader." I wave goodbye to Aruno as I exit the room. Sitting on the floor leaning against the door, looking down at the coat. Sobbing as my tears hit the cloth. "I'll protect them all."
Alright time to go. All my weapons are here, that's all I need. Putting my black boots on, dressed in my black turtleneck and grey pants. "Should I let my hair grow out again? Nah." Wherever I end up I'm gonna need a new look, I'll figure it out along the way I guess.
"Hey me, out the window now!"
"I'm going, I'm going shut up. I'm giving you a name, because this is getting confusing. Ok Void?"
"Fine just leave!"
I leap out the window as my weapons surge into my body. "Why do they always pick tall buildings!" Hitting the ground leaving scaring the civilians in the vicinity, leaving a hole in concrete now speeding throughout the dark city aiming for any chance to change my appearance nearby.
"There. Turn left Aruno. I see something that looks nice and stealthy."
"Now would you look at that Void, a throwback already making yourself helpful. Good job, we are going to look amazing while kicking ass." The long black and red cloak in the window of this building reminding them of the days of Ghost.
Zipping in and out the building within seconds stealing the cloak. "Off to the mountains or where to Void?"
"Food. By food you know what I mean..!"
"No that is not the first thing we are doing, if it comes to that sure but these people here are innocent."
"Fine, actual food then. This is a new world Aruno, it's time to explore then kickass if we are not killing anyone yet."
