Screen 1 – 3 Years Later
Three years have passed since the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament. Sonic is now not using any Chaos Emeralds. Goku, Sonic, and Krillin travel to Master Roshi's river training area, where they encounter Master Shen, Tien Shinhan, and the Chiaotzu brothers preparing for the tournament
Screen 2 – Tournament fight highlights

Seeing Goku struggle, Sonic activates the Red Chaos Emerald, gaining a massive power boost:

Fire Manipulation: Can create explosive fire bursts from punches and kicks.

Fight Dynamics:

Tien struggles to react, dodging some attacks, but the speed and power are unlike anything he has faced before.
Tien notes, "This is strong… like Goku, but faster!"

Despite Tien's skill and four-hand techniques, Sonic pushes forward relentlessly.
After a long fight, Tien begins losing strength. Sonic finishes the battle with a Spin Dash, defeating Tien.
