Alexander Pierce, former Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and now Secretary, stood up from his leather sofa, his tone losing some composure as he barked into the radio.
"R-Reporting, Secretary," came the quick response from the special operations team leader. "Captain America has escaped from S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters. The fighter jets failed to stop him. Additionally, Shockwave and that boy are currently missing, vanished from all surveillance across the facility…"
Pierce's face went pale with anger. "Mobilize every agent and intelligence operative in headquarters. Find Captain America and deal with him. As for Shockwave and that child, they must still be inside. Conduct a full-floor sweep immediately!"
