Chapter 28 - Chapter 28 An Active Invitation

Searching along the coast, Nobi Nobita didn't miss a single nook or cranny, calling out Shizuka's name.

There was no response.

After walking for a long time, anxious, he finally found Shizuka and Nobi Hiroshi under the cave by the cliff.

"Shizuka, are you okay? I looked for you for so long."

Nobi Nobita jumped over like a stone monkey emerging from a mountain, gesticulating wildly.

"Oh, it's Nobita. Thanks to Hiroshi, I'm perfectly fine." She looked at Nobita with cold eyes, her heart filled with resentment.

Anyone could tell that the dinosaur was definitely Nobita's doing; he had used his gadgets for another prank, causing great harm.

It was just that as a friend, she didn't want to dwell on it too much.

"Hehe... that's good..."

Nobita, oblivious, chuckled dryly, completely missing the subtle meaning in the loli's words.

Instead, he stared at Shizuka with a pig-like expression; the girl's face was unusually flushed, and paired with her light yellow swimsuit, she looked exceptionally cute.

Shizuka felt uncomfortable being stared at like that. She covered her chest and went to Nobi Hiroshi, who was by the beach, washing his belly with seawater.

The loli, who was the culprit, blinked and said expectantly, "Oh, Hiroshi, tomorrow... do you want to go out together?"

"Tomorrow? Of course, that's great. I'm free whenever you need me."

"Okay, then I'll wait for you at the entrance of Commercial Street tomorrow morning. Be early, okay?"

Shizuka's face was flushed, and she looked very cute. It was her first time actively inviting Hiroshi, and she felt a little nervous inside.

Since they had secretly confirmed their relationship, it would be too unreasonable not to go on a date. She was really looking forward to it.

"Hmph, Shizuka is whispering with that guy again. So annoying."

Although he couldn't hear what they were saying, just watching them was annoying enough.

Nobita pouted unhappily, making a face at the two lovebirds by the beach, raging in impotence.

Everyone who had finished playing should go home.

Doraemon pulled out the anywhere door, and everyone returned to their own homes.

Under the night sky, the town was brightly lit, shining like stars in the Milky Way.

After dinner, Nobita and Doraemon sat in the living room watching TV. Hiroshi was also watching, but was mysteriously pulled away by Yuzi, who said she really needed his help.

"Wow, there are so many stars tonight. It looks like tomorrow will be good weather."

Nobi Daisuke sat in the yard, enjoying the beautiful moonlit starry sky.

"Eh, where did this water come from? Is it raining? How strange!"

Warm drops of water fell on Daisuke's face. He looked up at the sky curiously; it clearly wasn't raining, and the water was very strange, appearing from near to far, then far to near, and then disappearing without a trace.

The next day, Nobi Hiroshi woke up early and went downstairs to wash up. He absolutely couldn't be late today.

He looked in the mirror, dressed in a sunny and cute outfit, and was quite satisfied.

"Perfect, let's go."

Leaving the Nobi with a joyful heart, Hiroshi walked towards the agreed-upon Commercial Street.

He had informed Yuzi that he would be going out today, so there was no breakfast. He would buy something to eat on Commercial Street later.

His right wrist was still a bit sore. It was all Yuzi's fault for wanting to watch the stars by the window, which ultimately made him work hard.

But as compensation, Hiroshi also saw the fountain, which was a small shock, so it was barely not a loss.

"Leaving so early, there must be something fishy!"

Footsteps came from the stairs.

As soon as Nobi Hiroshi left, Nobita changed his clothes. It seemed his premonition was accurate; Hiroshi really had a little secret he was hiding.

"I want to see what you're up to."

Leaving the house, Nobita quietly followed behind Nobi Hiroshi, keeping a distance of one utility pole, hiding very well.

Nobi Hiroshi felt a pair of eyes peering at him in the dark, but couldn't find the source, so he just assumed he was being paranoid and went straight to Commercial Street.

"Shizuka!"

He saw the loli standing across the street from afar, and Nobi Hiroshi waved as he walked over.

"Hiroshi, good morning!"

Tian Mei smiled faintly, looking at Hiroshi with her obsidian-like sparkling eyes, clearly having put effort into her appearance.

A blue and white shirt paired with a mini skirt, soft hair flowing loose, held back by an exquisite hairpin, carrying a bag, and wearing sports socks and cotton shoes, she was lively and adorable.

"Shizuka, you look very beautiful today. My eyes can't fit anything else."

"Ah! Thank you, Hiroshi, you're very handsome today… like a prince…"

Praised, Shizuka looked down at her little skirt, which was a reward for her 100-point score last time.

Wearing this new skirt was indeed the right choice. Hiroshi seemed to like it very much, and the girl was secretly delighted.

"Prince… hehe…"

"Then let's go, Princess."

Nobi Hiroshi laughed heartily, taking her soft little hand and walking ahead.

The loli's snow-white, tender skin and her outfit greatly satisfied Hiroshi's appetite and imagination.

If someone asked him if he was a loli-con, then they would be truly perceptive!

After the two walked out of Commercial Street, a sneaky figure emerged from beside a trash can.

"What prince, what princess? These two are actually secretly going out to play behind my back!"

"Ahhh, they're holding hands! Why didn't Shizuka refuse him? That Hiroshi is getting too carried away."

Looking at the two people in front of him who looked like a couple, Nobita's expression was one of extreme sorrow and shock.

It was as if he had suffered some betrayal. He bit his lower lip tightly, holding back the urge to cry.

"I've been friends with Shizuka for longer, and we have a better relationship, so why did she only ask that guy out to play?"

"Shizuka can only be mine! It's all that guy's fault! I need to catch up quickly, lest Shizuka be taken advantage of."

After comforting himself, Nobita wiped away his tears and set off again, quietly following behind, his eyes filled with determination.

"Shizuka, did you eat breakfast?"

"No, Hiroshi, did you?"

"Me neither. Let's go see what's good to eat. I'll treat you."

"Eh, how could I let you?"

"What's there to be embarrassed about? Isn't it normal to treat your girlfriend to food?"

His empty stomach began to rumble, and Nobi Hiroshi smiled as he spoke to Shizuka.

The girl didn't continue to delay upon hearing this, only nodding blankly, agreeing with the statement, and holding his small hand even tighter.

Then, the two began to sweep the street for delicious snacks.

Takoyaki, tempura, grilled bird skewers—they had a little of everything.

Hiroshi took out his bulging wallet to pay, which surprised Shizuka a bit. Thousand-yen and ten-thousand-yen bills were packed tightly inside.

These funds were naturally not Hiroshi's allowance, but rather the deceased Ukifune's condolence money, totaling about 500,000 Japanese yen. Most of it was still in his bank account; he just took out some pocket money for daily use.
