Mira collapsed face-first onto her dorm bed, arms stretched out as if the mattress were the only safe surface left in the world.
The campus courtyard had been packed beyond anything she expected — banners, voices, club booths everywhere — and squeezing through that crowd just to sign a club form felt like being swept along by a human current.
Her head still rang faintly from all the noise.

Mira let out a slow breath against her pillow.
What kind of person was he really?
And what would it even mean to share a club with someone like that?
