"Just as I feared, it is the same woman after all," Kaede states, causing us all to turn to her.
"Who are you talking about?" Inuyasha asks. "Is she talking about Tsubaki?" I wonder as I slightly tilt my head.
"The priestess who was passed over for my sister Kikyo," Kaede answers, causing my eyes to widen. "She's Kikyo's sister? Wait... Just how long has that priestess been dead?!" I wonder as similar thoughts begin to rush through my head.
"I never imagined she would turn to the dark side." Kaede declares, causing Inuyasha to put on an annoyed expression.
"Who the heck cares what happened in the past? I want to know where she is now!" Inuyasha proclaims as I begin to feel an ominous aura along with the Sacred Jewel, but then I hear Kagome gasp.
"What's the matter, Kagome?" Inuyasha's questions, caused me to glance over at Kagome. "She must feel it too..." I think as I ball my hands into fists.
"Deep inside, I sense the Sacred Jewel," Kagome responds as she points forward, causing Inuyasha to turn.
"Wait. This area could be dangerous." Kaede warns, causing Kagome, Inuyasha, and Songo to turn to her, and I nod as a chill runs down my spine.
"What do you know about this place, Kaede?" Songo asks.
"Legend tells of an Ogre that was sealed away in this region," Kaede answers as I look over towards the mountain to see a red aura emanating from it.
"An Ogre?" Kagome questions. "If what I'm sensing is the Ogre... We might be in some serious trouble." I think, while putting on a slightly worried expression.
"We can't afford to stand around any longer." I point out as I begin running.
"Right!" Inuyasha calls out as he rushes after me, causing everyone to rush after us. Running through the forest, I feel us drawing closer to the Jewel Shards, causing me to look up to see what looked like a tower.
"Over there!" Kagome calls out as Demons begin to come out of the trees.
"Demons..." I trail off as we stop in our tracks.
"Humph. Figured they'd be here." Inuyasha remarks as he draws his sword.
"Get out of my way! Hyah!" Inuyasha bellows as he slices one of the demons in half, causing me to draw my own sword.
"Die!" I demand as I slash one of the demons, but I see it turn into paper. "Tsubaki and her damn Shikigami!" I think as Songo readies her weapon.
"Hiraikotsu!" Songo shouts as she throws her weapon, hitting several demons, causing them all to turn to paper as well.
(To Miroku)
"Hmm?" Miroku sounds as he looks down at Momiji as she begins groaning and slowly opens her eyes.
"You've finally come to." Miroku points out, causing Momiji to scream as she quickly scoots back away from him.
"You again!" Momiji bellows.
"Calm down. I have no intention of harming you. I just..." Miroku trails off.
"Just what?" Momiji asks, causing Miroku to come up to her and grab both her hands.
"I just want to ask if you will bear my children," Miroku answers, causing Momiji to let out a nervous chuckle, but then Miroku rushes over to Botan, who has just woken up.
"How about you? Would you be willing to have my children? " Miroku questions.
"Hmm?" Botan sounds with a confused expression, causing Momiji to jump up and glare at him.
"Not very choosy, are you?!" Momiji exclaims, causing Miroku to look over at her.
"There's enough of me to go around." Miroku points out as Shippo and Kirara walk up.
"Hi. You're both finally awake." Shippo greets while holding a water container.
"Hmm?" Momiji and Botan chorus.
"There's the little Demon!" Botan proclaims, causing Momiji to grab out a Sutra.
"Keep your distance!" Momiji demands as she points it towards Shippo.
"Huh?" Shippo sounds out with a surprised expression.
"You're mistaken. Shippo is the one who has taken care of you all this time." Miroku informs, causing the girls to look over at him.
"Huh? This Demon has?" Botan asks as she turns back to Shippo.
"I was ordered by (Y/N) and the others not to touch you two, and so that left Shippo to take care of both you ladies," Miroku answers.
"Maybe I shouldn't have bothered!" Shippo proclaims, causing both girls to walk over to him, while they still have their Sutras in their hands.
