Chapter 66 - Chapter 66 – The Truth of Embed

After Kai's ascension, silence reigned within the vastness of his origin universe. The stars pulsed softly beneath his will, the currents of Origin Energy flowing like living rivers through endless galaxies.

It was then he realized—he hadn't checked his status in quite some time.

"Let's see how far I've come," he murmured.

A crystalline hum echoed through the void as golden data streams formed before him, weaving into a familiar holographic screen of divine script.

Kai blinked as the screen faded into streams of light.

He wasn't surprised—just quietly impressed.

At this point, even his growth no longer shocked him.

Still, curiosity stirred within.

"What's with this 'Complexity Value' thing, Ema?"

Ema's calm, melodic voice answered, echoing across the inner stars.

"CV is a measure of existential complexity—how complete a lifeform is on an omniversal scale. It determines not only strength but the depth of one's existence itself."

Kai raised a brow. "So… what would the CV of a regular human be?"

Ema chuckled softly. "Ordinary humans without cultivation don't even deserve a measurable CV. Their existential worth is practically zero—around 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 of a full CV."

Kai blinked. "That's… depressing."

She continued, "Most beings below the hyperversal scale don't even know what CV means. It's beyond comprehension for them."

He crossed his arms, smiling faintly. "You know, one moment we were talking about higher-dimensional entities, and now you're saying I'm already turning into one."

Ema gave a teasing hum. "You're evolving into a higher-dimensional being on your own. Try not to sound surprised."

"I'm not," Kai said, smirking. "I'm already a living universe. Becoming a living higher dimension just feels like the next logical step."

He looked back at his newly listed authority. "And with Origin Devour and Assimilate… I'm basically Galactus."

Ema interrupted immediately. "But infinitely better."

Kai laughed lightly. "True. So I can devour universes without harming the inhabitants?"

"Exactly. They'd even evolve alongside you," she explained. "But I still don't want you to devour them. Those universes aren't even worthy of being part of you."

Kai's gaze softened. "Maybe. I could become a multiverse right now by creating new universes inside me… but it feels like something's missing. Inspiration, maybe."

He paused, looking out at his radiant internal cosmos. "I want to become a multiverse worthy of my bloodline—where each universe within me stands equal to the Origin Universe itself."

For a moment, Ema didn't reply. Then, unexpectedly, she smiled—a soft, radiant smile unlike any Kai had ever seen.

He froze. Beautiful, he thought, before quickly turning his gaze away.

Ema spoke again, her tone now carrying quiet warmth.

"Now that you've comprehended the first truth of your bloodline, have you discovered your most powerful ability?"

Kai frowned slightly. "My most powerful ability? You tell me."

Ema's eyes gleamed with hidden amusement. "It's Embed—the ability you've neglected all this time."

He blinked. "Embed? That's just for imprinting runes and laws, right?"

She shook her head slowly. "No, Kai. Embed allows you to embed your subconscious will upon reality itself. You've been using it constantly—without realizing it."

Kai's mind stirred as she continued.

"Ever since Earth, you've subconsciously embedded your thoughts into existence. You kept yearning for a worthy opponent, and your reality shaped itself to grant that desire. You've been suppressing yourself—by ninety-five percent—ever since leaving Earth."

Kai's eyes widened.

"You haven't even used your omniscience, omnipresence, or omnipotence," Ema added. "Even your passive powers have been suppressed. Remember how disappointed you were when fighting the commanders of the Null Empire?"

He nodded slowly.

"That's because Embed made it so," she said. "You were subconsciously restraining yourself—seeking a true challenge. Even the Primordial Humans sending a Peak Monarch against you, an Early Sage, was no coincidence. Embed orchestrated it."

Kai's breath stilled as realization dawned.

Ema's voice softened. "Even then, your bloodline and Embed made an agreement—to overly suppress you, forcing your growth, so you could awaken your domain faster. Remember how Calyrex kept repeating the same words during battle?"

Kai's eyes flickered. "…Yes. He kept saying I was evolving."

"Exactly," Ema replied. "That wasn't him. That was your bloodline and Embed clashing. Your bloodline tried to empower him, while Embed manipulated time around him—reversing his injuries every time you struck him. The reversal was so fast you didn't notice, but it caused his words to loop as well. That's why I was worried."

Kai's expression turned thoughtful. "And the hunger in the Origin Universe…"

"Also Embed's doing," Ema confirmed. "Your subconscious wished for Matthew to face a fearsome threat, and reality obeyed."

Kai stood there, momentarily speechless. Then he sighed with a half-laugh. " I am not really surprised that my bloodline as it own consciousness because I have long suspected that for a while now but my ability having it own consciousness is quite shocking

Ema smiled faintly. "why arre you surprised? When concepts like the Nine Dimensional Lords have awareness, why shouldn't your abilities?"

He chuckled quietly. "Fair point."

Ema stepped closer, her presence glowing with starlight. "Now that you've awakened the Architect Seal, you can finally control Embed consciously."

Kai nodded, a small grin forming. "Then I guess I can't wait to meet my bloodline in person someday."

Ema smiled knowingly. "You will, Kai. Sooner than you think."
