Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 What Favoritism

After dinner, Nobi Hiroshi sat in front of the TV watching a popular anime about super-powered individuals.

"Why are my hamburger patties so small? Mom is so biased."

Spreading his legs, Nobita puffed out his cheeks and complained, pressing his five fingers into the tatami mat, looking displeased at Hiroshi in front of him.

"What can be done about that? It's your fault, Nobita, for not doing well on the test again. This is only natural."

"If you could get 100 points like Hiroshi, Mom would naturally reward you."

Listening to Nobita's unreasonable complaints, Doraemon stepped forward to speak fairly.

He still held the dorayaki he had bitten into during the day in his round hand. The disgusting image had disappeared from his mind, and he could finally enjoy it with peace of mind.

"Sigh, I know, you guys are so annoying. If I could, I'd also want to get a hundred points."

"If only I could have superpowers like the people on TV."

"Everything would be so convenient, and I could even get revenge on that hateful Gian."

"Oh, right, Doraemon, you must have a gadget that gives people superpowers!" Nobita turned around, looking at Doraemon with anticipation, rubbing his small hands together.

"A gadget that gives superpowers?" Doraemon scratched his forehead, swallowed the dorayaki in his hand, and reluctantly said, "There are such gadgets, but Nobita, will you really use it?"

"The process of gaining superpowers is very difficult. Someone like you, without perseverance, I don't think you'll be able to use it."

"Don't look down on me! If it's for superpowers, I'll definitely study hard."

Hearing that Doraemon really had a superpower gadget, Nobita instantly got excited.

"Alright then..."

"Superpower Training Box!"

From his magical pocket, he took out a colorful cylindrical box with several small steel balls on top, looking quite ordinary.

"Nobita, you need to think carefully."

"Although this box is amazing, you must persist for three hours every day, and after three years, you'll be able to skillfully use these three superpowers: clairvoyance, telekinesis, and instant movement."

"What, three years!"

Hearing such harsh conditions, Nobita's mind immediately crashed.

What kind of person would spend three years training this thing, and for three hours every day? That's too hard.

"I told you you couldn't do it, didn't I? This gadget is useless to you, I'd better put it away."

"Wait, Doraemon, I want it, I want it."

"Then will you train well?"

"Of course, I will persevere."

Doraemon painstakingly advised, somewhat distrusting Nobita's three-minute enthusiasm, but he reluctantly lent it to him anyway.

Nobita excitedly took the Superpower Training Box and ran upstairs.

"Doraemon, can I also borrow that Superpower Training Box?"

"Sure, Xiao Hong, you want to play too?"

"I'll lend it to you when Nobita gets tired of it. I estimate he won't use it for more than two days."

Doraemon seemed to have already guessed the outcome. Every time he lent a gadget to Nobita, it never ended well; he had seen through it.

"Mm, thank you."

Nobi Hiroshi's expression was calm, and he continued watching TV, completely unfazed by Nobita borrowing the Superpower Training Box first. Being overly ambitious, Nobita certainly wouldn't succeed in training with it.

After he gets it, he can make good use of it to enhance his self-preservation abilities, in preparation for the movie version mode outside of daily life.

The three superpowers sound impressive, but with the emergence of various secret gadgets in the future world, such things have already gone out of style.

Clairvoyance goes without saying; there are dozens of gadgets that can only see through things, and they have even more functions.

The location of instant movement is not fixed, only a general direction, and the distance of movement is not far. Even the first-generation anywhere door can reach light-years away and is very precise.

Considering time, efficiency, and other aspects, future people naturally wouldn't use such recreational gadgets, but Nobi Hiroshi is different. He isn't a future person and doesn't have convenient secret gadgets.

Moreover, compared to the help of gadgets, Hiroshi still prefers his own strength.

If you know martial arts, you're not a coward.

Gadgets are all fake; if you can't control them, no matter how powerful they are, they're fake. Good iron must be hard itself.

Time came to 9 PM.

After a bath, Nobi Hiroshi stood in front of the washstand, examining his fair face. It was delicate with a hint of childishness, a complete young Zheng Tai.

"Xiao Hong, you must supervise Nobita's studies more at school. Auntie is counting on you."

Yuzi held a hairdryer, drying Nobi Hiroshi's hair, a gentle smile on her face.

"Don't worry, Aunt Tamako, I'll take good care of Nobita's studies."

The space in front of the washbasin was small, and facing each other, it felt a bit crowded.

The warmth from his chest made Yuzi's hand movements slow down.

"Hiss..."

Nobi Hiroshi's eyelashes flickered rapidly.

"Humph... Mm..."

Pulling out the hairdryer.

"Alright, Xiao Hong, close your eyes."

"Why?"

"Close them quickly."

Nobi Yuzi rarely put on a stern face, her attitude somewhat forceful, making Hiroshi sit on the edge of the bathtub.

"Then... alright..."

Nobi Hiroshi reluctantly closed his eyes, obeying the arrangement.

"You absolutely must not open them..."

Gurgle~

"Yuzi, where did you go just now?"

Daisuke looked at her strange demeanor and asked curiously.

"My neighbor's wife said drinking milk at night can whiten skin. I just tried it."

Quickly finding an excuse, Yuzi was slightly flustered, smiling as she slipped into her own bed.

The fluttering in her heart had not yet stopped. Looking at Daisuke, she lowered her head somewhat guiltily.

"What, has your sleep quality not been very good lately?"

Nobi Daisuke looked at his wife, who was a little different from usual, and felt some doubt in his heart, but he didn't pay too much attention to it.

"Mm, a little, I guess."

A hoarse voice drifted out.

"Sigh, don't think too much. Even though Nobita didn't do well on his exam today, we shouldn't worry too much. I believe he will eventually grow up one day."

Nobi Daisuke sighed with relief, and then the room fell silent, with only the sound of Yuzi's tongue rolling.