"You mean he's not a bad demon?" Momiji questions, causing Shippo to turn away from them.
"I have never hurt a Human." Shippo insists with an annoyed expression.
"Are you certain?" Botan asks as she and Momiji exchange looks as Miroku stands up off the ground.
"It's completely understandable that Priestesses such as yourselves would consider all Demons bad." Miroku addresses, but then laughter begins to sound out.
"Hmm? What's wrong?!" Miroku exclaims as he looks over.
"So cute!" Botan chirped as she was hugging Kirara.
"Adorable!" Momiji beamed as she hugged Shippo, but Botan then turned and hugged him.
"I love his tail! And these ears!" Momiji adds as she grabs Shippo's ears and tail, causing Shippo to jump out of Botan's arms.
"Miroku!" Shippo calls out as he goes to run towards him. However, Momiji catches him and pinches his cheeks as Botan is carrying Kirara.
"That's the price you'll have to pay in order to prove you're not a bad Demon," Miroku explains as he then looks away with a sigh.
"Lucky you..." Miroku trails off as Momiji picks up Shippo and looks over at Miroku.
"Tell us, why do you hunt down Tsubaki?" Momiji questions as Botan looks over at Miroku as well.
"Yes. Isn't that Inuyasha fellow a really bad Demon?" Botan asks, causing Miroku to turn to them.
"Listen, Tsubaki cursed Kagome to send her to her death," Miroku answers.
"Impossible!" Momiji barked.
"She wouldn't!" Botan adds.
"Now, I don't know what Tsubaki told both of you, but she's a Dark Priestess, and she curses innocent people," Miroku states.
"Hmm?" Momiji and Botan chorus as they look at each other.
(To (Y/N) )
"Hah! That was hardly worth the effort." Inuyasha insists after slashing the last demon with his claws, causing me to let out a sigh as I sheath my sword.
"Indeed. Those Shikigami were not strong at all." Kaede agrees as we look down at all the paper on the ground.
"Does that mean Tsubaki's power is beginning to weaken?" Songo asks, causing Kagome to look over at her.
"But why, though? She has the Sacred Jewel." Kagome questions as Inuyasha looks over at us.
"She probably doesn't know how to use it properly. Let's keep moving. Come on." Inuyasha responds as he begins running. "I've got a really bad feeling." I think as we all begin running after Inuyasha. As we made it to the Tower, I began to notice the sky becoming darker, but even though I could feel the Sacred Jewel, the aura I felt earlier was completely gone.
"This is it?" Inuyasha asks as we all stop in our tracks.
"Yeah," Kagome answers.
"What is this Tower?" Songo asks as I then begin to feel a familiar Demon presence, causing me to glare at the Tower doors. "Great, it has to be her..." I think that as the wind begins to blow harder than before.
"The place where you'll die." A voice rings out as the Tower doors open to reveal Kagura standing there. Suddenly, the wind picks up even more, causing everyone to groan.
"Kagura..." I trail off as I stand my ground with a glare.
"Hello, (Y/N)." Kagura greets with a sinister grin.
"You again." Inuyasha remarks.
"I knew it. Naraku and Tsubaki have both joined forces." Songo points out, and I nod. "Yeah, because of me..." I think as I grit my teeth.
"Naraku's with her, huh? That's all the better. I'll kill all three of you while I'm here." Inuyasha threatens as he cracks the knuckles in his fist. "No, if Kagura's here, then that's a dead giveaway Naraku's nowhere near here... Pity, I was planning to confront him!" I think as Kagura brings up her fan, causing me to ready myself.
"Ha! Don't be so hasty. I'm not the one you should be battling, Inuyasha. I merely came here today to witness your tragic deaths... Especially yours, (Y/N)." Kagura informs as she then jumps away, causing me to look over and see her jump into one of her feathers.
