Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 : Heaven, Human World, and Afterlife?

"All right."

The holy light shone brilliantly, washing over the room like a cleansing tide.

"That should take care of the disturbance here. It's just a pity about those who lost their lives..."

Gabriel's face softened with compassion.

Her entire figure radiated holiness, her presence suffused with light.

She looked every bit the image of a pure and merciful angelic maiden.

Had Haruto Amakawa not already carried the foreknowledge of her true identity—the "Fallen Angel Gabriel"—he might have fallen instantly for her perfection.

But he knew better.

With a wave of her hand, Gabriel caused the monster's corpse to vanish. The splattered blood, the frost clinging to the floor, even the shattered window—all of it was restored, as though none of it had ever happened.

The chaotic crime scene had been wiped clean, immaculate once more.

The two angels then turned their gaze toward Haruto.

"Do we still need to erase his memory?"

Gabriel's voice carried a trace of hesitation.

Memory erasure?

Haruto caught the phrase and smiled nervously.

"You two radiant angels aren't planning on erasing my memory, are you?"

"That's correct," Gabriel admitted without pretense.

"We were dispatched after receiving a message from Heaven. A monster crossed over from a newly connected Other World."

"To prevent such creatures from sparking panic in the Human World, we must erase every trace."

Haruto's pulse quickened.

That one statement contained so much—

Heaven, Human World, monsters, Other World connections…

This world was far more extraordinary than he had imagined!

As he pondered how to talk his way out of memory erasure, a familiar sound rang in his mind.

[Ding! As the owner of the chat group, your memory is immune to any manipulation!]

Haruto's eyes lit up.

'Perfect timing, chat group!'

But perhaps it wouldn't even come to that.

Raphiel, who had been quietly studying Haruto, finally spoke:

"Gabriel, he appears to be an Awakened One."

"In that case, he should qualify to retain his memory."

Gabriel blinked.

"Oh, that's true!"

Turning toward Haruto, she asked gently,

"That freezing of the monster—was that your ability?"

"Yes."

Haruto lifted his hand, and cold air swirled softly in his palm, proof enough.

Gabriel and Raphiel exchanged glances and reached their verdict.

"So, he is indeed an Awakened One."

"Very well. We'll report this and apply for memory retention on your behalf."

"But first, you'll need to sign this."

Gabriel conjured a glowing sheet of parchment, its surface divided evenly into black and white, and offered it to him.

"This is a confidentiality agreement, jointly drafted by Heaven, Hell, and the Afterlife Realm."

"Once signed, you must refrain from recklessly revealing the existence of supernatural powers to the Human World."

Seeing his subtle frown, she added softly, "Don't worry. This isn't coercion."

"For minor disturbances, we'll be dispatched to resolve them."

"But for greater disruptions…"

Gabriel's words trailed into silence.

Raphiel finished for her:

"If your actions cause harm on a wide scale, you may face judgment from all three realms."

In other words, as long as he didn't misuse his abilities, there was no danger.

Haruto gave a casual shrug. He scanned the parchment and found nothing alarming—no cursed energy, no hidden trap. It was merely sturdier than normal paper.

Without fuss, he signed his name and pressed his handprint.

"That should suffice, yes?"

Gabriel accepted the paper with a smile as radiant as dawn.

"Yes. Thank you for your cooperation, Mr. Haruto Amakawa."

"You needn't concern yourself with what follows. Leave it to us."

"Come, Raphiel."

Bathed in a cascade of holy light, the two angels vanished as suddenly as they had come.

"Tsk, tsk… it seems the extraordinary keeps coming to find me."

Haruto chuckled, glancing at the now-pristine room.

But the greatest extraordinary thing still lay within him.

「Dimensional Transaction Chat Group」

Sakurajima Mai: "An… angel?!"

Too exhausted to return home, Mai stared in shock.

Mai's slender figure leaned against a wall, too tired to return home. Her waist-length black hair shimmered faintly, sometimes tied with a bunny-shaped barrette. Her blue-purple eyes widened in disbelief as she replayed what she had seen.

First, the bizarre chat group had appeared, its knowledge instantly flooding her mind.

Coupled with the ultra-technological light screen—visible only to her, indescribable yet undeniable—it was impossible to dismiss its reality.

But then, monsters… superpowers… and even angels appearing in the livestream?

It was overwhelming.

She instinctively thought of her own supernatural affliction.

Sakurajima Mai: "Does anyone know how to make someone visible again if they've become invisible to everyone?"

Stella Vermillion: "?"

The princess brushed back her long crimson twin-tails, ruby-red eyes flashing as she typed. Her voluptuous figure and flawless white skin carried the beauty and intensity that matched her title.

Stella Vermillion: "That name… forget it. Just call me Stella."

Stella: "I don't understand what you mean by 'becoming invisible,' but the chat group says we're not from the same world… That's insane."

Stella: "I've never seen monsters or angels like the ones just now."

Stella, princess of the Vermillion Kingdom, had only recently been accepted into Hagun Academy with the highest scores.

Now en route to enroll, the sudden intrusion of the chat group shook her deeply.

Especially after witnessing those angelic figures of light.

Frieren: "Strange… I sense no mana at all."

Frieren: "It isn't magic—not by any law or art I know."

In a mist-laden forest, an elven mage with long silver hair in twin-tails and luminous green eyes studied the chat group in silence. Her robe shimmered white and gold, her pointed ears betraying her race.

She had just slain a demon, nearly distracted mid-battle by the strange voice that had entered her mind.

For now, she could only accept what the group claimed.

Akame: "A transaction? How do we do that?"

Her long black hair flowed down to her knees, crimson eyes sharp as a blade. She stood in her sleeveless top, red tie, pleated skirt, and dark gloves—her assassin's attire.

Akame: "If it's money, Night Raid doesn't exactly have much treasure."

Haruto's gaze swept the screen. One familiar name after another appeared—

Akame, from Akame ga Kill.

Frieren, from Frieren: Beyond Journey's End.

Saeko Busujima, from Highschool of the Dead.

Stella Vermillion, from Chivalry of a Failed Knight.

And lastly—Sakurajima Mai.

Wasn't she the bunny girl he had seen in the library?

[Note: In her world, none could see or touch her—not even the male protagonist. But here, with Haruto, that story was about to change.]

"Wait—so characters from my world are being pulled into this group too?"

[Ding! Your chat group is the 'Dimensional Transaction Chat Group.' Based on your preferences, membership has been locked to 2D female characters.]

"Hiss…"

Haruto winced.

Didn't that just expose his tastes… and ambitions?

"Enough, enough! Don't spell it out!"

"I'll just… check the functions."

[Ding! The chat group currently possesses: Chatroom, Livestream, and Transaction System. Other features remain locked—awaiting your discovery.]

The first two were obvious.

But the Transaction System… that was the core.

「Transaction System」: All members may submit transaction requests to the group leader, Haruto Amakawa.

[Ding! Upon receiving a request, the group leader may select 'Abilities,' 'Possessions,' or 'Energy Matter' from the member.]

[Ding! Based on your preferences, a special option has been added: 'Body Usage Rights'!]

"Bo… Body Usage Rights?"

Haruto's eyes went wide.

Was he that much of a degenerate?

Wait—he wasn't even that old…

"Ahem. All right, fine. I get it."

Flustered by the system's blunt revelation of his desires, Haruto could only sigh. Fortunately, no one else could hear it.

Composing himself, he finally addressed the group.

Haruto Amakawa: "Welcome, everyone, to the Dimensional Transaction Chat Group."

Haruto Amakawa: "You already understand what you need to know."

Haruto Amakawa: "Now… let the transactions begin."
