Chapter 86 - Chapter 80 Prey and Sinners

Asgard.

Green mountains with snow-capped peaks, and azure waters flowing through, a place as beautiful as a fairyland.

The magnificent Heavenly Palace was nestled among the mountains.

An invisible warship was docked far away from the beautiful continent floating in the Universe.

A red-haired woman, clad in splendid armor, with ribbons embroidered with ancient mysterious symbols floating around her, traversed the void with her, silently arriving above Asgard.

She was about to fly over the tranquil sea, but Heimdall, who guarded the Bifrost Bridge, Asgard's strongest weapon, had already discovered her.

"Intruder, you have trespassed into Asgard, surrender!"

The majestic Guardian strode out of the control room, his expression stern, his long sword pointing towards the sky.

"Heimdall, the gatekeeper of the Heavenly Palace, the King of Emptiness's most loyal dog. It is rumored that you possess eyes that can see the Nine Realms, as excellent as the nose of the best hound."

Angela said with a hint of cold arrogance on her beautiful face.

"Too bad you can't fly."

With that, she flew swiftly over the sea, heading straight for the Heavenly Palace.

"Intruder!"

After Heimdall activated a magic warning, he jumped onto the crossbeam of the Bifrost Bridge, quickly ran to the highest point, leaped, and swung his sword fiercely at the red-haired figure in mid-air.

"Intruder, you will be brought before the God King for judgment!"

"Is that so? How come I heard your God King is so old he can't even get out of bed?"

Angela, like a proud Angel, lightning-fast drew her exquisite long sword, and with a backhand sweep, a silver light flashed.

Clang!

The long swords collided, and the deafening sound of metal clashing rang out.

Heimdall, the strongest warrior under the Asgardian royal family, whose two-handed sword strike was easily blocked, was swept back dozens of meters, falling heavily onto the Bifrost Bridge.

His golden horned helmet fell off, and he looked up with a shocked expression: "Who are you?"

He had never seen such a powerful female warrior in the Nine Realms!

But Angela ignored him, leaving behind a cold and arrogant figure imbued with killing intent, flying directly into the Heavenly Palace, heading straight for her target—the despicable and hypocritical Odin.

"Foreign enemy invasion, all units on alert!"

With the warning, all the guards in the Heavenly Palace sprang into action, searching for the foreign enemy.

"Mother, Heimdall warned that someone has broken into Asgard. You stay here with Father."

Inside Odin's bedchamber, Thor, with a touch of sorrow on his face, summoned Thor's Hammer to his hand, gave a solemn instruction, then turned and left, telling the guards to strictly protect the bedchamber.

He had already nearly lost one family member, and he did not want to lose another.

Through the slowly closing door, the frail and unconscious Odin lay on the golden bed, while Queen Frigga held his hand, guarding him with a sorrowful expression, not budging an inch.

"Yes, King."

After giving the order to the guards of the bedchamber to protect it well, he swiftly headed to the Heavenly Palace Hall with Thor's Hammer. With an outsider breaking into Asgard, he, as the acting king, needed to be present to take charge.

Walking without pause, Thor's heart was incredibly heavy as he recalled the many things his Mother Frigga had told him in recent days that he had not known before.

For instance, he was not the eldest child; he had two older sisters.

His eldest sister, Hela, his Mother did not say much about, only that she was sealed away by his Father Odin because her bloodlust was too great after conquering the Nine Realms.

As for his second sister, Audreyf, when the World Tree still had ten realms, the Heaven and Asgard went to war, and she was killed in her cradle by the King of Angels, Haeven, who also took her body.

Even his presumed Mother was not his Mother.

"In the blink of an eye, I seem to have no family left. Why is this happening?"

Thor was filled with indignant confusion. As he walked towards the Heavenly Palace Hall, a surging tide of resentment churned within him.

Bang! Bang!

In the corridor, two Heavenly Palace guards were sent flying, hitting the wall and falling.

A tall figure, wielding her battle sword, protected by the slender ribbons around her, fought her way forward alone against a squad of Heavenly Palace guards armed with spears and shields.

Her battle skills were honed through countless trials, her moves sharp and swift, her long sword as fast as lightning, striking precisely and decisively at vital points. No one was a match for her in a single exchange.

One by one, the Heavenly Palace guards fell at her feet.

"It's hard to imagine that this is Asgard, which has made my people wary for so long. It seems you've been too comfortable without war for a long time."

The beautiful and deadly Angela easily dispatched another Heavenly Palace guard, flicked the blood from her sword, and mocked with a hint of doubt in her tone.

The guards, chosen from hundreds to serve as protectors of the Heavenly Palace, looked angry, but the woman's strength was indeed terrifyingly powerful, and they found it difficult to resist her.

"Enough!"

A thunderous roar echoed through the Heavenly Palace, and dark clouds gathered overhead. Thor rapidly swung Thor's Hammer, smashing it down with a boom.

"I don't care who you are, but if you trespass into Asgard, you must be prepared to enter the Underworld!"

The emotions he had suppressed in his heart for days suddenly erupted, like a surging torrent threatening to destroy everything.