"Get back here!" I demand, but the sound of growling causes me to look back at the Tower doors to see red eyes shining in the darkness. Suddenly, the Demon steps out of the Tower, allowing us to see he's dressed from head to toe in armor.
"Huh. This'll be easy. It's probably just another Demon Puppet." Inuyasha points out as he draws his sword.
"Hyah!" Inuyasha screams as he goes to slice the Demon, but he draws his sword and pushes Inuyasha back.
"Inuyasha!" Kagome calls out, but Inuyasha lands on the ground.
"Huh. He's a little stronger than I figured. Try and stop this!" Inuyasha calls out as he swings his sword on the ground, making a Wind Scar heading straight for the Demon.
"Dance of blade!" Kagura bellows as she sends out several blades of air towards the Wind Scar, cancelling it out. The Demon rushes over towards Inuyasha and hits him with its sword. "Damn it... It'd be best to take her out first!" I think as I place my hand on the hilt of my sword.
"You're hardly an observer, Hiraikotsu!" Songo shouts as she throws her weapon towards Kagura, as I draw my sword.
"Just staving off boredom." Kagura points out as she uses her fan to redirect Songo's weapon.
"Why don't I help you then!?" I exclaim as I go to slash at her with my sword.
"Dance of Blades!" Kagura proclaims, causing me to dodge the blades of air, but I then hear Inuyasha sound out.
"Inuyasha!" Kagome calls out, causing me to look back and see the Demon getting ready to bring its sword down on him. At the last second, Inuyasha jumps away, causing me to let out a sigh.
"You're really starting to piss me off." I insist, causing Kagura to grin.
"Dance of the Dragon!" Kagura chirps while waving her fan, causing tornadoes to head towards Inuyasha. "I felt bad for you before, but now I don't care!" I think as I rush after Kagura, while readying my sword.
"Die!" I demand as she barely dodges it, but I then hear Inuyasha sound out once again. Jumping up, Kagura goes to use another attack, causing me to grit my teeth.
"No, you don't!" Kagome's voice rings out as I see an arrow graze her cheek, which makes her stop and her eyes widen.
"Did that scare you, Kagura?" I question, causing her to glare over at me, but another arrow flies towards her. Using her fan, Kagura sends out an attack to slice the arrow, but at the same time knocks the Demon's sword out of its hand.
"Time for my Wind Scar!" Inuyasha bellows as he slams his sword down on the ground, producing the Wind Scar yet again, but this time it hits the Demon, causing it to turn into paper, and we all turn to Kagura.
"You're going down next," Inuyasha states, causing Kagura to pull out a feather from her hair and throw it up.
"Stop!" Inuyasha demands, but then the wind causes him to stop.
"No, you don't!" I shout as I go to slash her with my sword, but she jumps right before my blade makes contact.
"Tsubaki should be you're next victim." Kagura declares, while sitting on her feather. "Of course she's running away..." I think as I see her flying away.
"Damn..." Inuyasha trails off as I look back over at the tower, as I feel the Jewel.
"Inuyasha, I sense the Sacred Jewel," Kagome informs.
"It's definitely inside," I add, while sheathing my sword and walking towards the tower. Once inside, we all see a staircase heading down, causing a chill to run down my spine.
"There was a barrier here to keep something sealed from within, but the seal has been broken," Kaede explains.
"You mean like those paper Shikigami?" Songo asks, turning to Kaede.
"Yes, but a seal this strong would never be needed for those Spirits," Kaede answers as I clench my already made fists.
"We'll find our answers inside, come on." Inuyasha addresses as he jumps down the stairs, and I follow behind him. "I won't let you escape this time, Tsubaki." I think as Kaede, Kagome, and Songo follow behind me.
(To Shippo)
"Tsubaki truly is a dark Priestess?" Botan asks as they were all flying on Kirara.
"It's almost impossible to believe," Momiji answers as they turn to Miroku.
"You both studied under the same Master as Tsubaki, so I don't blame you both for being so skeptical. Now, why don't you both come and see for yourselves what Tsubaki is truly like?" Miroku requests, causing the two girls to look at each other.
