Ringo stared at the phone, somewhat speechless.
But in the end, he thought about it for a bit and realized that this might work with Hila, so he shrugged and waited.
He practically clung to the clock on the ceiling.
Spending the next few hours lost in thought.
After about three hours, when he thought it was enough, he transformed into a nightmare and invaded Hila's room.
She was lying on the bed in just her underwear, she hadn't slept, just staring at the ceiling, her eyes still slightly red.
Ringo returned to human form and made a soft sound as he touched the ground. Hila froze and glanced sideways, relieved only to see it was him, but the next moment her face hardened.
-I don't remember letting you in!- She said sharply.
Ringo felt a little apprehensive, but remembering Melissa's tender voice, he hardened his heart.
He approached while taking off his clothes, Hila frowned as she said. -What do you think you're...!
But before she could finish, he was already on top of her, her lips sealed with his.
She bit her tongue, understandingly, but it didn't hurt at all. She tried to punch him, but he held her wrists and continued, his free hand sliding down her body.
Hila began to retaliate aggressively, glaring angrily at him as she engaged in the fight. Ringo released her as she dug her nails into his back.
The next act was just as intense as their first time, complete madness, even the bed broke. Now that Hila was at Rank D, she could handle much more.
Ringo continued to send energy to her, healing her as they did so, he didn't want to have to stop because she was badly hurt. It was supposed to be something crazy, and it was.
The next day, Hila woke up with her body aching all over, they were lying on the mattress with only a thin sheet covering them.
Hila lay on his chest, she froze for a moment before lifting her head slightly, seeing that he was still asleep. She wanted to sigh with relief, but she didn't dare, afraid of waking him.
She stood there, staring at his face, his pale skin but strong features, she bit her lip for a moment before wanting to punch him in the face again.
But in the end, she just snuggled against his chest.
Sometime in the middle of the night, Hila seemed to realize that she couldn't turn her back to him.
She considered many outcomes, but whenever she thought about abandoning the promise and walking away, she felt a void in her chest, as they lost themselves in depravity, she seemed to understand why.
That was her place.
Yesterday, when she heard that he was also attracted to Aurora, in addition to anger and disgust, there was also a pang of jealousy.
Because she knew that her sister could have the same effect that she had on him.
Hila drove him crazy. She liked it more than she could admit, but she wasn't the only one.
She saw that Ringo had opened his eyes at some point and was looking at her, she didn't look away this time, but resolutely, she spoke what was on her mind.
-If you touch my sister, I'll kill you.- Hila said with all the seriousness she could muster, she wasn't joking.
Ringo sensed this and nodded. -I promise, I won't touch Aurora.
Hila narrowed her eyes at him, searching for lies, she saw none, giving a soft snort that showed both her approval and her dominance.
Ringo rolled his eyes and said that if he didn't know she couldn't handle it, he would let her figure out who was in charge.
Hila seemed to notice his harsh gaze and quickly looked away, she really wanted to fight, but she couldn't take it anymore.
Don't look for battles you can't win!
-As for Lena and Eva...- Hila paused for a moment, her teeth clenched, but she still seemed resigned. -I'll pretend I don't know anything.
Ringo looked at her and felt a little guilty again, he wanted the three of them to accept each other, but for now, this was enough. He didn't want to push Hila any further.
-Okay.- He agreed.
-If you get into my bed smelling of another woman, you won't touch me!- she continued.
Ringo chuckled for a moment, he could wash away that smell with his energy anytime, so he calmly agreed.
She looked at him again, searching for deception, but no, she only saw affection and guilt, which embarrassed her once more.
Thinking about the craziness of the previous night, she was grateful that the rooms here were soundproof, she couldn't look at her sister any other way.
Ringo finally breathed a sigh of relief and mentally thanked himself for choosing to call Melissa, if he had chosen someone else, he would probably still be in trouble.
Feeling relieved, he sensed the sweaty bodies of the two and began to carry Hila to the bathroom while starting to inject more energy into her. Unfortunately, the energy didn't heal as quickly as he would have liked, so the bath was just that, a simple bath.
They returned to their previous position, with Hila sitting on his lap. This time, when he hugged her from behind, she adjusted herself slightly and rested her head on his neck. He didn't know why, but Hila seemed much more open now, at the very least, she wasn't pretending anymore, just letting herself go.
She put her arms around his, her ears a little red, but she was still clearly showing affection on her own.
Ringo, though surprised, was very happy with the woman's acceptance.
Of course, expecting phrases like "I love you" from her was still a long way off.
He always felt a constant sense of guilt towards Hila, not only because of how their relationship started, but also because of his clearly irrational demands.
If it were the other way around, he would never accept it.
Hypocritical? Absolutely! That's why he'll try to accept any reasonable demand from her. Because she sacrificed something that even he wouldn't have sacrificed for her. He owed this woman a great deal.
In the end he stopped thinking about it, finally letting go of that burden. He knew it was far from over, but at least he knew Hila wouldn't walk away because of it.
The future would be complicated, but he would get there.
