How to extract dark magic by using body enhancement to contract with a demon cult.
"Which cult?" I wondered, confused by the phrase 'cult of the demon.' I continued reading the line: There are seven cults, which are the seven children of the King of Demons. Their power flows from the source of the Greater Demon. They are also known as the Seven Sins. The person who builds this extraction core can inherit the Dark Magic core by showing their worth to the King's children.
"Hmm, quite interesting," I murmured to myself. First, one must maintain a strong body—strong enough to rival the body that cut the tree—and a strong mind to hold the energy. I read through all the steps for performing this art and preparing the necessary items. Show worth first: I must build this body to perform the task. Then, the enhanced body and strong mind will be ready to inherit and hold the power.
After reading and making a plan in my mind, the energy I have will turn into real strength that will help me reach my goals.
Feeling a surge of energy, I moved toward home. As I walked, I saw the morning star fade. "It's getting morning now," I whispered. I silently climbed the stairs to my room, where I had hidden my new katana and the book beneath the bed. I collapsed onto the mattress and instantly fell asleep.
Suddenly, the door opened, and a woman in a nightgown stepped into the room. She came near the bed, and in the moonlight, she became visible. It was Alice. She moved her hand in a gentle brush of Rudra's hair and said, "Oh, baby, what happened to you? Why are you isolating yourself?" After watching him for a while, Alice quietly moved out of the room.
In the morning, the sun rose high in the center of the sky. Alice, tired of shouting his name, moved to Rudra's room. He was still sleeping soundly in the bed. She came over and shouted, shaking Rudra to wake him up, "Wake up, boy; it's too late!"
Rudra woke up and sighed deeply. "What happened, Mom? Why did you wake me up early?"
Alice reacted sharply. "Early? It's early? You've been sleeping all morning; it's going to be afternoon!"
He woke from his half-sleep, eyes flying open. "What? Is it going to be afternoon?" He practically flew out of his room and rushed toward the stairs.
Alice chased him. "Rudra, first freshen up and come to lunch. Your father is coming for lunch. Your brother also got back to the compound; he will come too. He'll shout if he finds out you just woke up."
"I know, Mom," I replied. This is a danger sign; I never sleep this much.
After quickly freshening up, I came to the table for lunch. I was already late; Father was seated, and I tried—and failed—to sit down without being noticed.
When I tried to sit, Father spoke up. "Rudra, were you still sleeping in your room?"
"No, Father," I said.
"Don't lie to me. Look at your little brother; he wakes early and practices harder. He is younger than you, and yet you are still sleeping. You should feel ashamed of yourself; it feels like you are just hopeless. How can you be so irresponsible, kid? Even if you are not practicing, you should at least know how to apologize."
"Sorry, Father," I mumbled in a low voice. "I only know that much to tell now."
Interrupting, Erik said, "Father, leave it. Let's eat first. I'm hungry."
Father heard and nodded. "Thanks, Erik," I thought, seeing him to acknowledge the help.
After eating and enduring another of Father's lectures—a lecture that made my hands shake—I moved back to my room and retrieved the book and sword from beneath the bed. But now a big problem came: How could I move them without being noticed?
After thinking it over, I placed the items back down on the bed. Then, wearing a black t-shirt and pants, I left home for the new location. My direction was changing; it wasn't the usual spot I went to with my friends, but a different one entirely.
I moved toward the forest area, taking a small sword for protection in case anything happened. While moving, I heard the temple bell ringing. Oh, it was noon prayer time.
I moved toward the temple. The Goddess statue stood there, holding a flower in one hand, a sword in another, a book in a third, and giving a blessing from her fourth. I bowed my head and clasped my hands before the statue.
Then the priest came after the noon prayer (Aarti). He said, "It's been a long time since I saw you, Rudra. Why have you not been coming?"
I offered my greeting, and he acknowledged it. "I just got busy with my training," I said.
He smiled kindly. "Yes, my boy, I understand." He paused, his smile widening. "It's a nice time. Why don't you ask the goddess what you want? She always listens; if it's in your destiny and it will be useful, she will give it to you."
Seeing the encouragement in the priest's face, I stepped forward, knelt before the statue, and clasped my hands. As my hands began to shake, I recited the prayer: "To that Devi Who in All Beings is Abiding in the Form of Power, Salutations to Her, Salutations to Her, Salutations to Her, Salutations again and again (Yaa Devi Sarva-Bhutessu Shakti-Ruupenna Samsthitaa. Namas-Tasyai Namas-Tasyai Namas-Tasyai Namo Namah ||)."
After the prayer and greeting the priest, I felt my mind clear, leaving all burdens in the temple as I moved toward the forest.