"We'd better hurry... Hang on tight, Ladies." Miroku insists with a grin, causing Shippo to put on an annoyed expression.
"Kirara, let's go," Miroku instructs, causing Kirara to sound out.
(To Tsubaki)
She was standing in front of something, while in a praying pose. Opening her eyes, the seal on the rock breaks, causing Tsubaki to stare at it with wide eyes.
"Open Ogre Gates, come forth Golden God." Tsubaki asserted, causing the rock to glow red and begin to crack.
"How dare you seal me from within... You shall pay with your life!" The Ogre snarls, while the rock breaks open, causing Tsubaki to chuckle.
"I will give you power. I hold the ultimate power of the Sacred Jewel." Tsubaki informs as her right eye begins to shine.
"Surely, you desire this power, don't you?" Tsubaki asks, causing a red hand to rise out of the rock.
"Give it to me... Give it to me!" The Ogre demands as the hand rushes towards Tsubaki, but is then absorbed into Tsubaki's glowing eye, causing her to laugh.
"Ogre, what great power," Tsubaki states as she holds her eyes, while laughing.
"Incredible power!" Tsubaki chirps as she begins laughing maniacally, but then we enter the room.
"We found you, Tsubaki." Inuyasha declares, causing her to turn to us while holding her eyes. "There's something different about her. It's sinister..." I think as I narrow my eyes at her.
"You again... I've been waiting for you." Tsubaki made known.
"Give us the Sacred Jewel back!" Inuyasha demands.
"Is that what you're after? This is truly incredible..." Tsubaki trails off.
"Look, the Sacred Jewel is in Tsubaki's right eye." Kagome points out.
"In her eye?" Inuyasha's questions caused me to move a little closer to them.
"Everyone, be careful, there's something different about her," I respond, but I don't take my eyes off Tsubaki.
"I never realized it was this powerful. If only the Sacred Jewel had come into my possession 50 years ago." Tsubaki declares, causing Kaede to step up.
"50 years ago? Tsubaki, what happened between you and my sister Kikyo?" Kaede asks, causing Tsubaki to look over at her with wide eyes.
"Kikyo? You know of her?!" Tsubaki exclaims and looks away as if remembering something.
"It's all Kikyo's fault. Kikyo, that cold and heartless Priestess." Tsubaki's remarks cause Inuyasha to put on an angry expression.
"No one is going to smear her name!" Inuyasha proclaims, causing Tsubaki to turn to us.
"Silence!" Tsubaki bellows, causing a gust of wind to blow Inuyasha back into a wall. "A rush of demonic aura escaped as she did that... She must have absorbed the Demon that was within this tower already." I think, while glaring at Tsubaki.
"Inuyasha!" Kagome calls out as he then falls onto the ground, causing Kagome to rush over to him.
"Inuyasha," Kagome says with a worried expression, while bending down to him.
"So what's next after those Demons? What are you hiding in that eye of yours?" Inuyasha questions as he looks up at her.
"I'm overflowing with Demonic power; it's coursing through my veins," Tsubaki responds as her hands begin to transform into those of a Demon.
"Demonic Power?" Songo asks as Tsubaki begins to laugh, while holding her hands up above her.
(To Miroku)
"What happened to the Tower?" Momiji asks as Kirara lands, allowing her and Botan to get off.
"Impossible, the Forbidden Tower Gates must never be open," Momiji adds, causing Miroku to turn to her.
"You say it's forbidden?" Miroku questions.
"Who could have done this?" Botan asks, but then the ground begins to shake.
"What was that?" Shippo questions.
"Look there!" Miroku shouts as the Tower begins to collapse.
"Inuyasha!" Miroku calls out as he sees us running away from the Tower. Looking back, we see Tsubaki completely transformed into an Ogre, causing us all to stop.
"Behold the power of the Sacred Jewel, witness the true might of the Ogre!" Tsubaki proclaims. "This is bad..." I think as I stare up at Tsubaki as she begins to laugh.
