"This may be the finale. Read with resolve." (Fou)
"Here, reached the cave's end. Take your proof, vile one," Gilgamesh said, tossing the Chimera's pierced heart before Stheno.
The vessel's control is slipping. Does it have a purpose?
"Well done, heroes. You cleared my cave," Stheno said.
"Spare the flattery. You wouldn't dare call this beast treasure. I could smear your vaunted beauty on the ground," Gilgamesh sneered.
"…"
"Sorry, Hero King. I apologize for my sister's misdeeds with all my spirit," Medusa bowed deeply.
"Hmph, letting your capable sister clean your mess? Some elder. Hard to tell who's the failure," Gilgamesh taunted.
Stheno gritted her teeth.
"I hate you. Truly," she spat.
"Hah, beauty that can't sway a true king is trash. Your charm's only fit for mongrels," Gilgamesh mocked.
"—!"
Stheno's pride was shredded.
I can't defend her this time. She endangered Master with soldiers and a Chimera—she crossed a line.
Just sightseeing, so no lethal harm, but…
"What's that, Gorgeous? Brought a corpse?" Elizabeth interjected.
"Hahaha!" Tamamo Cat laughed.
"Cat!? Elizabeth!?" Ritsuka gasped.
"Hi, little deer. Two deers again… You're not quite a kitten. Deer it is!" Elizabeth chirped.
Elizabeth Báthory, the idol from Orleans, and Tamamo Cat, Master's reliable ally.
"They've got a Cat too? Resign to no communication. Wild Cats lack wit," Nero said.
"Dog speak better?" Gilgamesh asked.
"No master, so Cat's like this. Low IQ. Not my problem, but embarrassing. Shoggyo Muggyo. Amen," Nero sighed.
"Cat speak, then?"
"Worse than France!" Romani groaned.
"Look! Live Nero!" Elizabeth pointed.
"Live Nero? Without a cute base, I'd cut you," Nero retorted.
"Cat, why not in the treasure chest? That was the deal," Stheno sighed.
"Gimme carrots as payment!" Cat demanded.
"You ate them…"
"Eri-Eri! Long time! You good?" Ritsuka asked.
"Of course! Idols thrive on health. You're hustling too, kitten-deer," Elizabeth replied.
"They dug the cave for Big Sister…" Medusa explained.
"Test players, huh? Pathetic goddess' scheme—child's play," Gilgamesh scoffed.
"You wound so effortlessly," Stheno murmured.
An unread epic. Does it hold why he despises gods?
"No mercy for gods. Sparing you is kindness enough," Gilgamesh declared. "Gods who toy and harm humans—I deny their existence."
That's why he loathes gods. They harm his beloved humanity at whim, unforgivable.
"By the way, 'grotesque' originally meant 'unfathomable,' not 'ghastly.' I got called that a lot!" Nero noted.
"No one asked. Now, filth, about your punishment for wasting our time—" Gilgamesh began.
"Wait! Servant signals approaching!" Romani interrupted.
"Me?" Elizabeth asked.
"Hm?" Cat tilted her head.
"What?" Mash blinked.
"Intruders?" Medusa tensed.
"Oh?" Stheno raised an eyebrow.
"More trash washed up on this filth's island?" Gilgamesh sneered.
"Sorry, not you! From the sea!"
A frenzy emerged—Caligula.
"Nero—! Offer your life, your body!"
"Uncle—!" Nero gasped.
"Her uncle?!" Ritsuka exclaimed.
"Beware! He's a Berserker, beyond reason!" Mash warned.
"Beautiful, beautiful…! Nero, my sister's child, offer your goddess-like beauty—I'll ravage you with all I am! I love you!" Caligula raved.
But—
"Nero—!?" A spatial leap (physical) Noble Phantasm blasted him away.
"He flew!?" Ritsuka yelped.
"Master, Mash, Nero—deal with that emperor. I've business with this filth," Gilgamesh ordered.
My soul shudders. What's the vessel planning? No intent to kill, but…
"Sister, I'll go. I'll purge those defiling your home," Medusa said.
"Go, Medusa," Stheno nodded.
"Hero King, please, mercy," Medusa pleaded.
"I won't be cruel. Protect well," Gilgamesh replied.
"Let's go!" Ritsuka rallied, chasing Caligula.
The beach left Gilgamesh and Stheno alone.
"You understand why we're alone," Gilgamesh said.
Before Stheno could reply, a gag silenced her, chains binding her body.
"—!"
The goddess, fully restrained, faced the king.
"You committed countless offenses: gazing at me without permission, deceiving us with false treasure, sending us to our deaths, harming those under my gaze without leave. Guilty without trial."
His crimson eyes gleamed.
"I could tear you apart non-lethally, toss you in filth, and drink as you rot…"
"—!!!"
The goddess, stripped of freedom, pride, and dignity, teared up before his wrath.
Execution crosses my mind—
"But I'll spare you," Gilgamesh declared.
"—!?"
"Master needs all trials to grow. Your fodder and Chimera served as whetstones. They learned Assassin use too."
"…?"
"I'm in a good mood. Most slights I'll laugh off this summoning—most."
"Haha," he laughed.
"You wonder why I bind you despite mercy? I said I'd spare, not absolve."
This flow… I know it. Nameless knows it.
"…!?(What… do you plan!?)"
"You prattle of beauty—laughable. You, a novice goddess, know nothing of true beauty, claiming it with that meager glow."
"—!!"
This is… France…
"Thus—I'll show you—"
That moment—
"True beauty!!"
The cast-off!!
"—!!!"
Wait!! Please!! Her rudeness doesn't justify this! A tickle or spank would suffice! Nuking her leaves nothing! I'm not ready!! Please!!
"Burn this into your soul, your core! True beauty, true art, the true king's radiance!!"
Stop!! She'll die!! I'll bear the Nameless Godslayer title!! I want a gentler name!!
"!!??(Medusa! Save me! Medusa!!)"
"No help comes! Behold!"
It's over.
"A・U・O—!!"
"Cast Off—!!!"
Thankfully, Master and Mash aren't here…
"—!!!!(Medusa—!!??)"
Golden armor flew, his "royal key" (suggestive) roared.
"Hahaha!! Too grand for filth like you! Know your place! This body surpasses the finest diamonds!!"
"!!!!(Medusa! Medusa! Save me—!!)"
"No closing your eyes! Your crimes are absolved by searing this into your gaze! Look!!"
The naked king struck a pose.
"!!!!!(Sorry, Medusa! I love you! I was wrong to tease you! I'll be kind—save me from this golden hell—!!)"
"Gorgeous! The deer are struggling, why're you—Pfft!! Why're you naked again!?" Elizabeth burst out.
"Hahaha! Lucky you, Elizabeth, beholding my form twice! EX Luck, eh!?"
"No way! E's too generous!!"
"—!!!!(Medusa, please, save your foolish sister—!!!)"
"Praise me! That's all you're allowed! Praise!! Hahahahaha!!"
Later, Master and crew defeated Caligula.
"I was wrong… I'm so sorry. I love you, Medusa…" Stheno wept, embracing her sister.
"As apology for my rudeness, I'll share United Rome's capital location. I'll pray for your victory here."
Stheno, reformed, gave priceless intel.
"Umu, beautiful sisterly bond," Nero nodded.
"Elizabeth's out cold… What happened?" Ritsuka asked.
"She learned her place. Hahaha! To Rome, triumphant!" Gilgamesh declared.
"Stop leading, idiot!" Elizabeth groaned.
Two victims this time.
Minimal casualties. Good.
