Chapter 38 - Chapter 38 Killing Stryker

"He's not dead, but our 'Terminator' needs his skeleton to cool down."

Ron looked at the skeleton on the ground.

The Adamantium skeleton was too hot for flesh and blood to regenerate.

Once the temperature dropped, Number 11 would recover his body; like Wolverine, his self-healing factor had merged with the Adamantium skeleton, so as long as the skeleton remained, he couldn't die.

Bending down, Ron touched the scorching skeleton, which was over a thousand degrees, and absorbed the heat from the skeleton's chest upwards.

Soon, the cooled skeleton regenerated flesh and blood at a visible speed, restoring half of his body.

However, Number 11 was severely injured and remained in a coma, not yet awake.

"A bit disgusting."

Raven frowned slightly; although she had self-healing abilities, she had never seen such a scene: first pink muscles and nerves, then internal organs and skin…

"Emma, it's your turn."

He stood up with a calm expression and instructed her.

Last time, White Queen tried to use her power to create an illusion to deal with Number 11, but it didn't work.

At that time, Number 11 was remotely controlled by a computer through implanted neural devices; he wasn't a person but a biological weapon.

Now, all the messy things inside Number 11's body had disappeared.

White Queen squatted down, placed her hand on his head, and began to read his memories.

In the secret underground laboratory.

"Quick, destroy any data that can't be taken with us!"

Stryker urged anxiously, leaving his last words as several subordinates and a fully armed special squad escorted him, carrying large and small boxes, trying to leave early.

Hiss, the door opened.

Three figures stood outside the door: one male and two females.

"Where are you going, Stryker?"

Ron asked expressionlessly, his gaze like someone looking at a rat trapped in a dark hole.

Raven and Emma stood to his left and right, their faces as if covered in frost.

"Mutants say hello to you."

Raven said coldly, sounding less like a greeting and more like an announcement of Death's arrival.

Having seen dehumanizing photo documentation of Stryker's experiments on Mutants, many of which involved underage children, she was filled with murderous intent towards Stryker.

"How did you find this place so quickly?"

Stryker's eyes widened, his expression changing drastically upon seeing Ron.

His ominous premonition had come true, and it had arrived so quickly that he wasn't even given a chance to escape.

"A dying man doesn't need to know that much."

White Queen sneered; after obtaining the laboratory's location from Number 11's mind, she had transmitted it to Ron.

Ron had used mind teleportation to bring them directly here.

What use was an answer to someone who was about to die?

"Quick, Fred, kill them!"

Stryker immediately roared his command.

A burly man nearly two meters tall with bulging muscles beside him, Fred, one of Stryker's X-Squad members, immediately charged forward like a brown bear, carrying immense strength and a whooshing sound, attacking ferociously.

Fred possessed superhuman strength and defense capable of easily withstanding tank shell impacts.

"You're blocking my view."

Bang!

A huge shadow loomed over him, but Ron's expression didn't change in the slightest.

He raised his hand, and under the impact of the deliberately controlled energy ray from his palm, the massive, thick body flew backward even faster, smashing several special squad members into a bloody mess.

Without losing momentum, he crashed through several walls, a large hole opened in his chest, his internal organs clearly visible, and he was on the verge of Death.

"Fire!"

Agent Zero, a terrified member of the X-Squad standing nearby, pulled out two pistols from her waist and, along with the frightened special squad, fired their weapons while retreating.

Bullets, accompanied by flames, shot out from the muzzles.

They intended to provide suppressing fire to cover Stryker's escape.

Unfortunately, the three individuals—Ron, Raven, and Emma—were different from other fragile Mutants; none of them could be harmed by bullets.

"Are you tickling me?"

Activating her adaptive survival ability, black, scale-like stone armor grew on Raven's body, blocking the bullets.

With a look of disdain, her figure, like an elegant leopard, leaped into the crowd, slashing and disemboweling.

Emma, transformed into her diamond form, also charged forward with a cold demeanor, her diamond-hard fists, combined with simple and sharp combat techniques, easily shattering human bones.

Amidst the wails and screams, Ron walked slowly towards Stryker, his hands clasped behind his back.

"Do you have any other tricks?"

"Monsters, all of you monsters deserve to die!"

Facing a desperate situation, Stryker revealed a fierce expression, pulled out a specially made pistol, and under the pressure of Death, fired madly.

A series of deafening gunshots, and the magazine was emptied in two or three seconds.

Silver bullet heads struck his body, lost their kinetic energy, and fell to the ground, making a distinct clinking sound.

"Adamantium bullets?"

He glanced at the bullets at his feet.

"Not as good as that blade."

Compared to the kinetic energy of a thin blade slicing down, absorbing the kinetic energy from a rounded bullet head was much simpler.

Adamantium bullets could penetrate other Adamantium, but they were useless against him.

"Why did God create you monsters?!"

His last resort useless, Stryker stumbled backward, knocking over a laboratory table, and roared in grief and despair.

"My wife, Marcy, died at the hands of you monsters, and the one who killed her was her own beloved son."

"You Mutant monsters with special abilities shouldn't exist!"

"Don't act like a tragic villain with a miserable past and understandable reasons."

Hearing his accusation, Ron scoffed.

"Spreading your hatred for your own son, your obsession, to an entire race—you're nothing but a deranged lunatic."

He raised his hand, and a dazzling crimson light ignited.

Buzz!

Stryker's eyes widened in terror as his right leg was blasted to pieces.

He screamed terribly and fell to the ground, the intense pain assaulting his mind, almost causing him to faint.

He was in too much pain to speak, his face pale, blood gushing out.

"Kill… kill me! If you have the guts, kill me!"

"Nonsensical. Do you think I would let you go? I am killing you."

He raised an eyebrow at the superfluous request.

"However, you should at least taste the pain of those you experimented on before you die."

"Ahhh!…"

One energy blast after another, first shattering Stryker's limbs.

He lay on the ground, screaming incessantly.

"I forgot about your mouth."

Finally, finding him too noisy, he casually delivered another energy blast to Stryker's mouth, leaving it a bloody mess, all his teeth knocked out.

He couldn't even utter a final curse before Death, his body convulsing from the pain, only able to make grunting sounds.

After a brutal torment, Stryker's eyes, staring at Ron, were filled with nothing but terror.

Lying on the cold ground, his blood rapidly draining, he stopped convulsing shortly after.

Thus ended Stryker, the X-Men villain who should have remained active for decades more, harming countless Mutants.

"When you put those underage children on the experimental table, you should have foreseen today's outcome."

Raven, who had easily dealt with the other special squad members and Agent Zero, walked up with Emma, looking at the corpse and scoffing coldly.

Agent Zero's unerring marksmanship was a joke to someone impervious to bullets, and Raven mercilessly tore her throat out.

"Raven, that big oaf's ability is quite good, and he's about to die."

Ron gestured for Raven to copy Fred's ability, whom he had intentionally held back from directly killing.

"If you copy his ability, your safety will be further enhanced."

"Thank you, Ron."

Moved by Ron's concern for her safety, Raven went to copy the ability, then returned and, out of gratitude, spontaneously kissed him.

Amidst the corpses and crimson blood, the lovers kissed as if it were an ordinary moment, their love intertwining, as if they were in a blooming meadow, possessing a sinister beauty.

"There are quite a few laboratory personnel hiding inside. After we send people to take over the experiments and results here, kill them."

After a long kiss, Ron turned to Emma and ordered.

"Ron, they were experimenting and researching on us Mutants.

Are we to continue?"

Emma, understanding his meaning, hesitantly asked.