"What's wrong? Has my power left all of you speechless?" Tsubaki asks.
"The seal has been broken." Botan answers with a worried expression.
"Oh, no. That's Tsubaki... She wouldn't dare have broken the seal." Momiji insists.
"With this power, I will have Eternal Life!" Tsubaki declares as she holds her hand up to the sky.
"Get back now!" Miroku instructs as he looks over at Botan and Momiji. "She isn't lying about that power she received..." I think as Blue Lightning engulfs Tsubaki's hand.
"This power is unparalleled!" Tsubaki bellows as she throws it towards us, causing us all to run out of the way just in time. Looking over, I see Kagome on the ground, causing my heart to nearly jump out of my chest as I rush over to her.
"Are you okay?" I question as I offer my hand to her, causing Kagome to nod and take my hand, allowing me to help her up.
"Inuyasha!" Miroku calls out as Inuyasha dodges another one of Tsubaki's blasts. Drawing his sword, Inuyasha rushes towards Tsubaki.
"You're through!" Inuyasha shouts as he goes to slash her wrist, but Tsubaki forces him back.
"Damn..." Inuyasha trails off as he lands on the ground.
"She's strong enough to stop the Tessaiga." Shippo points out, and I nod. "Maybe I should try practicing with my Sacred Power." I think as I pull out my sword and begin concentrating.
"Surrender, it's useless." Tsubaki addresses, causing Inuyasha to let out a growl, while wind circles his blade.
"Don't be so sure about that. Have a taste of my Wind Scar!" Inuyasha retorts as he slams his sword onto the ground, causing a blast of power to fly towards Tsubaki. "The Wind Scar isn't going to work against her... I have to get my Spiritual Power stable!" I think as I begin trying to move the Spiritual Power that was surrounding my body to my sword.
"No way. My Wind Scar didn't kill her..." Inuyasha trails off, causing me to look over at him. "I knew it... I have to do this!" I think as I glare down at my sword.
"You fool!" Tsubaki growls as she sends another blast at Inuyasha, but he dodges it. However, she continues to throw several blasts at him til Tsubaki finally hits him with one, causing Inuyasha to fly up into the air.
"Inuyasha, no!" Kagome screams as she begins rushing over to him, while Miroku glares up at Tsubaki and places his hand on the beads wrapped around his other hand.
"I'll get her," Miroku states as he takes the beads off his hand and points it towards Tsubaki.
"Wind Tunnel!" Miroku declares, causing Tsubaki to look over at him. Holding her hand up, Tsubaki sends a blast towards him.
"Outta the way, Perverted Monk!" I call out as I knock him out of the way.
"(Y/N)!" I hear Kagome call out, but I put on a confident expression while holding my sword that was engulfed in Spiritual Power.
"Die, you Witch!" I demand as I bring my blade down on the blast, causing a wave of Purification to ring out and head straight towards Tsubaki as if I'd shot an arrow towards her. "I think I did it?" I wonder as the smoke clears to see her hand that she blocked her face with was gone.
"H-how dare you!" Tsubaki screams.
"My turn." Kagome insists as she draws her bow and goes to shoot Tsubaki in the eyes, but she blocks with her other hand, causing the arrow to hit her in the arm.
"You may be Kikyo's reincarnation, but you are virtually powerless. However, you are starting to piss me off!" Tsubaki proclaims as she shoots another blast towards me.
"O-oh shit..." I trail off as I look over to see that there wasn't any more Spiritual Power on my sword.
"(Y/N)!" Everyone calls out, causing me to shut my eyes. Suddenly, I feel air on my face, causing me to open my eyes to see blonde fur in front of my face.
"Nice one, Kirara!" Songo calls out, causing me to let out a sigh and pet her.
"Are you okay?" Shippo asks, causing me to sit up and nod.
"Yeah, thank you, Kirara. I owe you one, Shippo." I thank causing her to sound out and Shippo to let out a sigh.
