Chapter 65 - 65

Chapter 65: Armor Upgrade

To solve the problem of experimental equipment, Russell found Hydra.

Although he hadn't done anything since joining Hydra, he believed they wouldn't refuse to lend him their power in advance.

Besides, he was going to be the leader of Hydra in the future.

To get the laboratory sorted out as quickly as possible, he didn't hesitate and contacted Bucky directly.

After hearing his request, Bucky froze for several seconds before reacting.

Although he didn't know exactly what Russell was planning to do, upon hearing that Russell intended to research the Symbiote Armor, he immediately agreed without a second thought.

Just some experimental equipment?

No problem, take it all!

Let alone experimental equipment, even if Russell wanted blonde, black-stockinged female assistants in white coats, there would be no problem.

With Hydra's help, Russell's military technology laboratory was quickly established.

Octopus Monster Military Technology Laboratory!

Russell, being terrible at naming things, simply used the name of his office.

Once the laboratory was established, Russell personally drove Peter to the lab.

The laboratory was located in Manhattan.

Although it wasn't in one of the famous office buildings, the surrounding environment was quite good, and transportation was also very convenient.

The laboratory had three floors in total.

The first floor was the lobby, reception room, and dining area; the second floor was the laboratory; and the third floor was the office.

Although Peter had crammed military technology knowledge for over half a month, upon arriving at the second-floor laboratory and seeing the various instruments he couldn't even name, the underage boy couldn't help but show a look of shock.

Besides Russell and Peter, there were also over a dozen laboratory assistants in white coats on the second floor.

These laboratory assistants were all female, and they were all young women with good figures and looks.

Perhaps knowing that Russell wasn't fond of black people, these female assistants were all white and Asian.

Seeing the laboratory assistants Bucky had arranged, Russell felt more and more that it was necessary for him to guide the ancient organization of Hydra back onto the right track.

Hydra and Bucky had originally planned to send over some experienced scientists, but Russell refused them without even thinking.

Letting Hydra scientists research the Symbiote Armor with Peter, you didn't need to think to know what would happen.

While Russell didn't mind giving Hydra a little taste, for example, revealing some less important derivative technologies from the Symbiote Armor to Hydra.

But the core technology of the armor, he wouldn't give away a single bit.

This included the armor's full liquid intelligent metal technology, as well as the energy source and operating system used by the armor, and so on.

These technologies were top-notch, ones that even Tony hadn't developed yet.

Putting everything else aside, the energy core currently used by the Symbiote Armor was significantly more advanced than the miniaturized Arc Reactor Tony was using at the moment.

The reactor Tony was currently using still used palladium, which would lead to self-poisoning with prolonged use.

He would have to wait until he discovered the new element from Howard's exhibition model before he could solve this problem.

After having the blushing Peter greet the well-endowed, black-stockinged female assistants, Russell came to the third-floor office alone.

Closing the door, he took the Symbiote Armor out of his system space.

He didn't put it on, but instead had the armor activate Sentinel Mode.

The so-called Sentinel Mode was essentially allowing the armor to perform tasks independently without a user.

Because there was no wearer, the helmet form the armor was currently in was the normal armor form, not the "low-key" form that exposed the face and hair.

When the Symbiote Armor appeared, Russell went directly to the sofa chair behind the desk and sat down, saying to AI Unit 3 inside the armor: "Check all systems in the laboratory, change permissions, reset the firewall, set up a private server and database. I want the laboratory completely clean!"

"Yes, sir!"

The armor's AI system, Unit 3, quickly responded, its synthesized male voice sounding out.

In terms of performance, the AI Unit 3 used by the Symbiote Armor was no worse than Tony's JARVIS.

But unlike JARVIS, which had Stark Industries as its backing, Unit 3 could do much less at the moment.

Putting everything else aside, just in terms of the ability to mobilize various resources, Unit 3 was inferior to JARVIS.

JARVIS could mobilize and use all of Stark Industries' resources, such as satellites and servers, etc.

While Unit 3's performance was no worse than JARVIS, what Unit 3 could use at the moment were only the various systems on the armor's body.

Of course, if Russell allowed Unit 3 to act as a hacker, letting it infiltrate the equipment of other corporations and organizations, and gave it some time to develop, it could do everything that JARVIS could do.

However, for now, Russell didn't have this idea.

This world was already chaotic enough; he didn't want to cause an Ultron-like AI crisis in this world.

Unit 3 controlled the armor to come in front of the desk, turned its right index finger into the shape of an electronic connector, and plugged it into the computer port in front of Russell.

This laboratory was built with Hydra's help, so it was obvious that Hydra must have hidden many contingencies inside the lab.

Although Russell wasn't a top hacker like Skye, it didn't matter, he had Unit 3.

Let alone infiltrating the laboratory's system from the inside, even infiltrating from the outside, for Unit 3, it was just a matter of how much time it would take.

While Unit 3 was checking the laboratory according to his instructions, Russell picked up a blank piece of paper and started sketching on it.

Although Peter was a very smart child, it wasn't easy for him to develop a completely new set of military technology from scratch.

Russell had high hopes for Peter, but for now, he didn't plan to let Peter do things beyond his current capabilities.

Peter wasn't Tony; he couldn't develop the armor purely by himself, so Russell's initial plan for Peter was very simple.

Upgrade the Symbiote Armor's weapon system!

Currently, the Symbiote Armor's main weapon systems were only the Arc Pulse Cannons in its palms and the Unibeam in its chest.

Although the Arc Pulse Cannons and Unibeam had several different modes, overall, the armor's current weapon system wasn't particularly extensive.

Even adding the scattered auxiliary combat systems, the armor was still quite far from Russell's goal.

Unlike Tony, Russell himself possessed powerful personal strength.

Therefore, his positioning of the armor was somewhat different from Tony's.

A firepower platform!

He didn't need the armor to have overly astonishing close-combat capabilities; what he needed was a firepower platform that could provide a large amount of firepower output at any time.

From this perspective, his positioning of the armor leaned more towards firepower output like War Machine.

The War Machine that Colonel Rhodes initially used was modified from a blank Mark II.

After being upgraded and modified by Hammer Industries, the blank Mark II, which had little firepower, became the incredibly powerful War Machine.

Russell didn't plan to let Hammer Industries interfere with the armor's modification, so he would leave the task of enhancing the firepower to Peter.
