Chapter 357 - Chapter 357

Chapter 357: Everything Comes to an End

The Primordial God's physical form perished.

As for her consciousness, which had been uploaded to the network, it took a considerable amount of time before it completely faded away.

Because of this, Renji nearly lost his grip on returning to normalcy.

"Don't be nervous, Rossweisse. Believe in yourself—you can do this," he said gently, placing a hand on the silver-haired beauty's shoulder, his expression full of trust.

This Valkyrie was a true genius—a prodigy well-versed in all manner of magical arts.

Since arriving in this world, she had adapted with astonishing speed, fully converting the spells from her original world and even advancing them by integrating the local magical systems. Moreover, she developed her own unique spells—ones that even ordinary gods, no, even chief gods, would be incapable of creating.

It could be said that Rossweisse far surpassed him in this regard.

His own proficiency in magic was partly due to a skill inherited from King Solomon, and partly the result of his long lifespan and extensive studies.

Though Rossweisse was also a Valkyrie, she wasn't one of those who had lived for centuries or millennia—she was actually only around twenty years old.

To reach such heights at such a young age, with magical prowess that could even challenge a chief god, was truly remarkable.

So why was he encouraging her not to be nervous now?

Because Rossweisse was preparing to send Serafall and the others back home.

Using the spells of the Dimensional Shrine Maidens, combined with her own research and the materials provided by Renji, she had successfully developed a spell to return to their original world.

She had already conducted multiple experiments, established communication with the other side, and even performed live tests—sending small animals across without a single failure.

In truth, Renji had been certain it would work from the very first attempt.

But he hadn't said so. He didn't tell her it was guaranteed to succeed, because Rossweisse needed to do this herself—to build her own confidence rather than relying on his assurance, which could foster dependency.

If she couldn't believe in herself without his validation, that wouldn't be a good thing.

So, up until now, he hadn't given Rossweisse a definite answer, only saying that he believed in her.

"Rossweisse, let's begin. We all believe in you."

Serafall also placed a hand on her shoulder, offering a trusting gaze.

"Mhm, I feel the same way."

Irina stepped forward and grasped one of her hands.

"Please believe in yourself, Miss Rossweisse."

Le Fay also stepped forward and took her other hand.

As for the otherworldly shrine maiden Sefaira, she was no longer here. Since Renji had the ability to travel to the FF world, she had already been sent back first.

"I understand!"

With everyone trusting her so much, Rossweisse couldn't afford to be timid anymore.

After taking a deep breath and exhaling, the three people before her stepped into the magic circle.

"Then I'll begin."

Magic power overflowed from her body, causing the magic circle to glow and transform, becoming exceptionally complex.

Immediately after, a luminous ring appeared above their heads.

Upon closer inspection, one could see that the luminous ring was composed of numerous runes and polygonal patterns, formed by combining hundreds of magical spells.

As the luminous ring grew brighter, it began to rotate, and the space within it distorted, gradually forming a dark vortex.

The darkness wasn't because the vortex itself emitted black light, but because the portal was like a black hole, unable to reflect light, resulting in darkness.

"Well then, Serafall, Irina, Le Fay, goodbye~"

"Why say goodbye? It's not like we'll never see each other again."

"That's right."

"So, Miss Rossweisse, please quickly establish the channel between the two worlds~"

Rossweisse would be responsible for this task.

Besides being someone's secretary, she had also been assigned this mission and was given some kind of development director position.

The reason she didn't return with them was, of course, because Renji asked her to stay and help handle affairs. With her around, things really became much easier.

"Mhm~"

After giving a sweet smile, Rossweisse performed the final step.

In the next instant, the three people before her transformed into beams of light and vanished into the vortex.

Thus, Rossweisse couldn't help but feel nervous again.

Only when she received confirmation of their successful arrival did she completely relax.

When someone who has been overly tense suddenly relaxes, their body tends to go limp, and they might collapse to the ground.

But before Rossweisse could slump to the floor, her delicate frame was caught and supported by someone.

"You've worked hard."

"No, not at all~ Ahh~"

Rossweisse let out a delicate cry of surprise, as she was suddenly lifted in a princess carry, making her heart pound fiercely.

Just like that, she was carried away from the specially constructed teleportation platform.

Stare——!

A terrifying gaze made Rossweisse freeze—it must have been from this world's Valkyrie, Brunhilde.

Looking in the direction of the gaze, she indeed saw the Valkyrie staring at her with a frightening smile. So, Rossweisse immediately met her gaze with a fearless expression.

In the blink of an eye—

"Tell me, how much more is there? Is there no end to this?"

Renji felt a headache coming on as he looked at the documents brought over by his two secretaries.

Ever since the matter with Gaia was resolved, he hadn't rested and had been dealing with various tasks. If this continued, he might just end up like the God of the Bible on the other side—dying from overwork.

"Just a bit more. Once we finish these, we can have a day off."

Rossweisse, dressed in a white office lady uniform with stockings, spoke dutifully yet rigidly.

Suddenly, another secretary—a woman in a black office lady uniform with stockings—crawled under the desk, leaving Rossweisse momentarily stunned.

"B-Brunhilde, wh-what are you doing?"

Her question went unanswered, so Rossweisse bit her lip, refusing to admit defeat.

Meanwhile, Renji, who was about to be energized by the two in some way, suddenly froze.

Oh Lord, why have you forsaken me!

A faint voice echoed in his mind—a girl's voice, pleading with him?

After a moment of surprise, his long-dormant system finally responded.