"That was a close one..." Shippo trails off.
"Kikyo was a foolish Priestess who squandered the power of the Sacred Jewel," Tsubaki remarks as she was turned towards Kagome, causing Kaede to step up.
"What are you saying?!" Kaede exclaims, causing me to glare over at Tsubaki, while Kirara brings me down to the ground next to Songo.
"I, Tsubaki, am the perfect match for the Sacred Jewel. 50 years have passed, and at last the power of the Sacred Jewel is mine." Tsubaki specifies.
"Not for long!" Inuyasha states as he jumps towards her.
"You won't get you're way, Tsubaki." Inuyasha declares as he goes to bring his sword down on her, but Tsubaki smacks him away. Inuyasha was forced down onto the ground, causing me to grip the hilt of my sword. "Come on, Spiritual Power once more." I think as I see Songo ready herself.
"Hiraikotsu!" Songo calls out as she throws her weapon towards Tsubaki, who merely slaps it away as if it were a fly. Quickly, I look down at my sword, but there was nothing on it, nor was anything emitting from my body.
"Come for me, the Sacred Jewel can take on all of you and more. There are countless Demon's who desire the power of this Jewel. I will devour them all, and I will have their strength and eternal life." Tsubaki explains. "Damn it... I think I used up all my Spiritual Power in my last attack." I think as I grit my teeth.
"She intends to use the Sacred Jewel to absorb Demon's and gain their power." Kaede points out as Inuyasha gets up off the ground.
"Not if I can help it." Inuyasha insists, causing Tsubaki to look over at him.
"Half Demon, you will soon be mine." Tsubaki declares as her right eye begins to glow.
"I doubt it..." Inuyasha trails off, causing Tsubaki to chuckle.
"Inuyasha, aren't you the one who made Kikyo lose her way in the first place?" Tsubaki asks, causing Inuyasha to glare up at her.
"Why you," Inuyasha answers.
"I will devour whole the Half Demon, Kikyo could not have." Tsubaki made known as her eyes began to glow again, causing a gust of wind to blow behind Inuyasha as if trying to suck him in.
"Come and surrender you're heart to the Sacred Jewel!" Tsubaki demands, causing Inuyasha to place his sword into the ground and hold onto it. "I feel so fucking useless!" I think as I glare down at my hand.
"That thing is powerful..." Inuyasha trails off.
"Now explain yourself, Half Demon. Why do you not give yourself to the power?!" Tsubaki exclaims.
"Because you tarnished the Sacred Jewel, Tsubaki. Kikyo never did that!" Inuyasha bellows.
"How dare you!" Tsubaki shouts as lightning begins to strike around him, till finally one strike hits Inuyasha, causing him to scream.
"Inuyasha!" Kagome calls out with a worried expression. "This is getting out of hand..." I think as I keep trying to summon forth my Spiritual Energy.
"I sacrificed everything in order to possess the Sacred Jewel. Know the wrath of my power!" Tsubaki orders causing massive bolts of lightning to hit around us.
"This is trouble." Shippo points out as he was sitting on Kirara, but then Shippo and I scream out as a lightning bolt strikes behind us. Suddenly, I hear Inuyasha scream out once again, causing me to look over to see that he was once again struck by lightning.
"Inuyasha!" Kagome screams, but he then jumps out of the Lightning towards Tsubaki.
"Pathetic fool!" Tsubaki bellows, while spitting fire towards Inuyasha.
"That Demonic Aura is the only thing keeping you alive!" Inuyasha shouts as he is engulfed in the flame, but then it looks as if the energy begins to circle around him.
"What the hell is going on?" I questioned with wide eyes.
"Time for my Backlash Wave!" Inuyasha proclaims as the energy mixes with his own and rushes back towards Tsubaki, who begins to scream out in pain. "When did Inuyasha learn a move like that?" I wonder as pieces of the Ogre begin to fall onto the ground.
"Look, the Ogre!" Momiji calls out.
