Chapter 65 - Chapter 65: Sabo Regains His Memories

[Pirate 1: Oh my god! Fire Fist Ace's chest was pierced right through! There's no way he can survive that!]

[Pirate 2: As expected, Fire Fist Ace alone was no match for Akainu.]

[Pirate 3: Fire Fist Ace was too impulsive! If he hadn't gone back, this wouldn't have happened!]

[Pirate 4: But he did it to protect Straw Hat! Otherwise, he wouldn't have been killed by Akainu.]

[Pirate 5: But don't forget, Straw Hat pushed his body to the limit trying to save him, which is why he couldn't move!]

[Pirate 6: To think the Whitebeard Pirates paid such a heavy price, and Fire Fist Ace still died in the end.]

[Pirate 7: And I think there's more. Don't forget Whitebeard is also severely injured; he probably won't last long either. Perhaps the summit battlefield will be Whitebeard's burial ground.]

[Pirate 8: After this battle, the Whitebeard Pirates probably won't be a major force anymore.]

[Pirate 9: Who would have thought the trigger for all this was just one Fire Fist Ace?]

Whitebeard Pirates

"Ace! How could this happen?"

Marco stared at the scene on the video, completely unable to believe that Ace had really died.

The others felt the same.

They had put in so much effort, Ace had even been successfully rescued, yet he was still killed by Akainu in the end.

Was everything they did in vain?

For a moment, the pirates' morale plummeted.

Despite everyone's state, Whitebeard remained completely unaffected.

"My sons, do not be disturbed by the Sky Screen. Remember, our Ace is not hurt yet; he is still waiting for us to save him. And Ace can see the video too. I believe after this, he definitely won't fall for Akainu's provocations again."

"Pops is right! We can't be influenced by the Sky Screen! Everyone, cheer up! What happened in the video hasn't occurred yet! We still have a chance to change it!"

Hearing Whitebeard's words, Marco agreed and tried to boost morale.

"Right! We will definitely protect Ace properly on the battlefield later!" the other crew members chimed in.

Impel Down Group

"Ace..."

Luffy watched the Ace on the Sky Screen with a pierced chest and the Vivre Card burning to ashes, feeling dazed.

He couldn't imagine his dearest brother having his life taken right before his eyes, especially to protect him. He simply couldn't accept it.

Luffy looked mournfully at Ace on the screen, unconsciously stretching out his arms as if to hug him, but ultimately touching nothing.

Ivankov watched nearby, concerned. "Straw Hat Boy..."

Just then, Buggy, unable to stand seeing him like this, spoke up:

"Hey, Straw Hat! Snap out of it! What happened in the video hasn't happened yet! Your brother is still alive! Hurry up and pull yourself together! Don't forget, you still need to save him!"

Buggy's words were like a ray of warm sunlight piercing the sudden darkness in Luffy's world.

He was right. Ace was still waiting for him to save him. He absolutely couldn't be defeated by a video.

Thinking this, Luffy wiped the tears that had unconsciously streamed down his face and gazed forward with determination.

Ace, wait for me. This time, I will absolutely not let anything happen to you, even if it costs me my life.

Revolutionary Army Ship

"Ah..."

The moment he saw Fire Fist Ace get hurt, Sabo suddenly felt a sharp pain in his head.

He collapsed to the ground in agony, the pain in his head unbearable.

Robin, watching nearby, was very worried.

"Sabo, what's wrong? We didn't bring a doctor, and we can't find one at sea right now! What should we do?"

She watched Sabo writhing painfully on the ground, unsure what to do.

Fortunately, it didn't take long for Sabo to gradually recover.

When he came to, he ignored Robin's concerned questions nearby. Instead, he looked sorrowfully at Ace and Luffy on the Sky Screen, tears streaming uncontrollably.

"Ace... Luffy... I remember everything now. I'm so sorry... it took me until now to remember. But it's not too late. I can still go save you. Wait for me, Ace. And Luffy... I look forward to seeing you on the battlefield."

Robin, hearing Sabo's words, looked shocked. "Sabo... do you know Ace and Luffy?"

"Yes," Sabo nodded. "We are brothers."

Windmill Village

"Ace!"

The bandit Dadan's family and Makino were all in disbelief.

They never expected Ace to actually lose his life, especially right in front of Luffy.

They had thought Ace and Luffy would escape together, only to be met with this outcome. For a moment, everyone struggled to accept this reality.

"Damn it! I'm going to settle accounts with Garp!" Dadan slammed the table and tried to charge out, but the other bandits quickly stopped her.

"Boss! Calm down! Remember, Ace isn't dead yet! Luffy will definitely save him this time!"

"Right!"

Though Dadan knew they were right, she couldn't help but weep for the Ace in the video.

Red Hair Pirates

"To think Fire Fist Ace still died in the end... Luffy probably couldn't accept it," Lucky Roux said worriedly.

"Luffy seemed to value this brother greatly. I wonder how the him in the video recovered from something like that," Ben Beckman shared his thoughts.

"So this time, we must not fail. We must bring Fire Fist Ace and Luffy out safely," Shanks stated his resolve firmly after hearing them.

The rest of the pirate crew nodded in agreement.

Wano Country

"Brother Ace..."

Tama watched the lifeless Ace on the Sky Screen, crying uncontrollably, utterly unable to accept this scene.

"Why was Brother Ace killed? Brother Ace was such a good, good person... He hasn't even fulfilled his promise to me yet... Why did he lose his life like this?"

Meanwhile, Yamato, imprisoned by Kaido, also saw this scene.

"How could this be? Ace, he actually... Damn it! My only friend is in trouble, and I can't help at all! I'm even locked up and can't get out! What should I do? Ace, how can I save you?"

Speaking, she suddenly made a decision. "No! I can't just wait around! I have to escape from here! I must go save Ace!"