Thor's Hammer, wreathed in lightning, whistled through the air, its speed far exceeding sound, like a flash of lightning across the sky.

But...

"Good power, but too slow!"

The red-haired woman dodged with a graceful sway, as easily as avoiding a thrown flower. Thor's Hammer instantly smashed through the hall wall and flew outside.

She swung her sword, breaking through the Heavenly Palace guards' obstruction, and charged towards Thor.

"Are you Thor, the King of Emptiness's eldest son?"

"King of Emptiness?"

With his attacker upon him, Thor couldn't dodge in time and suffered a cut across his chest.

The strength of the person before him was the most powerful he had ever witnessed; she had wounded him in just one exchange.

"Or perhaps the King of Hypocrisy?

In the Heaven, the hypocritical deeds of the one-eyed Odin are widely spread. He always talks empty words about dignity and honor, giving no benefits to his soldiers."

"You are not allowed to call my Father that!"

Whoosh, Thor's Hammer flew back into Thor's hand. He roared in anger, leaping up and swinging the hammer down.

Clang!

A mighty clash of metal resounded, and the surging divine power sent the Heavenly Palace guards flying.

"Strength is not my forte, but your strength isn't enough to push me back either."

"Oh, this hammer…"

Easily parrying with her sword, Angela saw the pink Meow-Meow Hammer in Thor's hand, a strange expression flashed across her face, and she flicked her wrist back.

Thor, the God of Thunder, renowned for his might in Asgard, was actually sent stumbling back several steps. He furiously and shamefully swung his hammer to meet her again.

"Shut up!"

He could foresee that the intruder's next words would certainly not be pleasant.

Clang, clang, clang!

The two continuously exchanged blows, and Thor was actually no match for the woman. He was constantly forced back, the sword light striking at him was beautiful yet dangerous, making all the hairs on his body stand on end.

The ribbons on her body seemed alive, a powerful divine artifact that could help her block attacks.

"Although I am a Wingless of the Heaven, I have, with the long sword in my hand, risen from a lowly position like a beggar to become the Chief Hunter, second only to the Queen."

"Son of Odin, you are not even worth mentioning compared to me."

Her sword's sharp edge grazed Thor's arm, Thor's Hammer flew from his grasp, and the long sword swiftly pressed against his neck.

"However…"

A sharp, cold gleam cut a bloodied line across Thor's neck. His face was pale, and he had no doubt about the long sword's power to kill him.

Angela glanced at the pink Meow-Meow Hammer lying at her feet and chuckled softly.

"Considering your courage, openly admitting your preferences and orientation, I will not kill you!"

She was a lesbian, and in fact, not just her, the entire Heaven had no men, all were lesbians.

She thought that a normal man wouldn't use such a pink hammer as a weapon and display it so brazenly, so Thor could only be gay.

"I'm not…"

Thor angrily tried to argue. He also didn't know which hateful fellow had done this to his beloved Mjolnir.

He hadn't been in the mood to deal with the hammer these past few days, resulting in this misunderstanding.

Thor, who shook the Nine Realms, was not gay!

Swish!

The long sword flashed.

"Shut up, Son of Odin!

My not killing you doesn't mean you'll be unharmed."

Angela's long sword flashed cruelly, a hideous wound cut across Thor's eye. He painfully clutched his profusely bleeding left eye, retreating clumsily, and collapsed to the side.

"I'll spare your life, so you can live on as the Asgardian laughingstock of the Universe."

With that, she quickly arrived in front of Odin's bedchamber, long sword in hand.

The two guards were dispatched in an instant, and the door was kicked open.

Bang!

As soon as the door opened, a figure wielding a short sword attacked.

She swung her long sword, and its immense power directly sent the short sword flying.

Frigga, as Asgard's most powerful magic user, certainly had more than just that trick up her sleeve, but when she saw Angela as she was about to cast more magic to attack the enemy, her expression froze in extreme shock.

That soul-deep familiarity, the familiar bloodline, her lips trembled, unable to believe.

"Impossible… Audreyf…"

"King of Emptiness Odin, return to emptiness!"

Angela paid no mind to what was happening with the woman before her. She had already spotted her target for this trip, her expression like a hunter seeing prey that excited her. She leaped high, sword poised to strike.

The aged figure on the golden bed was the culprit, according to the legends in their Heaven, who had exiled them from the World Tree to the cold fringes of the Universe!

"No!"

Frigga's face was horrified, she stretched out her hand and cried out, as if witnessing the most terrifying thing in the World about to happen: "Child, you cannot kill him!"

But it was too late.

However, the next second…

Rip!

The aged Odin on the golden bed suddenly opened his eyes, his beard and hair flying, and immense divine power swept through the Heavenly Palace. A golden lightning bolt, seemingly solid, appeared in his palm, and his entire body straightened up.

"Sinner, dare to assassinate the God King, I condemn your soul to perish in the lightning!"

The lightning, condensed with astonishing divine power, seemed capable of piercing through everything in the World, and he was about to hurl it.