"The Ogre is disappearing," Botan adds as I then see a person falling with the pieces.
"No, but why?" Tsubaki asks as she then lands on the ground face down. "The Ogre's Demonic Aura is gone, but Tsubaki still has the Sacred Jewel." I think as I ready my sword, while seeing Tsubaki walking towards us.
"I'm not finished, I still possess the Sacred Jewel." Tsubaki made known, but then her eyes began to glow as one of Naraku's poisonous insects flew out with the Sacred Jewel in its hand.
"Ah, my Sacred Jewel!" Tsubaki cries out as she rushes after the bug. "No, we can't let Naraku have the Jewel back!" I think, but before I could move, Songo readies herself.
"You won't get away!" Songo shouts as she throws her weapon and destroys the insect.
"Nice one!" I chirp, but then I see someone catch it with a chuckle.
"Give that back to us!" Inuyasha demands as I see Kagura floating in her feather with a grin.
"Damn you, Kagura!" I curse, causing Kagura to look down at me.
"See you around, (Y/N)," Kagura remarks and then flies away. "That bitch..." I think, but then I hear someone fall to the ground, causing me to look over.
"Curse you, curse you all." Tsubaki, who was now an old lady, insists as she then stands up with a gasp.
"My youth. My youth is evaporating! My youth, My beauty!" Tsubaki cries out.
"She aged so suddenly." Kagome points out.
"Tsubaki has lost her original Demonic powers as well as the ones from the Jewel. Now she is returning to her original form." Kaede informs, causing me to scoff, while sheathing my sword.
"Oh, exactly where do I go wrong? Did I underestimate that Half Demon, or perhaps Kagome, or was it because I made a pact with Naraku? Where did I go wrong?" Tsubaki questions as she stares at the ground. "Probably all of the above..." I think as I roll my eyes.
"I, Tsubaki, am the Greatest Priestess!" Tsubaki proclaims, whole, holding her hand up as she begins to turn to dust.
"That's the end of the Dark Priestess," Miroku states.
"Poor, Tsubaki." Momiji declares as Tsubaki's remains begin to be scattered by the wind.

"Sorry for the trouble." Momiji and Botan chorus as they bow, while we stand at the entrance to the Temple.
"There's no need to apologize, it wasn't you're fault." Kagome insists, and I nod.
"Yeah, you both can just look at it as gaining much-needed experience." I point out and they nod.
"Take care, Shippo." Botan states.
"You, too." Shippo declares as we all begin walking.
"It turns out that we have once again fallen victim to Naraku's evil tricks." Miroku made known, while stopping in his tracks, causing Inuyasha to turn to him.
"Yeah... Who did?" Inuyasha asks, causing Miroku to begin walking again.
"Tsubaki, and the rest of us as well," Miroku answers, causing Inuyasha to scoff.
"And Naraku's the one who possesses the Sacred Jewel once again." Songo made known, causing me to bow to them.
"I'm sorry, this is all my fault." I apologize, causing everyone to turn to me.
"Now, that's not true," Miroku assures, causing me to look up to see Inuyasha with a confident expression.
"I'll get them back from him, so stop beating yourself up about it!" Inuyasha demands, causing Kagome to smile.
"Yeah, I'm sure Inuyasha's right," Kagome reassures, and I nod. "I should shake my head and tell them everything, but for some reason I can't bring myself to..." I think as I turn away from them.
"Boy, I'm so tired." Shippo sighs, but I then feel a familiar presence in the trees, causing me to glare over at them.
"Well, shall we go back then?" Kaede questions as she then begins to walk past me. "Kikyo, are you keeping an eye on me... Or are you hiding in the trees for another reason?" I wonder, but then Inuyasha turns to where I'm looking.
"What's the matter, Inuyasha and you too, (Y/N)?" Kagome asks as she and Songo turn to us.
"Forget it, probably nothing. Guess I imagined it..." Inuyasha trails off as he goes to look over at me, but I quickly turn and start walking.
