"How are we going to do about the doctor?" Daniel asked. It was already 9 p.m., and which hospital or medical personnel would attend to them so late, or even leave their work to come to him?
Alexander didn't have an answer to that. He had laid Draven on Daniel's bed, and the guy was rolling restlessly, clutching his stomach in pain. Daniel grew more worried.
This was getting worse. If only the door had been opened earlier, they might have entered and settled this before Draven's stomach began hurting.
"Is it too painful?" Daniel questioned, trying to see if he could help ease the pain, but Draven only rolled more violently.
Alexander saw the fear trembling in Daniel's hands and finally spoke up.
"You don't need to be so afraid. I have a friend. This time, I'll go and call her myself to avoid any stupid stories about something terrible happening," Alex assured, and Daniel was gladdened.
