Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

Tony Stark POV:

I can see everything. I know everything. I know how to make this. I know how I can escape from here without question. It's simple. I'm gonna make an armor. A really good armor.

"Hey, Yinsen. Hand me that," Tony says. "That wire. No, the copper one," he adds, pointing.

"You realize you're building this from soap and missile fragments, Mr. Stark," Yinsen says, sounding very confused. What is Tony Stark doing?

"Yeah, and it's going better than literally anything I've ever built before. And I've built in a billion-dollar lab."

"Your confidence is… quite concerning. Are you sure you're not poisoned? We still don't even know what that fruit was, Mr. Stark," Yinsen replies, clearly worried.

After all… when Yinsen took a bite of the fruit, nothing seemed to happen to him. It did taste like absolute dog shit — and he was gagging hard — but… nothing happened.

"Maybe you got a dud," Tony shrugs. "I hit the jackpot with my bite. Ah—hey, this joint needs more flexibility. Hand me the soap bar over there."

"…The soap? Are you serious? For the armor joints?"

"…It's gonna be fine. You see, mix it with these metal fillings, heat it just right… there we go. Perfect synthetic rubber substitute."

"…You're melting soap. And calling it engineering."

"I'm… speechless."

"Wait, Mr. Stark, are you okay?"

"Why wouldn't I be okay?" Tony says quickly, grabbing random things and snapping them together like LEGO pieces. Somehow, they just fit. What he's making already looks like it has a template — helmet, arms, chest piece — just needs filling and a power source.

"Mr. Stark, maybe you need a little rest. You're sweating. A lot. And your head—"

"My head's fine. It's just working a bit overtime, you know? Calculating everything. Gotta make sure it's right. It's beautiful, Yinsen," Stark says in a calm but rushed voice.

After all, he's building something he never thought possible.

"It… looks painful, Mr. Stark."

"Yeah, well, it's worth it. Two more hours, and we are going to be free."

Captain America POV:

"What is happening?" Steve thinks to himself.

He's been flying for days. At first, he felt tired, but then suddenly, one day, his body just… stopped needing food, stopped needing water. Now he can keep flying without stopping. It's like the sun itself is fueling him — he feels stronger in daylight, more energized — but at night, it's different.

Maybe it's the fire. Maybe he's absorbing the sun's heat, drawing energy from it somehow. That's the only explanation Steve can think of. Or maybe it's just the Super Soldier Serum — though, technically, this is only the second one. There could be side effects even Erskine hadn't discovered yet.

Now, as he's soaring over a mountain range in the Arctic, something catches his attention — heat. A lot of it. Strange, considering there's ice and snow everywhere.

He narrows his eyes. "People," he thinks quickly.

BOOM!

He rockets downward, blasting toward the source and slams into the ground with a perfect superhero landing, shield still strapped to his arm. The impact cracks the ice beneath him. Slowly, Steve rises and starts walking toward a cave entrance ahead.

Inside… there's heat. So much heat. Thousands of tiny signatures.

"There's gotta be at least a thousand people in here," Steve mutters, jogging inside.

He assumes they're trapped, same as he once was — except they don't have a super soldier body or fire powers to keep them alive.

"Hello?" Steve calls out. "Is anyone hurt? Do you need help?"

His voice echoes deep through the tunnels.

"I'm here to help! I'm with the—" he hesitates, "…well, I was with the army."

He walks deeper, shield now slung across his back somehow. And then he enters a massive chamber — and stops dead in his tracks.

"What… the hell?" Steve murmurs.

It's a civilization. A freaking civilization. Entire buildings made of ice, shimmering under the light. But the people living here… aren't human.

No. No, no, no.

Hundreds. Thousands. Thousands of tiny yellow creatures.

And then, silence. Dead silence. Every single one of them — these little… whatever-they-are, with their goggled faces and stubby arms — all turn toward him. Not one moves.

Three seconds pass.

Then one of them shouts:

"BELLO"

Suddenly, chaos. All of them start cheering, screaming, and charging toward him.

"Wait—wait, what?!" Steve stammers, as thousands of little yellow creatures rush him like a tidal wave.

They don't seem threatening, so he stays calm… at first.

"Okay, hey, careful! Careful—WOAH—okay, that's my leg!" One of them clings onto him. Then another. And another.

"Uh—hi? I'm Steve Rogers. I don't understand what you're saying," he shouts over the chaos.

"Bello! Boss!" one shouts excitedly.

"Banana! Boss boss boss!" another chimes in.

"Para tu! Boss!" a third one calls out.

"…You seem… happy to see me," he says, confused, as some of the creatures begin dragging over tiny ice sculptures — gifts.

"Oh, uh, thank you… wait, is that—" He freezes. "That's me."

It's an ice sculpture. Of him.

"…Wait, how do you have this? We've just met."

"BOSS!" one yells.

"Boss come home!" another adds.

"Boss boss boss!" a group chants together.

Steve blinks. "How the hell do they have a statue of me? We've just met. Are they… future-seeing… things? Aliens?"

"Boss here! Boss here!" one celebrates.

"We wait! We wait!" another explains in broken speech.

"Boss finally come!" a third cheers.

He holds his hands up, waving them, trying to calm them down. "Okay, okay, everyone just—relax, alright? Relax!"

…That makes them scream louder.

"BOSS HAPPY!"

"Boss no leave!"

