Watching Jena walk away, Lean couldn't help but giggle. "Her goth-like makeup is gone. For once, she looked like a normal person." He muttered before going back to the rabbit forest.
"School won't start in two weeks, so I have more time to spend alone." he mused.
In this era, school is only for three weeks a month. With weekend days in those weeks, the total number of days students attend school is only fifteen days.
As a second-year college student, Lean needs to spend only nine days in school. Each week he only had three days of class.
Lean was bored, without taking orders from anyone, he didn't know what to do for now. He wasn't the type to watch actual TV series since he found them boring.
Browsing the internet will undoubtedly be boring at some point; then, games? The internet is filled with countless games. There are even some VR games that people spend days with, without logging out.
But Lean and his friends weren't the type to play this kind of game. "What am I gonna do now?" He questions standing still, as he gazes at the rabbit forest.
He sighed defeatedly before going back inside. Looking at the unwashed dishes in the sink, a smile crept on his face.
Normally, the number of dishes he needs to clean barely reaches five since he is alone in this place. But with Jena being with him for three days and with her relentless order of cooking and making food for her, the sink was overflowing with them.
He couldn't wait for Jena to come back, even though she just left. What she did might seem horrible, but for Lean, it was a reminder that he was never alone in this home of his.
Putting on his gloves and apron, he grabbed the plate from the sink and rinsed it with water, while muttering, "Guess, I'll do the dishes for now."
…..
"Finally done." He celebrated his small accomplishment, it may seem pointless, but to him, doing this kind of act was a big thing.
Lean wanted to make sure his mental health is at its best all the time. If he started to get lazy just from doing the dishes, then how long would it take for him to get lazy from taking care of himself?
Although he doesn't remember where he heard this from, he always told himself. "A clean house is a healthy mind. The well-fed man is a happy mind."
Going back to the living room, Lean lay down on the floor, looking at the ceiling trying to grab it with his fist. "I can't even go down the village at all." He mumbled.
Turning to the side and gazing at the TV. Since he has nothing to do at all, he decided to give a chance to the shows being broadcast on it. As soon as the screen was filled with actors, he already guessed what kind of show was being shown.
"A romance movie? The woman is definitely cheating with some random man she met on her trip while her hardworking husband is back in the city, hoping she enjoys her time." He sighed.
"I don't know how people can watch this kind of show; it's technically telling the viewer, ' It's not cheating if your husband doesn't know about it. Or it's not cheating if the man you cheated with died in the end."
Even with the harsh comment of his to the show. Lean continued to watch the show without moving from his position.
Although he did not like the idea of romance in this kind of show, having something make a noise in this empty house is better than nothing.
"An actual romance? No cheating, no unnecessary sexual assault, no sign of pregnancy happening in the end, and actual good acting."
Lean was stuck in his position, unable to move at all. At first, he thought for sure he would get bored watching it then later on changed to another channel.
But here he was still watching the show, for the last two hours already.

…..?
"What?" Lean exclaims finally regaining his mind. At some point when the show ended, his mind started to move on its own without his knowledge.
"I was on autopilot all this time?" Looking at the orange sky, he couldn't help but sigh. To think he was on autopilot for so long that the sun was setting already…
Sitting up, he found he was inside the rabbit forest. Around him, the grass had completely withered, as if something had drained out the life and energy in this specific area.
Looking up, the canopy was cleared out, that he didn't even realize he was inside the forest before he sat up.
"What happened here?" He asked, knowing this kind of area had never been here. To make sure that the rabbits are alright in the forest, Lean would explore the entire forest to see if anything abnormal happened.
So, having to find this kind of thing inside the forest was weird. Weird enough that it scared him. Putting his hand on the ground to push his body, he felt a cold energy from a metallic-like surface beneath the ground.
Brushing off the area where the cold energy was, he found a card deep in the soil. Pulling it out, he found the card beautiful.
The card was the size of his hand, and on the back, it had a whale design engraved on it. The corners were golden, and the surface of both sides was black jet color.
Gazing at it, Lean wondered if this was really a toy he had had in his childhood that he accidentally dropped and was now finding years later. But with no answer to his question, he put it in his pocket, then started running to his home to wash up.
…..
"Now this is better." After getting home. Lean ran to the bathroom and soaked himself in the tub placed on the corner. The water felt so good that he went and spent an hour soaking himself.
Of course, he knew he needed to leave and clean the property himself. After he got up from it, he went and scrubbed his body without stopping till the rabbit shit smell from him was gone.
In the end, Lean spent an hour soaking himself, then another hour scrubbing away the smell of the rabbits' shit.
Grabbing a pair of his clothes from the wooden drawer. Lean accidentally stumbled on it, making a picture frame on top of it fall down.
Picking it up, Lean gazes at it with a blank expression. The picture frame was a photo of him, with Jena and his mother. There he spent a long time gazing at the picture, with only a towel covering his waist below.
After a while, Lean finally had fresh clothes on him. He had already prepared his dinner for the night. A can of food and white rice leftover from this morning, heated up for a bit.
The plate of rice was in the center of the table, a jug of water on the corner top right. The open can is on the corner, top left, with a small bowl below it where he pours down the contents of the can. And his glass was on top of the card he found in the forest before.
"It tastes good." He remarked. Cleaning up the plate, spoon, glass, and the can. Lean accidentally sliced off his finger with the can lid. Blood was bleeding from his finger, ignoring it, a drop of blood spilled on the card under the glass of water.
"Huh…..!?" He mused, then later on remembered the content about the night last Thursday. The moment his mind processed the forgotten memories he had, Lean fell to the floor and let out an agonizing scream.
"WAAAAAAA!!!!!"
