Morning came as usual, and at this time no one disturbed Daniel—which was a first.
He blinked and looked around, finally awakening after hours of long rest from the constant stress being Xylander's groom was putting him through.
"Wonder what the time is??" Daniel glanced at the table clock and to his horror, it was already 12 p.m.
The hell!!! No one even thought of waking him.
"Are you sure we shouldn't wake him? It's been hours, and isn't he starving??" a deep voice outside asked. From the sound, Daniel could tell it was Alexander.
"How could the fool let me sleep this long—it's so unhealthy, for Christ's sake." Daniel muttered irritably to himself, clearly annoyed for no reason.
"Alexander!!!" he screamed, and just then the door flew open with Draven and Alexander rushing inside.
"Are you injured? Do you want breakfast—I mean lunch??" Draven blurted nervously, trying to calm his own nerves that spiked when Daniel yelled.