"Boss stay! Boss stay!"

"This is… strange," Steve thinks, looking around.

Seeing the future shouldn't be possible. But if they can…

It really shouldn't be possible. But then again… I'm literally controlling fire. I haven't eaten in days. Maybe impossible isn't the right word anymore.

Could they have known I was coming? Some kind of prophecy?

It sounds insane, but… everything about this situation is insane.

The sculpture is flawless. Every detail — his face, his uniform, even the shield. They should've never seen him before.

And yet… here they are, worshipping him.

"This is… really strange."

GAIA POV:

It was me. I made the minions. Because, well… Steve was just flying, and honestly, it was getting pretty boring to watch. It would take forever for him to find civilization, and I'm pretty impatient sometimes, so… yeah. I decided to make the minions, gave them one order — be obedient to their boss — and then made a statue. A perfect copy of Steve at the time, so they'd know exactly who to follow when the real one shows up.

Now Steve's got thousands of minions following him. I doubt anything could go wrong with that.

The minions are, in a way, the same as the ones from the movies. I tried to make them identical. I even implanted memories into them. Yeah, fake memories, but still — at least they think they have the same origin as in the Minions movie. They came from the sea, they're immortal, yadda yadda, all that good stuff.

Oh, and yeah, they're immortal and invulnerable. That was fun to make. They can't actually be injured — zero blood, zero mess. They're geniuses, too, even though they seem like idiots. Their strength though? Super subpar. Like… ridiculously weak. But hey, I'm proud of them.

Alright, let's check in on everything else happening in the Marvel Universe.

Ghidorah and Godzilla — my creations — haven't met yet. They're still in the Hollow Dimension. And yeah, I made it massive. About the size of a country, so it's huge. Tons of dinosaurs roaming around for them to hunt and grow stronger. They're about the size of an average house right now. Ghidorah's stronger at the moment — easily. His strength right now? Probably equivalent to Superman from Man of Steel. Very strong, but nowhere near his peak. He's going to get way stronger.

Durability's his weak point, but his regeneration? Oh, it's insane. Wolverine-level, maybe even better. Takes just a few seconds to regrow a head, an arm, a tail, even a heart.

I seriously can't wait until Thor finally comes to Earth. I have no idea how I'd get him here earlier — I don't even know where Asgard is — but man, I want him to see Thor strutting around, all confident and ready to fight, and then just… get absolutely bodied by Ghidorah. One lightning-charged atomic blast, a giant apocalyptic storm tearing through cities, Thor's entire ego shattered in seconds. His lightning? Completely useless against Ghidorah. It'll be hilarious.

Alright, back to Earth for now.

Coulson's on the move. He's getting ready to approach David Ramirez. David's still sulking, but he's improving bit by bit. He's even trying self-hypnosis — and it's working.

Now… I need to decide what to do next. I'm not hopping to another timeline for a while. Maybe after the first Avengers-style team-up. But it's not going to be the Chitauri invasion — that's 2011, way too long to wait.

Instead, I'm probably going to have Godzilla and Ghidorah, once they're really strong, just… spawn somewhere on Earth and get ready for their fight. They'll destroy multiple cities, kill a lot of people — you know, classic kaiju chaos. But that's the perfect setup for the Avengers team-up. If they're even still called "Avengers." Could be a different name entirely.

David's definitely gonna be on the team. He's already been scouted by Fury for the Initiative.

Speaking of upgrades, I think I'm gonna give Hawkeye — Clint Barton — a Green Lantern ring. But a limited one. The maximum construct size he can make would be about the size of an average table, but there'd be practically no range limit. He could make anything. Honestly, this is perfect for him. Infinite arrows. Infinite bows. No reloads.

The tricky part is explaining where the power comes from. I don't want abilities to just pop up out of nowhere, they need reasons. David's plant bite, Tony's fruit, Steve's serum… there has to be something. Steve's the only one that's a little weird, but I could explain it away — maybe the super soldier serum reacted with the ice and evolved fire-based abilities as a defense mechanism or something.

For Barton, though, I think I'll go with something like the Aether in Thor: The Dark World. Remember how Jane Foster wandered into that other dimension, found that weird box thing, stuck her hand in it like an idiot, and then — bam — Aether inside her body? Something like that, maybe mixed with a little Shazam style magic where he gets transported to meet some old wizard who tells him about a greater purpose and offers power.

Actually… let's check on Barton real quick.

Zoop!

Ah, okay. So, last month was the whole Budapest thing. It's mentioned across multiple movies. That's when Clint Barton and Natasha Romanoff went after Dreykov — head of the Red Room. Dropped bombs in his daughter's bag to take him out. A few days later, Natasha officially became an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Ohhh, this is gonna be fun.

Author Note -

Tony Stark's pretty hard to write because I'm not smart enough to write him, so I need AI to make random words sound smart. Like, I have no clue what I was writing there. So in the future, when I write Tony Stark, he's not going to be building things. Well, he will, but you won't see the process because that's just way too hard to write.

Also, give me some ideas for powers that people in the MCU could have that you want. Like, Hawkeye's going to get the discount Green Lantern ring that I'm gonna make for him. You could even request original characters if you want me to add them, or maybe characters from different universes. I could make Batman by implanting someone with fabricated Bruce Wayne and Batman memories. They'll probably think they're Batman reincarnated because DC is a comic in the Marvel world, lol.
