Chapter 8: Ereshkigal's Bikini
"Everyone, Mom's home~."
Just as Li Lin was about to tease Eresh again, a gentle female voice came from outside the room. The two of them walked out to see a tall, beautiful woman in a blue one-piece dress entering through the foyer.
"Oh my, has my dear Eresh-chan finally decided to come out of her room?" Tiamat's star-like eyes lit up when she saw Ereshkigal. "Mommy is so happy."
Without another word, she rushed forward and pulled Ereshkigal into a tight hug, giving the goddess of the Underworld the full "motorboat" treatment.
"Mmph, c-can't... breathe~!" Ereshkigal's entire head was buried in Tiamat's enormous chest. If Li Lin hadn't been there to intervene, she might have been the first goddess to be taken out by the dream itself.

"Phew~, I thought I was going to die," Ereshkigal gasped from the living room sofa, patting her chest with a look of lingering fear. Her gaze towards Tiamat now held a hint of reverence.
So this is the overwhelming pressure of the Primordial Mother? It was enough to make even her, a goddess of death, feel the fear of dying. Truly terrifying!
Li Lin found her reaction amusing, thinking to himself, Is this the gap between the flat-chested and the well-endowed? He then turned to Tiamat. "By the way, Mother, did you buy something on your way back?"
"Oh, this!" Tiamat's eyes lit up at his question. She excitedly placed the bags she was carrying on the coffee table. "I heard your company is on holiday for the next few days, didn't I? So, Mommy was thinking, why don't we go on a family trip for a few days? It's the middle of summer, and Eresh-chan is willing to come out now, so I bought some swimsuits. I want to go to the beach with my children. Is that okay?"
"Oh, the beach? I don't mind," Li Lin replied, seeing the excitement in her eyes.
They discussed where to go. Although Eresh said she wanted to go mountain climbing, she eventually changed her mind and agreed to the beach trip. Caught up in the excitement, Tiamat immediately pulled Eresh by the hand and ran into a room to try on the new swimsuits.
About ten minutes later, after a flurry of commotion, the closed door slowly opened. Tiamat emerged first, clad in her swimsuit.
"Pfft—!"
The moment Li Lin looked over, he nearly choked. Tiamat's swimsuit was incredibly daring. It consisted of just a few scraps of fabric barely covering the essential areas, leaving almost everything else exposed. Her smooth skin seemed to have a faint pinkish glow.
"Um, Mother, are you sure that's a swimsuit and not... something else?" Li Lin's lip twitched. "That's way too revealing!"
He knew that revealingly-dressed goddesses weren't unheard of in the Age of Gods. Ishtar, for instance, flew around in her underwear all the time. Ereshkigal of the Underworld likewise only wore a small pair of black panties. But this!! He had never seen exposure on Tiamat's level before. It felt like aside from three little dots, practically everything was on display. His perception of goddesses had been shattered once again.
"Revealing? I think it's fine," Tiamat said, looking down at herself in confusion. As a goddess representing the sea, she had originally planned on wearing nothing at all. But Ereshkigal had vehemently opposed the idea, so she had reluctantly picked one out. And now, before she could even show off how good she looked, she was being scolded by Li Lin. Her mood soured, and she pouted unhappily.
"Alright, alright, Mother, you look beautiful in anything," Li Lin sighed, seeing her crestfallen expression. "But you have to consider the people around you. I booked a deserted beach in the countryside, but we can't be sure there won't be other people. As your child, I don't like other people staring at my mother."
"Oh, I see. I'm sorry, I didn't consider my child's feelings," Tiamat's expression immediately brightened upon hearing his explanation. Though a mother, her personality was more like that of a child; she was very easy to please.
A few minutes later, Tiamat, now in a different swimsuit, emerged from the room again, pulling a shy and reluctant Eresh with her.
"How about this? This outfit should be okay, right?" Tiamat did a little spin in front of Li Lin. The turbulent waves of her chest swayed dramatically, making his eyelids twitch.
"Yes, that's fine," Li Lin nodded, having no objections to her new swimsuit. At least the important parts were covered. In fact, aside from her stomach and thighs being exposed, it was rather conservative.
"Th-then... what about me?" Ereshkigal asked in a voice as faint as a mosquito's buzz, twisting her arms nervously.
Li Lin turned to look.
Ereshkigal was wearing a black bikini, adorned with a golden skull ornament between her neck and chest, and a red sash tied around her waist. Her hair, usually tied back, was now in a high golden ponytail with a red ribbon. The black crown on her head was much smaller, worn tilted to the side like a hair clip.
Li Lin was completely stunned.
"S-so... cute!!" he muttered unconsciously.
When his words reached Ereshkigal's ears, her face instantly turned beet red.
"Mmph~~!" She let out a soft, cute whimper, bit her lower lip, and her red eyes darted away from his gaze.
