Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: Knight of the Sea Jinbe

Meanwhile, in the video, Luffy was still hesitating about whether to release Crocodile.

Suddenly, a man's voice came from a nearby cell.

〖"Could you take me as well? This is the request of a lifetime.

I can definitely help. I met Mr. Ace when he first joined the Whitebeard Pirates.

Back then, he often told me about you.

When I learned Mr. Ace had been captured and was to be publicly executed, I opposed this war.

As a result, I was imprisoned here.

And now, I still want to save Mr. Ace. Please, let me join. I wish to do my part for Mr. Ace."

Hearing Jinbe's request, and knowing his identity, Luffy thought it over and finally decided to release him.

However, Inazuma was still somewhat worried. "Is this really alright? We have no idea how dangerous this guy is or what his character is like. What if he's tricking us? After all, he's a powerful pirate and a Warlord. If we have to fight him, it will probably take a lot of effort."

But even after Inazuma expressed his concerns, Luffy remained firm in his decision.

"It's fine. Let him out. I trust him."

So, Inazuma used his Clip-Clip Fruit ability again to release Jinbe.

Additionally, with Ivankov and Luffy's permission, he also released Crocodile.

Thus, the escape team was officially assembled and began preparing to break out of Impel Down.〗

[Pirate 1: The Knight of the Sea Jinbe has also joined Straw Hat's group! They should be starting their official prison break now!]

[Pirate 2: And they must have succeeded. I just wonder how they did it.]

[Pirate 3: I never expected Impel Down, known as an iron fortress, could actually be successfully broken out of. It's truly astonishing.]

[Pirate 4: Just keep watching. If we keep watching, we should be able to figure out the truth.]

As soon as this pirate finished speaking, the video showed Luffy's group springing into action.

〖"Desert La Spada."

Crocodile used the power of his Sand-Sand Fruit to create a large hole in the ceiling.

Then, Inazuma used his Clip-Clip Fruit ability to turn the floor into a staircase.

The group used the staircase to escape.

Afterwards, they led everyone from Newkama Land and began preparing for the full-scale prison break.

Their abilities were formidable and unstoppable. The ordinary guards were no match for Luffy's group and were quickly defeated.

Meanwhile, on Level 2, Buggy, taking advantage of the chaos, once again released the prisoners on his level, further muddying the waters.

Then, the scene shifted again, showing someone new arriving at Impel Down.〗

[Pirate 1: My god! Straw Hat and the others are truly unstoppable now! Those guards can't resist them at all!]

[Pirate 2: No wonder they succeeded in escaping. These people are so strong!]

[Pirate 3: Strange. Who is this newly appeared man? Why did the camera focus on him?]

[Pirate 4: That person... that person is...]

[Pirate 5: It's Blackbeard, Marshall D. Teach! Isn't he one of the new Warlords? Why is he going to Impel Down?]

[Pirate 6: I feel like there's some kind of conspiracy here...]

Blackbeard's appearance puzzled the viewers.

However, most guessed that Blackbeard was probably also involved in the Impel Down incident.

〖Blackbeard's scene was brief. The next second, the camera returned to Luffy's group.

Facing numerous guards, Crocodile skillfully turned into a sandstorm and defeated all the enemies.

Luffy and Jinbe also used their powers to defeat their opponents.

Then, Vice Warden Hannyabal appeared, brandishing his bisento, and stood before the group.

"You bastards, surrender! The staircase to Level 3 is guarded by a thousand guards armed with prison bazookas! You have nowhere to run!"

He delivered a fierce threat, but Luffy's group paid him no mind.

Luffy simply said sternly, "Move aside," and prepared to charge forward.

Angered by their attitude, Hannyabal decided to stop holding back and attacked.

"Hannyabal Festival: Inferno Hell Carriage!"

He spun his weapon rapidly, creating roaring flames, and charged at Luffy.

Hannyabal's attack looked intimidating. Luffy also prepared his move, using his strongest attack at the time: "Gomu Gomu no Jet Gatling!"

Countless fists pummeled towards Hannyabal. The audience expected him to hold out for a while, but he was knocked to the ground instantly.

After knocking him down, Luffy decided to continue forward.

Unexpectedly, Hannyabal stubbornly got back up and blocked Luffy's path again. "I won't let you pass!"

Luffy knocked him down again, but Hannyabal tenaciously got back up and stood in his way again.

Worried about Ace, Luffy attacked once more. Hannyabal was knocked down again and again, but he kept getting back up.

"You notorious pirates, talking about saving your big brother! Because of you, ordinary citizens can't live their lives in peace! As long as you exist, they will lose sleep because of you!

So, to protect these weak citizens, we, the Marines, must lock you vile criminals away in hell! And this place is the great fortress of hell! If this place is destroyed, what hope do the people have? I will absolutely not let you pass, even if it costs me my life!"

Hannyabal's words inspired the guards fighting alongside him.

Even though they knew they were no match for Straw Hat Luffy and the others, they excitedly charged forward again.〗

[Civilian 1: How did this Hannyabal even become Vice Warden? His attack power is so weak. Did he get the job through connections?]

[Civilian 2: Right! Before this, if he hadn't been fooled by Bon Clay transformed into "Nami," this situation probably wouldn't have happened.]

[Marine 1: But to be fair, even though Hannyabal is weak, his words really hit home.]

[Marine 2: Right! Just based on his actions later, blocking Straw Hat Luffy's path... Hannyabal, I respect you as a man!]

[Marine 3: What Hannyabal said makes sense. To protect those weak citizens, we must fight these pirates to the end.]

[Civilian 3: I don't know why, but I thought Straw Hat kid and the others were okay before. But after hearing Hannyabal's words, I feel like it's the Marines who truly care about us civilians.]
