Vera didn't allow the silence to continue for long this time.
"Fine I accept that you didn't use the technique on purpose, even though I find it hard to believe that someone of that level of power would pay attention us mortals".
Seeing Luck's expression relax in relief, Vera internally chuckled.
"But..."His back tensed up once again."It doesn't change the fact that you not only looked at your father's things without having s permission but still had the gall to study it.
Who knows, maybe that person accessed your memories to make you do that."
Luck hung his head in remorse. He knew his mother was right .
"Now for your punishment"
Luck inwardly groaned as those words floated into his head. This was something he wanted to avoid at all costs.
"Since what you was a long time ago and it wasn't actually your fault that you ended up in that condition, I hereby sentence Luck and Luke Raizer to spend the entire day in their room. For now ".
Luck grew stiff . His mum really knew how to get to him.
One, his dad's mana was still running riot in the room they were in, meaning that the entire living room was akin to divine grade mana well for a low awakener like himself .
Secondly, his mum clearly meant there would be more punishment to come from with that last statement.
From the corner of his eye, he saw Luke jerk awake as he slowly rose to his face, gingerly rubbing the back of his head.

At the end, Luke looked at his mother with a look that screamed dissatisfaction, but he refused from protesting due to his father who was still looking at them like a nuclear waste plant.
Vera suddenly retracted her barrier but neither boys flinched as they sensed their father had reined in his mana as well.
"Now scram!"Dam said instantly, giving the twins no time to start absorbing the rich mana that currently roamed freely through their living room.
There was also no room for disobedience as they reluctantly trudged up to their room.
Looking away from their children's retreating backs, she turned to face her husband.
"What are we going to do now with him?"
Dan's expression turned thoughtful "I guess we should just observe him for now"
"And if she starts to act unusual?"she questioned.
"I suppose we'll cross that bridge when we get there".
Vera nodded on satisfaction as that was her own conclusion as well.
Luck and Luke sighed in relief as they entered the safety of their room.
They were expecting something way worse.
"Oh well" Luck said casually as the door closed seamlessly behind him "I guess we can focus on levelling up our skills".

"I suppose"Luke answered absently"Since we're both on the same rank maybe we can help each other out".
Luck chuckled mockingly"You forgot that I'm now a Meta Rank ".
Luke glanced at his brother with a smirk "I didn't".
Luck jolted "When did you enter Meta Rank?"
He was terribly surprised. Only supreme geniuses could rank up so fast as although they got stat points from monsters, assimilating their cores to actually obtain these points was tasking.

"Last week"Luke answered with a growing grin that screamed pride "That's not the best part though. I got a new summon".

An earhen brown golem of about one metre appeared as it glanced at his master for its orders.
"Rico, this is my brother, Luck"Luke said as the golem extended his hand to shake Luck.
He shook it firmly.

Summoning Freya, she immediately appeared much to the shock of Luke who had been planning to lord this advantage over his brother for the rest of the time he thought he had it.
Luck quickly desummoned Freya as he sat on his bed. "Well we better start" he said cross legged.
"K" Luke replied as he desummoned Rico as well and sat on his own bed in the position Luck was in .
