Although her parting gift was unexpected, then I let out a slight smile knowing that she has a favorable impression of me.
Despite how that girl might act, she's someone who wouldn't just kiss anyone like that if she didn't find them to her liking or at least that's how I read her.
Either way, it's time to receive the reward. I already obtained the proficiency points after killing the anomaly.

"Oh, so the reward listed is divided between the participants." A bit unexpected, but overall it isn't really a concern.
I wasn't gonna cry over a loss of points, or if it was even a loss to begin with.
1,000 is already a lot, plenty of things I could buy with these kinds of points.

MartialARTish: It was easier than I expected. The anomaly didn't even last a single hit.
MadHorseScientist: I can vouch for that, it was indeed that easy. We certainly got lucky this time around.

Then Agnes proceeds to explain what transpired in the quest, in a surprising formal way.

SpecialistWinter: I can see you truly lucked out, even if it's an F rank they could still be a tricky opponents, @MartialARTish remember, you shouldn't be overconfident and think that these anomalies are easy to deal with, as I can assure you they are not.
I rolled my eyes at this 'advice' I wasn't stupid, and I don't need to be reminded of what I know of.
We got lucky, that this anomaly never got the chance to fight back or the fact that he wasn't smart enough to prepare a hidden trump card.
But regardless of Winter's treating me like I was a clueless child, and despite knowing that it's her own way of caring toward her group members, it's still a bit irritating to be looked down upon.

Well, there's no reason for me to be unreasonable as it would paint me as an asshole, seeing that she seemed sincere.

And this caused the women of the group to be interested, nay more than interested, but very, very invested in this topic.

MadHorseScientist: It seems that I've been forced to, very well this is what happened between the two of us.
The way she writes her comment, implies that there's something romantic involved in our temporary partnership.

MadHorseScientist: Naturally I accepted and that very night, we feasted with our dinner. It was a very enjoyable dinner date.
Yeah, no that same night was us scavenging for food for the survivors we saved, having enough for a feast after we're done.
It certainly was an enjoyable dinner with the survivors we rescued, their smiles and hope was great reward for us, but there was little to no romance at that night!
The girl's reaction was predictable, even the ever strict and cold Winter was definitely enjoying the 'romantic' story.
However, for the guys they weren't sure if that really happened, especially for Hikigaya who is rather skeptical of this.
As expected of the monster of logic.
MadHorseScientist: Then the very next day, we continued our date around the city.
Translation: we scouted for the anomaly while saving the remaining survivors around.
MadHorseScientist: Then we held hands for a bit.
I basically wanted to borrow her riding crop and was curious to see how it works, which unfortunately made me hold her hand for a moment.
This girl is really twisting the story.
And for the finale, she wrote.
MadHorseScientist: And by the end of the quest, I kissed him.
In the cheek!
But they didn't know that and the reaction was of course immediate.
