Chapter 27 - Chapter 26 Sending You to See God

Just as the Female Disciplinary Committee Member was calling for an ambulance, she subconsciously glimpsed Rod approaching the injured.

"This... Sir, please do not approach the injured to avoid secondary harm." The Female Disciplinary Committee Member's voice still trembled slightly, clearly not having recovered from her panic.

However, she couldn't allow unrelated personnel to touch the injured, lest it cause secondary harm.

"Don't worry, it will be fine soon." Rod stopped in front of the three injured Judgment members, casually throwing out three positive Curse Power orbs. In the eyes of the others, however, the form of his Curse Power orbs could not be seen.

The following scene overturned the worldview of the three women present. The three Judgment members, who had been heavily scarred, saw their blood flow back into their bodies as if time were reversing, and their wounds began to heal at a visible speed.

Even more incredible was the Judgment member who was most severely injured, with one arm blown off. Bones began to regrow on his arm, followed by flesh, skin, and finally, a complete, unblemished arm grew out.

These miraculous scenes left the three women speechless with astonishment.

"This... What kind of Item is this!?" Frenda exclaimed in shock. It was no wonder she was surprised; Rod had not yet revealed Reversal Technique to the Item quartet.

Who knew Accelerator couldn't even make Rod use Reversal Technique to fight him.

"Mr. Rod!? Huh? Mr. Rod?" Saten Ruiko excitedly called out to Rod, only to find that Rod's figure had disappeared from the store.

"Is he afraid of trouble?" Saten Ruiko scratched her head, puzzled, but a sense of pride rose in her heart, proud that she could know such a person with extraordinary power who was kind-hearted and sought no reward.

But where was our kind-hearted Mr. Rod now?

In a dark alley, a gloomy young man observed the situation inside the convenience store, an excited look on his pale face.

"That's it, this is great! Power is in my hands. Whether it's those incompetent Judgment members or those delinquents, I can blow them all to death, not a single one left, hahahaha!?"

The young man became increasingly excited and deranged as he spoke, but he didn't notice a large hand already resting on his shoulder from behind him.

"Boom!?" A loud bang echoed. The young man only felt as if he had been hit head-on by a large truck. His entire body's bones were dislocated, and pain was everywhere. Once his brain reacted, a heartbreaking wail erupted.

A pig-like scream echoed in the alley. The young man couldn't move an inch, simply because his entire body was embedded in the wall as if it had been carved into it, unremovable.

"How does it feel? To be suddenly attacked?" A low voice came from in front of him. The young man's glasses had been destroyed by the previous attack. His already nearsighted vision, coupled with his not-so-clear brain after the attack, made him completely unable to see the person in front of him.

"...Who?" Kairiku Hatsuy asked tremblingly. At this moment, his mind was a blur, unable to even use his Item. He had become a lamb to the slaughter, unable to resist.

"The brave are angry and draw their swords at the stronger; the timid are angry, but draw their swords at the weaker. You are truly incorrigible." Rod's indifferent words seemed to pronounce Kairiku Hatsuy's end. As if he had a premonition, Kairiku Hatsuy coughed heartbreakingly, ignoring the blood profusely overflowing from the corners of his mouth, and shouted hoarsely,

"Wait... wait, I... I was wrong, forgive me!?"

Rod slowly raised his palm and touched Kairiku Hatsuy's shoulder. Kairiku Hatsuy, thinking Rod was letting him go, forced a smile, but boundless hatred and rage surged in his heart.

"Forgiveness is God's business, and I am sending you to meet God." Rod's words were the last straw that broke the camel's back. Kairiku Hatsuy, knowing he was about to die, completely descended into madness. Ignoring the spurting blood from his mouth, he screamed and shouted like a madman, trying to attract people around.

"Don't get excited, take a deep breath, dizziness is normal." Rod comforted him while activating the Spell, Idle Transfiguration.

With the sound of flesh exploding, Kairiku Hatsuy's entire body burst open like fireworks, blood and flesh flying everywhere. Rod controlled the blood to flow into the sewer, and his traces completely disappeared.

Kairiku Hatsuy — Dead.

Rod condensed Kairiku Hatsuy's Soul into a ball of Curse Power, emanating strong negative emotions, including anger, suppression, fear, and despair.

The Soul is the convergence of the heart's consciousness, it is the form of the heart, it is the action of the heart. The heart is within the Soul, and the Soul is within the heart. The heart is the spirit, and the spirit is the heart, hence it is called the mind.

The Soul carries the mind and contains rich emotions.

Every world has the existence of a Soul. The Soul is the source of human life; as long as there is a person, there is a Soul.

Rod possessed the Spell to manipulate Souls. With the extension of other Spells, perhaps the combination of Idle Transfiguration and the Ten Shadows Spell, Rod could create an undead scourge.

Thinking this, Rod put Kairiku Hatsuy's Soul ball into his Shadow Spell space. A Soul of this level was, at most, a strengthening material, not yet at the stage of manipulation and subjugation.

Rod had no burden in killing a scumbag. He casually took out a recording device from his bag; this should be Imagine Breaker (level up).

Rod returned to the convenience store, seeing that a police cordon had already been set up in front of it. The Female Disciplinary Committee Member, who was communicating with the Security Force, saw Rod and immediately led three Judgment members to thank him. Looking at the three who bowed solemnly, even crying tears of gratitude and prostrating on the ground, Rod just waved his hand casually and asked,

"Which way did those two little girls go?"

Following the direction pointed by the Judgment member, Rod saw Frenda desperately hugging Saten Ruiko's leg, tears streaming down her face, saying,

"Wait, that was an unfortunate accident just now."

"The remaining canned food, my recipe needs it, and besides…"

Saten Ruiko dragged Frenda forward, then abruptly stopped, looking at Frenda with an unpleasant expression, and continued to say,

"I have no mercy to spare for people who waste food."

With that, Saten Ruiko walked forward without looking back. Seeing this, Frenda immediately changed her tactic, quickly wiping her mouth with her hand, smearing her saliva below her eyes, pretending to be pitiful and on the verge of tears,

"Wuwu~ Japanese people are so cold. I just want to use the taste of my hometown to dilute my homesickness, at least…"

Seeing that Saten Ruiko completely ignored her and continued to walk forward, Frenda couldn't sit still and pounced on Saten Ruiko again like a hungry tiger.

"Ignoring me is too much, no matter what."

Annoyed beyond measure, Saten Ruiko helplessly said to Frenda,

"Enough! You can come to my house for dinner, alright, uh, Mr. Rod."

Saten Ruiko, who was initially a bit irritable, became subconsciously reserved the moment she saw Rod, fiddling with the hair by her ear, her face flushed.

'No way, Mr. Rod saw me getting angry just now. Will he think I'm rude? No, no, no, no matter how I think about it, it's this guy's fault!?'

Saten Ruiko subconsciously glanced at Frenda, only to feel someone behind her. Frenda was hiding behind her like a quail, as if avoiding some kind of flood or beast.

"Do you mind adding one more person, Saten?" Rod asked with a light laugh.

"Of course not, Mr. Rod, you can just call me Saten Ruiko." Saten Ruiko said excitedly. In her heart, Rod was now as dazzling as an idol. How could the girl not be excited to have dinner with her idol?
